“He had no vital signs when we arrived,” Dr. Kevin Gannon said of his team “perform[ing] advanced CPR” on Brett Gardner’s 14-year-old son.

On Tuesday, a “preliminary ruling ruled out asphyxiation” as the 14-year-old’s cause of death and found “no macro-level abnormalities” in his “respiratory tract upon inspection of the body.”
“I love you more than anything and I’ll never be able to get over your loss,” his girlfriend said while sharing sweet pictures of them.
According to Costa Rica’s Judicial Investigation Police, Gardner’s “whole family fell ill, likely from food poisoning from something they ate.”
Miller Gardner’s body was found on Friday in a hotel room in Costa Rica.
