By now, you're probably familiar with one of the most bizarre and upsetting celebrity news items of 2019.
Earlier this month, T.I. admitted to abusing his daughter in what he clearly thought was a display of fatherly protectiveness.
The internet disagreed, and the rapper - whose real name is Clifford Harris - was shamed for his inappropriate intrusion into the sex life of 18-year-old Deyjah.
Asked during a podcast appearance if he's had "the sex talk" with his children, T.I. replied that he's gone much further than that.
"Have I? This is the thing: Deyjah's 18, just graduated high school now and she's attending her first year of college, figuring it out for herself," Harris said.
He added: "And yes, not only have we had the conversation, we have yearly trips to the gynecologist to check her hymen."
"This is what we do. Right after the birthday we celebrate," he continued.
"Usually like the day after the party she's enjoying her gifts. I put a sticky note on the door: 'Gyno. Tomorrow. 9:30.'"
And why would T.I. demand that his daughter go to a gynecologist immediately after her birthday every year?
The answer is sure to nauseate you!
"I'm like, 'Deyjah they want you to sign this. They want you to sign this so we can share information. Is there anything you wouldn't want me to know? Okay. See doc? No problem,'" the rapper explained.
"I say, 'Look doc, she don't ride no horses, she don't ride no bike, she don't play no sports, man. Just check the hymen please and give me back my results, expeditiously,'" Harris continued.
"I will say as of her 18th birthday, her hymen is still intact," the father of six proudly concluded his tale.
Shortly thereafter, Deyjah unfollowed T.I. on social media, leading many to the conclusion that she wasn't thrilled with her father's decision to humiliate her in front of the entire world.
Who would have thought?
Unfortunately, it seems Tip is still receiving plenty of support on the homefront.
His wife Tiny, for example, seems wholly unbothered by his remarks.
Tiny posted the below pic to her Instagram page this week,
She captioned the photo with a Spanish declaration of eternal love writing, “Mi amor por siempre.”
Tiny has kept a low profile in recent weeks, so it's not surprising that the comments section exploded with concern for Deyjah.
“Is Deyjah OK?” one follower asked, adding, “We care.”
Tiny replied with an eye-roll emoji, and her response received a mixed reaction from fans:
“Don’t [eye-roll] your husband literally embarrassed her in front of millions,” wrote commenter.
“Maybe her [eye-roll] is her not being enthusiastic about the situation. It’s not her daughter so I’m sure she has no input,” another argued.
That's a generous interpretation - but it seems to us that Tiny is 100 percent #TeamTip, which makes us very sad for Deyjah.
