Juliana Custodio Supported by 90 Day Fiance Fans After Split from Michael Jessen

Just two years after marrying in a beautiful ceremony, Michael Jessen and Juliana Custodio have split.

The 90 Day Fiance couple had won over fans despite a number of potential red flags with their genuine love story.

However, their breakup is every bit as authentic. Among other factors, the marriage was a COVID casualty.

In the aftermath of it all, fans aren’t exactly divided. Basically everyone is Team Juliana.

Michael Jessen and Juliana Custodio: I'm married!

When Season 7 began, viewers weren’t sure what to make about Michael Jessen and Juliana Custodio.

They had an age gap and a money gap and had first met at a yacht party. Something seemed up.

But the 43-year-old and 23-year-old proved that they really cared about each other.

Michael Jessen children

Over time, fans cared, too.

Juliana formed a sweet bond with Michael’s kids, Max and Cece, and even got along reasonably well with his ex.

Maybe more than reasonably — Michael’s ex-wife, Sarah Naso, actually officiated their 2019 wedding.

Michael and Juliana did not return for Happily Ever After? for one very good reason.

They simply seemed happy, and there’s a question mark in that spinoff’s title for a reason.

The couples with the most drama and storyline potential stay with the franchise longer than fan-favorites.

Michael Jessen and Juliana Custodio

On social media, Michael and Juliana seemed, well, happy.

We saw glimpses of a cheerful, blended family that got along well.

But after weeks of rumors of trouble in paradise, Michael shared that their 2-year anniversary would be their last.

Michael’s description of their marriage’s downfall placed the blame primarily at the feet of the COVID-19 pandemic.

(After all, it wasn’t even six months after they married that the world went into lockdown)

He affirmed that it was not Juliana’s fault, and though he expressed heartbreak, said that he understood Juliana’s desire to walk away.

Michael Jessen and Juliana Custodio wedding snap

Michael also implied that Juliana had already moved on, signaling that this split had happened quietly some time in the past.

But Michael did not have the last word.

In fact, he ended up apologizing for and editing that post after Juliana made one of her own.

Juliana acknowledged that, yes, the pandemic rocked their marriage as it did so many others.

However, she felt that Michael wasn’t really on her team.

She described their marriage as “toxic” and a total departure from the life that she had wanted to live.

For a while, there, Juliana was the only one keeping the household afloat.

“I was feeling like a maid,” she characterized.

That is a particularly loaded image since it calls to mind that she was a young Brazilian woman cleaning up after white Americans.

You’d think that this might be about her adjusting to a stepmom role with Michael’s kids, but this was not about them.

Instead, it had a lot to do with Michael’s ex’s husband.

That’s right — Juliana found herself cleaning up after her husband, his ex-wife, and that ex-wife’s husband.

Juliana voiced her frustration with Sarah’s husband Sean’s mess on 90 Day Fiance: Self Quarantined.

“He leaves glasses everywhere,” she lamented to the camera.

Even then, during lockdown, Juliana was reminded everyone including herself that she was “not a maid.”

Having to clean up after people with whom you are living is sometimes part of life.

But usually, this happens with the expectation that it’s mutual.

If the same person is collecting dishes and cleaning floors without the favor being returned, well … are they really part of the family?

Fans are showering Juliana with outspoken support, and so are a number of members of the cast.

Larissa, Akinyi, Emily Larina, Jasmin, and Fernanda have voiced their support.

In a few of those cases, one imagines that they saw parallels to their own stories.

People don’t necessarily view Michael as a villain … but more as a cautionary tale.

It’s possible to be an overall good person without being a good partner, especially when major financial stressors arise.

It was never Michael’s job to plan for a global pandemic, but as her husband, it was his job to consider Juliana’s feelings and act accordingly.

Yara Zaya Flaunts Belly Bump: Is She Pregnant With Baby #2?

During 90 Day Fiance Season 8 and especially Happily Ever After? Season 6, Yara Zaya became a fan-favorite.

Though her mother-in-law Gwen may be one of the most beloved franchise figures of all time, Yara won over many hearts.

Fans have been wondering for months if Yara and Jovi are expecting their second child.

There have been hints … and now, Yara is ready to show off her belly bump.

Yara Zaya and Jovi Dufren treasure their precious baby Mylah.

In the past, Yara has affirmed her desire to have a second child … but not right away.

We have all seen that she and Jovi have some things to decide and work out as a couple before they expand their family.

But all of that was months ago.

This week, Yara took to her Instagram Stories to give fans a glimpse at her belly.

That is a bump, folks. Is Yara pregnant?

In the past, pregnancy rumors have been quashed by the noted absence of a baby bump.

For example, after Yara admitted to missing her period at the Tell All, we knew that she was not pregnant due to her flat tummy.

Obviously, that’s the opposite of this situation — and fans took to social media to congratulate her and Jovi.

However, it seems that the congratulations from fans — though reasonable and in good faith — were premature.

“Yara is pregnant … with a food baby,” Yara’s rep revealed to In Touch Weekly on Tuesday, October 19.

The quip clarified that she is not actually pregnant, but had just eaten a lot of good food.

Yara Zaya - but I don't have fun, I want to leave, I have a baby

Yara has very reasonably adjusted her lifestyle and daily routines to match being a parent.

Her husband, Jovi, has struggled with this adjustment.

Jovi has been reluctant to part ways with his party boy lifestyle and adapt to the hours and habits appropriate to being a parent to a baby.

Yara Zaya HEA s6 preview 04

On the one hand, Jovi has been living a party-going, fun-having, bar-hopping, strip-club-attending lifestyle for a long time.

Adjustments are difficult.

We can also note that Jovi having spent months away for work likely made it harder for him to adapt because less of his day-to-day life had changed.

Gwen Eymard tells her son to get on the right track

Gwen Eymard, Jovi’s mother and one of the most universally liked stars in the show’s history, knows all of this.

But as much as she loves her son and understands where he’s coming from, she also knows that he has to change.

Gwen has at times been blunt with him, reminding him of his new responsibilities.

Gwen Eymard can understand Yara's bond with Mylah

At times, Yara has overcorrected — asking guests to leave after only a few hours of visiting instead of simply retiring with the baby and asking them to be quiet.

Fans also observe that she and Jovi need to find a balance when it comes to decision-making.

No one should feel like a stranger or guest in their own home.

Jovi Dufren reminds Yara that she can just tell Gwen how she feels

But at the same time, if Jovi wants to take a more active role as Yara’s partner, he needs to be more responsible.

It may be that a lot of progress has been made behind the scenes — since it has been many months since this sweet family filmed.

Whenever Yara really is expecting Baby #2, we’re sure that she and Jovi will be ready.

Jorge Nava and Girlfriend Expecting Baby #2!

In April of this year, 90 Day Fiance alum Jorge Nava welcomed his first child with his girlfriend, Rhoda.

This was celebrated by fans, who were happy to see him find his happiness.

But Jorge and Rhoda have more good news, just six months later.

They are expecting Baby #2!!

Jorge Nava took to his Instagram account to share the welcome announcement.

“Never did I imagine my dreams becoming a reality so fast,” he wrote.

“Rhoda, you and Zara are my world,” Jorge gushed about his girlfriend and child.

“I Love you more than you’ll ever imagine,” Jorge concluded.

He shared a photo in which he and Rhoda were embracing, with Jorge’s hand placed over her abdomen.

That is the kind of photo that you share only, only when you are expecting a baby … unless it’s a throwback.

Jorge Nava IG apparent baby #2 announcement

For the record, Jorge didn’t use the word “pregnant” or “expecting” or anything of the sort.

Perhaps he was playing coy — he is infrequent at best when it comes to Instagram.

It might not have occurred to him to spell it out. But he also didn’t need to.

Sometimes, a picture says it all, as it does in this case.

Fans immediately flocked to the comments to offer their sincere congratulations.

While some were hesitant to get too specific in case they had misread. Others were not.

“Another baby! Good for you guys you must be happy in love,” celebrated one follower.

“You deserve all the love!” another wrote happily.

“Awww! So sweet! So happy for you! She is beautiful!” gushed another fan.

“Living your best life now!! Congratulations,” another follower wrote.

Some took the opportunity to take shots at his ex, Anfisa Arkhipchenko Nava.

Others were just happy for him and for Rhoda.

Jorge does not appear to have shot down or corrected any of the congratulations headed their way.

So perhaps the fans who were cautious and didn’t want to jump the gun didn’t have to be so reserved.

Either the universal assumption that Jorge is announcing a pregnancy was right, or he’s just not reading the comments.

Jorge Nava IG new girlfriend teasers

Jorge has made tremendous strides in his life.

His marriage to Anfisa … did not end well.

We don’t just mean that they were bitter and had things to say about each other, though that was true.

We mean that the marriage ended while Jorge was behind bars.

He had to serve two years in prison in Arizona for possessing marijuana. It was unjust.

It is heartbreaking that he had his freedoms stripped away because he had some forbidden leaves in his car.

However, Jorge made the best of a bad situation.

Part of that meant that he chose to undergo a body transformation, losing a staggering amount of weight.

Everyone deserves to have a body more to their liking, no matter what form that may take for them.

Jorge Nava "freedom" IG Story

Jorge was celebrated when he left prison in May of 2020.

Fans were happy to see his fresh start, and thrilled when he began dating again.

Our heartfelt congratulations go to Jorge and Rhoda. Unless we have all catastrophically misread Jorge’s post.

90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days Trailer Teases Hurt Feelings, Fears, and True Love in Season 5!

We are less than two months away from Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days.

The new season is introducing seven all-new couples … but there is one familiar face lurking among the newcomers.

Shortly after the cast list was released, the trailer dropped.

Watching this video … we are already chomping at the bit, eager for the new season to arrive on December 12.

Ben is a 52-year-old from Michigan.

Mahogany is a 24-year-old from Peru.

Despite the age gap and geographical differences, Mahogany messaged Ben after he was featured in a fitness magazine.

Their DMs helped them blossom into a relationship, and Ben says that their shared Christian beliefs will bridge any divide.

Ben was previously a married pastor within an extremely strict Christian community, and he believes that Mahogany is his second chance.

But his friends have noticed some red flags, as they spell out in this trailer.

Ben and Mahogany have never video chatted — at all. He has seen photos of her and they message.

His friends think this girl, if she exists, may be using him … or could even be catfishing him.

The trailer doesn’t show them together yet, but there is a cast photo of her (not standing with Ben) … make of that what you will.

Caleb is a 28-year-old from Arizona.

Alina is a 27-year-old from St. Petersberg, Russia.

They were actually online friends as teens, but ended up losing touch over the years … until recently.

Caleb and Alina reconnected 13 years later and their rekindled friendship became something decidedly more romantic.

Alina is a little person, and her disability prevents her from walking or standing for extended periods.

They have real concerns about how their lifestyles will mesh … and the judgments that they could face for their differences.

In the trailer, we can see those concerns play out as Alina is anxious before their airport reunion.

She worries that Caleb will react differently to seeing her in person, in her wheelchair, than he does to her online.

Alina is not the only star this season who worries that in-person meetings could lead to rejection.

Ella is a 29-year-old from Idaho.

Johnny is a 34-year-old from Jinan, China.

Ella is a country girl who describes herself as being obsessed with Asian culture, which is already … a bit loaded.

To make matters more intense, they met on a dating app that matches Asian men with white women.

Meanwhile, Ella worries about how Johnny will view her when they meet up in person.

She has faced painful rejections before now, and does not want to go through that again.

In the trailer, it sounds like some of Johnny’s relatives are “concerned” about this … but it’s not clear how Johnny feels.

Their storyline is clearly going to feature issues of cultural appreciation vs fetishization, body image issues, and more.

It will be interesting to see how all of that works out when they come face to face in Idaho.

Gino is a 51-year-old from Michigan.

Jasmine is a 34-year-old from Panama.

Gino has divorced his ex-wife, a Brazilian woman, after seven years of marriage and is looking to move on.

Gino and Jasmine international dating site and fell head over heels for her personality, her looks, and her scholarly mind.

Jasmine is not shy about getting explicit over the phone, even when cameras are watching.

The two also have some sexy fun in the water during the trailer.

But it looks like Jasmine has real jealousy issues.

In the trailer, we see her demanding Gino’s phone’s password so that she can snoop through his messages.

That is a complicated boundary for couples to navigate, and not a fair unilateral demand.

We even see Jasmine yell at and interrogate Gino before storming off in anger.

Gino openly asks the camera if he made a mistake.

Well … did he?

Kimberly is a 50-year-old divorcee from San Diego.

32-year-old Usman Umar is already well known to fans as the aspiring music star “Sojaboy” from Nigeria.

We already saw his disastrous marriage to “Baby Girl” Lisa Hamme. Now, he’s back at it.

Apparently, a year ago, Kimberly messaged Usman as a “fan” of his music. Yes, he really has fans.

Wouldn’t you know it, but Usman and Kimberly’s communications blossomed into a potential romance.

Usman invited her to come see him where he is filming a new music video, despite his alleged concerns about history repeating itself.

Usman is once again dating a much older white American woman.

Many fans suspect that he has ulterior motives and no intention of marrying her.

The real benefit could be continuing to promote his music to millions … which does seem to be at least a side benefit.

But Kimberly, like Baby Girl Lisa Hamme before her, is intensely jealous of Usman’s career.

In the trailer, she asks why he would invite her to a music video that’s not about her.

The echoes of his past relationship were not lost on him, but his amusement did not go over well.

That’s when Kimberly splashes his face with water in the trailer and storms off.

Oh yeah, this storyline is going to be a lot.

Let’s just hope that things don’t end quite as awfully as they did with Lisa.

Memphis is a 34-year-old Michigan native.

Hamza is a 28-year-old from Tunisia.

The two met online 8 months ago and developed a relationship.

Memphis has a “wild side” following an unstable childhood, but is hoping to find a stable relationship to keep her grounded.

We get to see some of their long-distance shower video chatting, which is apparently just a thing that this franchise is doing now.

It turns out that Hamza proposed to Memphis after only a few months. She said yes.

She’s planning to marry him during this trip to Tunisia.

In addition to getting to know her fiance better, she wants him to sign a prenup … and the pushback could end up tearing them apart.

But then, so could a lot of things. After all, they are still getting to know each other.

Mike is a 34-year-old from Thiells, New York.

Ximena is a 24-year-old from Colombia.

She is also a single mother whose previous relationship clearly put her through a lot.

Ximena speaks no English. Mike speaks almost no Spanish. They use a translator app, which has its own drawbacks.

But despite a serious language barrier, the two of them are talking about marriage and kids.

Mike wants to not only marry Ximena, he wants to take her and her kids back to the US with him as a family.

Mike has sent Ximena money and gifts.

There are real questions about whether Ximena truly loves him and not just what he can do for her.

At one point during the trailer, Ximena seems to confess that she is not in love with Mike.

This moment of painful honesty in the trailer sees Mike literally fleeing.

We see him running off through Colombian streets as production chases after him.

Is he a non-toxic Paul Staehle? Only time will tell.

Deavan Clegg Body-Shamed After Weight Gain, Defended by 90 Day Fiance Fans

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way alum Deavan Clegg has dealt with a lot.

A divorce, a recent tragedy, a messy lawsuit brought against her by a notorious hellclown, and now this:

Deavan was minding her own business when some obnoxious body-shaming trolls decided to go after her recent weight gain.

She didn’t have to clap back. Fans did it for her — and so did some people who would never describe themselves as her fans.

On Friday, Deavan Clegg graced the grand opening of Flawless Medical Spa in Las Vegas.

She ahd boyfriend Topher Park on her arm, posing together on the red carpet after well over a year of dating.

Deavan strutted in a creamy beige dress, showing off her tattoos.

Deavan spoke during the event, relating how a combination of factors led to her weight gain.

During the pandemic, she gained almost 45 pounds.

Stress sources included her divorce from Jihoon Lee and Deavan’s recent miscarriage with Topher.

Deavan shared that she has lost 15 pounds since then and is now embracing her curves.

She still intends to lose weight, but isn’t hating herself or her body either.

Deavan revealed that her secrets to remaining confident are: “Botox, filler, family, and a good man!”

Deavan Clegg body shamed IG October 2021

However, the world is full of cruel people with no brains and no sense of right and wrong.

A blogger hoping to get clout announced that “Deavan needs to lay off the chips and ice cream.”

That’s not generally how weight gain happens in real life, but what does reality matter when your goal is to be mean?

Fortunately, it’s 2021 and not 2011, 2001, or 1991.

A lot of people are more aware of how the human body works and are sick of normal human bodies being the butt of people’s jokes.

More to the point, a lot of people are more aware that it doesn’t matter what someone else’s flesh prison looks like.

Because of this, more enlightened 90 Day Fiance fans jumped to Deavan’s defense — whether they like her personally or not.

“Hey don’t hate on the chips and ice cream,” wrote one commenter.

That same commenter continued with the suggestion that “she needs a more form fitting dress.”

“I think Deavon is a nice size!” praised another. “Every woman is not bone skinny.”

“If she goes to the plastic surgeon,” that commenter predicted, “then she will be criticized for that too.”

That commenter concluded: “It’s not easy losing and maintaining your weight sometimes. It might be water retention.”

“Who cares about her weight,” a commenter sagely spoke up. “She can be who she wants to be.”

“The issue here is what she’s wearing. The color, the fabric, the fit is all wrong,” opined another.

That commenter then added shadily: “I think she’s lovely otherwise…. physically anyway lol.”

“You’re beautiful! That’s all I have to say about this photo!” praised another commenter, aiming their words at Deavan herself.

“She looks better actually the weight makes her face a lil better,” another suggested.

“Love her curves,” an additional fan praised.

“Women need to stop with the weight comments,” one commenter spoke up.

“It’s very difficult for a ton of people with the hormones and the cycles and diseases we get,” the comment continued.

That comment concluded: “Just Stop already.”

“I don’t like deaven at all,” one began.

“But,” the non-fan continued, “these comments on here are exactly why she edits her photos so much.”

That commenter concluded: “to make herself look like she’s super thin and a completely different person “

“She looks just fine,” wrote another. “Don’t fat shame.”

There were also body-shamers, tattoo-shamers, and other general weirdos in the comments all across social media.

Social progress doesn’t happen all at once. Some people aren’t interested in being good.

90 Day Fiance Before The 90 Days: Meet the Season 5 Couples!

Seven new couples.

One — and only one — familiar face.

Season 5 of 90 Day Fiance: Before The 90 Days is promising all of that and more.

Production has announced the new stars of the upcoming season.

You can read all of their details — and get a head start on making heads or tails of their drama — below.

No, we don’t know why, out of seven couples, three include an American partner from Michigan, specifically.

Perhaps that is just one of life’s mysteries.

What’s not a mystery is when this messy, Michigan-filled season will begin.

Season 5 will premiere on TLC on December 12.

1. Ben and Mahogany

Ben and mahogany for 90 day fiance before the 90 days season 5
Ben is a 52-year-old from Michigan. Mahogany is a 24-year-old from Peru. After he was featured in a fitness magazine, he caught Mahogany’s eye and received a DM from her.

2. Ben has a lot of baggage

Ben says that jesus will bridge their age gap
He was once a married pastor in a very strict Christian community that he ultimately left behind, but he is still a Christian — and believes that it’s God’s will that he get with this Peruvian beauty who is less than half his age.

3. Red flags?

Ben has never actually spoken with mahogany on video
But he and Mahogany have never video chatted, at all. His friends are alarmed by what they see as signs that he may be being used or potentially catfished, and so far, we have zero glimpses of the two of them together. For what it’s worth, Mahogany was real enough for TLC provide a photo of her with her casting announcement.

4. Caleb and Alina

Caleb and alina 90 day fiance before the 90 days season 5
Caleb is a 28-year-old from Arizona. Alina is a 27-year-old from St. Petersberg, Russia. They were actually online friends as teens, lost touch over the years, and then coincidentally saw each other on a dating app when Caleb was planning a trip to Russia. While the trip never happened, their rekindled friendship took a turn for the romantic.

5. Caleb is an active guy

Caleb jogs in the trailer
He knows he and Alina could face judgment for their relationship, because she is a little person, and there are always questions when someone who is able bodied (and especially good-looking) dates someone who is disabled. Even friends might ask if he’s a chaser, for example, who fetishizes her disability, though their history of friendship may put some minds at ease.

6. Alina’s fear is almost the opposite

Alina is all dressed up in the trailer
She cannot stand or walk for long periods of time due to her disability, and there are concerns of how her disability will mesh with Caleb’s active lifestyle. Still, Alina fears that Steven seeing her in her wheelchair at the airport will be too much for him to handle.

Tim Malcolm Claps Back at Jesse Meester: He’s a Clown and a Narcissistic Bully!

When we said that we wanted to see some franchise singles paired up, this is so not what we had in mind.

Jesse Meester and Jeniffer Tarazona’s relationship will play out on this upcoming season of 90 Day: Bares All.

In teasing the season, Jesse took an alarmingly popular and downright homophobic jab at Tim Malcolm, Jeniffer’s ex.

With a lot of resignation, Tim is responding to Jesse’s smarmy nonsense as classily as he can.

To the collective horror of the 90 Day Fiance fandom, Jesse Meester and Jeniffer Tarazona are together.

Their upcoming season will spare no details, even showing them showering together.

While it will certainly be an attractive sight … it’s not the body, but the mind, that has fans turned off.

As part of the normal internal press tour to promote the new season, Shaun Robinson spoke to Jesse on 90 Day: Bares All.

One of the hot topics during Jeniffer’s season was that she and Tim never actually had sex with each other.

There were some inexcusable comments from fans at that time. Jesse clearly feels the same way.

“I think it’s pretty obvious,” Jesse said with a knowing smirk when Shaun asked what was up with that.

The implication there is that Jesse is claiming that Tim is gay, and therefore not attracted to women.

Jesse might not realize this, but some people have standards before sexual intimacy — yes, even men!

Jesse didn’t stop there, because of course he didn’t.

Instead, he added that Tim had spoken about him to Jeniffer, as if trying to set them up.

But he didn’t say that it was matchmaking — instead, Jesse claimed that Tim was likely just admiring him.

“He’s a clown, I could care less about what he thinks of me,” Tim said dismissively on this weekend’s 90 Day: Bares All.

There, Shaun rolled the clip for him and gave him the opportunity to shoot down Jesse’s egotistical nonsense.

“He’s just a bully,” Tim noted.

“I can’t stand bullies, for one, because I was bullied a lot as a kid,” Tim pointed out.

“So,” he continued, “he really struck a nerve with me.”

“I’m not a s–t stirrer,” Tim said. “I don’t really go around picking fights with people.”

“But that guy has just always rubbed me the wrong way,” Tim said, “something about him.”

Almost everyone in the fandom would say the same, Tim.

“He just always has that used car salesman vibe about him,” he continued, “just like a shyster.”

Tim denied having discussed Jesse for any reason with Jeniffer.

He also delved into the all-too-frequent questions about why he didn’t immediately bone Jeniffer.

His answer? He’s a grown adult man.

Tim also added that he was heartbroken at the time when he went to be with Jeniffer.

That was likely one of multiple factors that prevented their relationship from working out.

But he also wasn’t entirely in the mood … a feeling that only increased when Tim got to know Jeniffer better.

Oh yes — Tim had harsh words to say about Jesse and Jeniffer alike.

But he thinks that they could be very happy together … for a little while.

Why? Because they’re a perfect match.

“They seem like the perfect match for each other,” Tim said.

“They’re both self-centered, kind of egotistical, narcissistic,” he described.

“They’ll be a great match until it fizzles out,” Tim predicted.

“I would put my bottom dollar that you won’t ever see them together long-term,” Tim announced.

“And,” he shaded, “he better have a big wallet to keep her happy.”

We’ll find out soon enough!

Asuelu Pulaa Reveals INSANE Amount of Money He’s Sent to His Mom: Sorry Kalani!

For years, viewers have watched Kalani Faagata feud with Asuelu Pulaa’s sister, Tammy.

Kalani hasn’t wanted conflict. She just wants to have a healthy marriage and family with her husband.

Most of the problems seem to arise from clashing over how much money — if any — Asuelu pays to his mother.

Now, Asuelu is opening up about how long he’s been making these payments, and how much it is now.

As guests on this weekend’s new episode of 90 Day: Bares All, Kalani and Asuelu spoke to Shaun Robinson.

Kalani detailed exactly why she had such a problem with Asuelu’s family wanting to see Asuelu and the kids but not her.

This is when Shaun asked if most of their conflict is about money — the couples’ money that his family covets.

“I think Tammy just doesn’t like what Asuelu gives,” Kalani began.

“Because,” she explained, “she has given a lot in the past.”

Kalani added: “I think that now that he’s in America, she’s trying to pass that off onto him.”

“I don’t think Asuelu would have survived growing up without her money,” Kalani revealed.

She added: “He basically lived off of Tammy’s money when he was in Samoa.”

And now, they explain, Tammy feels that Asuelu needs to pay that back — not to her, but to their mother.

“I worked before I came here,” Asuelu shared.

He added that he “gave her my whole check” when he worked back in Samoa.

For years, he paid his mother $600-$700 a month, amounting to $15,000 at least.

Additionally, Kalani revealed, Asuelu had cleaned out his bank account and savings before coming to America.

Then, despite already having a child with Kalani, he handed over that money to his mother, Lesina.

“Which we fought over,” Kalani shared, “becuase I thought that he should have brought it to [baby Oliver].”

That money could have gone to support Asuelu’s baby and family.

Asuelu explained that this is how “household,” “culture,” and “life” work in Samoa.

“When we success in life,” Asuelu reasoned, “we need to [be] taking care of our parents and our family.”

But Kalani had something illuminating to add, because not all of that money goes to groceries or bills.

“It’s also bingo money, though,” Kalani revealed.

“Bingo money, church fundraiser, church events,” she listed as ways that money sent to Lesina is spent.

Obviously, once money is donated to someone in need, it is theirs to spend.

But normally, seeing someone spend significant portions of donated money on things totally outside of their home that are not necessities is a sign.

A sign that they don’t really need the money, or that they don’t know what to do when they receive it.

Everyone needs some quality of life in order to live, but that doesn’t mean that they need to be a big spender at social events.

That’s something you do for social clout.

“Everyone wants to take care of their parents,” Kalani reasoned, “but not to the degree that they do it.”

Varya Malina Begs 90 Day Fiance Fans to Help Convicted Abuser Geoffrey Paschel: Send Him Money!

The majority of the 90 Day Fiance fandom rejoiced when Geoffrey Paschel was convicted.

Those of us who followed the story closely, were familiar with his history, and watched the trial had wanted to see justice done.

Not everyone is happy with this happy ending, however.

Geoffrey’s on-screen love interest, Varya Malina, is still supporting him — and hopes to hoodwink others into doing the same.

Geoffrey was convicted by a jury of his peers on all three charges that he faced.

He was convicted for a domestic assault, for kidnapping, and for interfering with a 911 call.

The charges stemmed from a brutal incident in June of 2019 when he violently attacked his then-fiancee, Kristen Wilson.

Kristen Wilson testifies as Geoffrey Paschel trial

For reasons of their own, production and TLC did not opt to explain to viewers why Geoffrey was not part of his season’s Tell All.

This meant that many viewers who did not follow news of the show, here at THG or elsewhere, had no idea what charges Geoffrey was facing.

Meanwhile, those of us who followed the story of his arrest and his history of very similar accusations from ex-wives and ex-girlfriends saw a clearer picture.

Knowing Geoffrey for who and what he is, many 90 Day Fiance fans have worried for Varya.

On the one hand, it’s absolutely true that most serial abusers will delay abusing a new partner, often with the goal of discrediting an ex.

Contrary to what so many domestic abusers claim, they are not losing control — they choose when to lose control.

Even so, Varya played coy with fans, even at a time when she must have been aware of the serious charges against Geoffrey.

She would post vague Instagram updates, seemingly refusing to confirm whether she was still with him or not.

Then, after the verdict was announced, Varya deleted her Instagram.

Varya has now returned to Instagram and made a statement.

Unfortunately, it is not good news.

Instead, she is showing support for Geoffrey … and trying to get fans to donate, presumably to help with his appeal.

90 day fiance before: geoffrey scolds varya

“For the past 2.5 years, we have had so many ups and downs,” Varya began.

“In our relationship, there were times of love and disappointment,” she wrote.

Varya continued: “Cowardice and heroism, betrayal and forgiveness.”

“But there wasn’t ever a place for indifference,” Varya recalled.

“Right now, I ask all people who are also concerned about Geoffrey to unite and help the justice to be served,” she asked.

(Just to clarify, justice was served with his conviction, and his sentencing is scheduled for early December)

“His son Dakota, on behalf of the whole family, started fund raising,” Varya acknowledged.

“By this, we all are giving Geoffrey an opportunity to clear his name,” she wrote. Gross!

“And,” Varya continued, “we are giving the children who have already been traumatized by social media cruelty, a chance to have their dad by their side when they need him.”

Varya Malina IG plea to help Geoffrey Paschel (with Natalie Mordovtseva comment)

Yeah, social media cruelty is likely not why Geoffrey’s kids are traumatized.

“I’m thankful to each of you who have reached out to me and asked how you can help,” Varya expressed.

She concluded her post by writing: “This is how you can do it:”

While we can understand that Geoffrey is likely an adept manipulator, Varya is a grown woman and this is disappointing.

We can feel sorry for Geoffrey’s children for many reasons and approach their misplaced sympathies with nuance.

However, if anyone is donating money, surely it should be to the actual victim of this vicious assault, and not to the perpetrator.

Unfortunately, Varya was not even the only Russian-speaking woman from 90 Day Fiance to support Geoffrey and then delete her Instagram.

She is not the only one to return to Instagram and inexplicably continue to support Geoffrey.

We are referring, of course, to Natalie Mordovtseva.

“Love you guys,” Natalie wrote as a comment below Varya’s post.

That is … a distressing comment, especially to many of Natalie’s fans.

Some of those fans are now former fans. There are some lines that should never be crossed.

It seems that Natalie struck up a friendship with Varya and will support her blindly through whatever she does.

That is just unpleasant to see, especially since so many of Natalie’s (some former) fans felt that she dodged a bullet with Mike.

Supporting your friend does not mean encouraging dangerous choices or including her abusive partner in your “love.” It just doesn’t.

90 Day Fiance The Other Way Recap: Sumit Singh’s Mom Teaches Jenny Slatten to Clean Her Own Home!

On 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way Season 3, Episode 8, the couples grappled with cheating, with in-laws, and with their conflicting plans for the future.

Sumit and Jenny finally got his parents to budge … but the price of being “accepted” by his family could be too much for Jenny.

And that might be the whole point, Jenny fears.

Ariela and Avi are in New Jersey for his hernia surgery, but her family reminds her that this could be the best place for her son to grow up.

Corey pleads with Evelin for forgiveness, but she can’t process this while he’s still lurking around.

Ellie and Victor have a lot to do before his house is livable again, and that means spending a lot of money — Ellie’s money.

Plus, there’s that whole cheating thing to work out.

Kenneth and Armando are great dads together, but they’re not quite on the same page when it comes to growing their family.

Steven’s hypocrisy so annoys Alina that she tells her mother about his sexual history.

1. Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh

Jenny slatten hugs deepali how are you
Jenny meets up with Deepali, one of a small number of female friends whom she has made in India. We should keep in mind that she was only with Sumit for so long before the COVID-19 pandemic forced everyone into lockdown, and that between that, being an outsider, and moving while in India, it’s hard to make friends as an adult. But it’s good that she has Deepali, because Jenny wants to talk about what Sumit’s parents have planned.

2. Deepali is totally Team Jenny & Sumit, but …

Deepali but i wont say that sumits mother is wrong
As much as she loves her friends as a couple, she knows where Sumit’s parents are coming from because hers would likely say the same if she had an age gap like theirs.

3. She can, at least, reassure Jenny

Deepali to jenny slatten thats i think a cultural difference mil
When Deepali was married, she tells Jenny, her mother-in-law moved in with them for about half a year. She explains that this is normal in India because families are so interlocked. This doesn’t entirely address Jenny’s concerns, but it does reassure her that this isn’t a hostile move in the exact same way that it would be in the United States. (In the US, a mother-in-law or frankly a mother announcing that she’s going to live with you and tell you exactly how to live your life would be a declaration of war, and the common sense response would be to seriously discuss going no-contact with her)

4. Sumit is way ahead of her

Sumit singh they can sleep in our bedroom
Back at home, they have ordered a new set of furniture to create a guest room with brand new cabinets and a brand new bed … but Sumit worries that it’s not enough, and says that they should offer his parents their bedroom if that will make them more comfortable. Jenny privately tells the camera that she hopes that Sahna and Anil will decline.

5. Sumit says that adapting to some cultural norms could help

Sumit singh waking up early
Unfortunately, one of those norms is waking up extremely early — before dawn, at 5 or 6 in the morning.

6. Jenny’s reaction is understandable

Jenny slatten does not want to wake up before dawn for no reason
It’s not that Americans don’t wake up that early. We absolutely do — if it’s part of our chosen routine, or if we have kids, or if we ARE kids going to school, or of course if we’re being paid to get up early for work. But Jenny has been enjoying living her life happily after many years of working hard, and the idea of sacrificing this happiness to appease Sumit’s parents is really not welcome.

Jenny Slatten Despairs as Sumit Singh’s Mom Moves In: I Can’t Take This!

On last weekend’s episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, Jenny and Sumit went to family counseling.

There, Sumit’s mother resolved that she would move in with them.

Jenny predicted at the time that this wasn’t a step towards accepting her, but a new means of tormenting her.

Judging by this sneak peek, she was absolutely right.

In this sneak peek for Season 3, Episode 8, Sahna Singh asks for a tour of the home.

62-year-old Jenny Slatten and 33-year-old Sumit Singh at first seem happy to oblige … but then they reach the kitchen.

“This is where all the cooking happens,” Jenny announces as they enter the room.

We are then treated to just so many shots of the countertops being cluttered and the sink being, well, in need of a bit of cleaning.

It’s their house, so of course Jenny and Sumit get to decide how full they want their countertops to be.

But when Sahna and Anil come to stay, they effectively decided that the couple would be living by their rules.

After the montage of unflattering looks at the kitchen, Sahna speaks.

She tells them about how things should be stored.

Here’s a hint: not out in the open.

Sahna also says that dishes should be put away after they are washed instead of left out where they dry.

One imagines that Jenny has had to adapt to an entirely different kitchen setup than she is accustomed to in the United States.

But finding a system that works for her and for Sumit is not the same as finding something that works for Sahna. Clearly.

“Clean, neat and clean,” Anil says encouragingly.

This is when Sahna speaks about the floors in the kitchen, encouraging Jenny to grab a broom.

The result is that we then see three family members watching while Jenny sweeps her kitchen under their supervision.

Jenny also speaks to the confessional camera about this undignified experience.

“She’s going through my kitchen and finding every single thing wrong,” she laments.

Jenny describes Sahna “checking every single corner, moving my stuff around, making me clean and sweep.”

“Well, God damn, if this isn’t going the exact way I knew it would,” Jenny remarks.

Jenny immediately expressed the concern on the last episode that this was a ploy to allow Sahna to make her miserable.

“I’m just pissed,” she expresses. “It’s my kitchen.”

Sahna speaks at length to the camera about her ideas about housekeeping.

“Cleaning and maintaining the entire house is our daily job,” she says.

Sahna does not have high hopes that her would-be daughter-in-law will adapt to her demands.

Sahna laments that Jenny is “past the age for learning.”

As such, she believes that she will be incapable of making this adjustment.

We have to say, it looks like Jenny is right about her motives.

Of course, Sumit — who is not being asked to do any of this cleaning — seems to be enjoying it.

“I’m not saying Jenny don’t do a good job,” he clarifies to the camera.

“But,” Sumit continues, “my mom is asking her to do better than whatever she’s doing. So, I like it.”

While many viewers might personally agree with Sahna’s preferences for a tidy kitchen … we can acknowledge that it is Jenny’s kitchen.

It’s for her and Sumit to decide how to keep and maintain their home and how to spend their time.

But since for now they have decided to invite Sahna into their home in this manner, we suppose that this means deciding to let her call the shots … for now.

Natalie Mordovtseva Deletes Instagram After Supporting Convicted Abuser Geoffrey Paschel

After many delays to his trial, Geoffrey Paschel was found guilty of a brutal domestic assault.

90 Day Fiance fans and even some of his erstwhile castmates celebrated this welcome news.

Shockingly, Natalie Mordovtseva reacted with sadness at seeing justice done.

She immediately faced intense backlash and has fled Instagram, deleting her profile, all in defense of one terrible man.

In June of 2019, Geoffrey Paschel attacked his then-fiancee Kristen Wilson, a fourth grade teacher, in her home.

He beat her, dragged her throughout her house, and smashed her face into various hard surfaces, leaving her body covered in gruesome injuries.

Geoffrey prevented Kristen from calling for help. Eventually, she was able to escape, fleeing to a neighbor’s home.

Geoffrey was convicted for domestic violence, for kidnapping, and for interfering with an emergency call.

He awaits sentencing in early December, and is facing potential prison time of 12 to 20 years without parole.

Kristen’s courage to press charges and testify against him was not in vain.

Geoffrey Paschel found guilty of domestic assault

Multiple 90 Day Fiance stars joined thousands of fans in celebrating the news.

Deavan Clegg, herself a survivor of domestic violence, expressed relief at the conviction.

But Geoffrey’s on-screen love interest, Varya Malina, deleted her Instagram following the news.

Varya Malina IG gone after Geoffrey Paschel conviction

For a long time, fans had feared that despite her insistence upon playing coy on social media, she was still with Geoffrey.

That was alarming because people feared for her safety but also because it made fans worried about her judgment.

Meanwhile, viewers had already worried about the judgment of Natalie Mordovtseva, but few had imagined anything like this.

Natalie had an inexplicable and even affectionate reaction to Geoffrey’s well-deserved conviction.

“I couldn’t believe yesterday tv news,” the upcoming 90 Day: The Single Life star wrote.

“I will pray for you @geoffrey.paschel,” Natalie announced.

Natalie Mordovtseva message

That was, to be frank, stunning.

Fans were uncomfortable enough when Natalie made an April Fool’s Day video with Geoffrey back in April.

At the time, most who were aware of it assumed that she simply had no idea what sort of man Geoffrey truly was.

“We all have our own stories,” Natalie later wrote. “We all have suffered.”

She claimed: “We all are a little broken and a little shattered inside.”

Natalie incorrectly asserted: “No matter what we have gone through it does not give us the right to disrespect or disregard others on the same journey.”

Natalie Mordovtseva is less than interested in car engines

Some of her more sensible followers replied with their horror and contempt.

“You need to do some soul searching,” one gently advised her.

Another bluntly wrote: “I don’t pray for abusers.”

Natalie Mordovtseva - Okay, I was wrong

Things became even worse when Natalie unwisely held an Instagram Q&A.

“Why do you support someone who has been found guilty of such horrendous DV crimes?” a fan asked.

“I got many negative comments about me supporting Geoffrey,” Natalie answered. “I think there’s always two sides.”

Geoffrey Paschel at trial

Yes, there are two sides.

One side is Geoffrey’s victim — not the first to accuse him of this, but the first to get justice for it.

The other side is the man who beat the everloving crap out of his former fiancee. That man is Geoffrey Paschel.

Kristen Wilson testifies as Geoffrey Paschel trial

Why would Natalie disregard Geoffrey’s true nature (which was no secret to anyone with five seconds and Google access) and his latest victim?

According to her, it was because of her friendship with Varya … which somehow robbed her of her senses.

“I love this girl and I will always be on her side no matter what,” Natalie wrote on Instagram in reference to Varya.

“You can kill me for this,” Natalie continued. “I don’t care.”

In her tags, she admitted that she was not “objectif” on the subject.

One questions why she decided to publicly weigh in at all since she had such a catastrophically bad take.

Natalie Mordovtseva pets her rat

Clearly, the ongoing backlash got to Natalie.

Unfortunately, instead of publicly walking back her prayers and support for a violent monster, she chose another route.

Natalie deleted her Instagram, following Varya’s footsteps.

Natalie Mordovtseva - I just want family and child (The Single Life s2 preview)

That is a very odd choice for someone who is about to appear on reality TV again.

90 Day: The Single Life premieres its second season on Discovery Plus in less than one month.

Will she reactivate her Instagram on November 12, or just not participate in the social media side of her own season?

Geoffrey Paschel trial day one (Kristen Wilson on the stand)

One of the bad takes about Geoffrey came from his own account, allegedly written by his son, Dakota.

The post — now deleted, and seen here in a screenshot captured by 90 Day Fiance blogger John Yates — was a fundraising plea.

Presumably, the goal was to raise money for some sort of appeal in order to subvert justice and help Geoffrey avoid his well-deserved fate.

Geoffrey Paschel IG plea for fundraising from son Dakota

We have to remember that many abusers are skilled manipulators, using both fear and lies to make those around them sympathize with them.

Children of horrible people — from abusers to serial killers — sometimes feel misplaced sympathy for people who do not deserve it.

It may take years of therapy before Geoffrey’s children (the ones in his life, anyway) can admit to themselves what sort of man he truly is.

Jesse Meester and Jeniffer Tarazona Unveil Relationship on 90 Day The Single Life

Fans were on an emotional roller coaster as they watched the Season 2 trailer for 90 Day Fiance: The Single Life.

Among many other surprises, it was revealed that Jesse Meester and Jeniffer Tarazona are dating.

Both stars previously appeared on the franchise while dating Americans. Neither relationship worked out.

But … are viewers ready to watch these two date? To watch Jesse date anyone?

Jeniffer Tarazona and Jesse Meester header pic

Early this summer, we reported that Jesse Meester and Jeniffer Tarazona were dating.

At first, the news seemed totally random … until we learned that they were filming for The Single Life.

For years, we’ve openly wished for a matchmaker spinoff to pair up franchise stars. Sadly, we wished on a cursed monkey’s paw.

Jesse Meester - this beauty (The Single Life s2 preview)

Jesse Meester is a handsome guy, but the Dutch reality star is best known for his most toxic traits.

His very public fights with Darcey, playing games with her emotions, disgusted viewers during their relationship.

The guy is also wildly absorbed with himself … something very apparent in this trailer.

Jesse Meester showers (The Single Life promo)

Clearly, it wouldn’t be Jesse on reality TV without a scene of him showering.

This time, he is no alone, however.

In the Season 2 trailer that dropped last week, he has some very attractive company.

Jesse Meester legs in the shower (The Single Life promo)

Even those of us who knew that he had been dating Jeniffer weren’t sure what we were seeing.

After all, these shows film so many months in advance of airing.

Jesse could be getting run through by a myriad of ladies before he and Jeniffer end up together.

Jesse Meester in a bathrobe (The Single Life promo)

But, at least in the trailer, it’s all about the two of them.

They make out while Jesse openly gropes Jeniffer’s butt.

Discovery Plus knows that their audience skews younger and less prudish than TLC’s, and you can see that in their content.

Jesse Meester makes out with Jeniffer Tarazona (The Single Life s2 preview)

This kind of butt grab might have some viewers on TLC clutching their proverbial pearls at the scandal of it all.

But that doesn’t mean that younger audiences are loving what they’re seeing.

It’s not the butt grab, it’s the guy doing the grabbing that has fans uncomfortable.

Jesse Meester claims he's falling in love (The Single Life promo)

In the trailer, we see Jesse straight up tell Jeniffer that he feels like he’s falling in love with her.

Now, that’s not totally out of bounds after a few months of dating.

But to anyone who remembers his toxic romance with Darcey, his every word is a red flag.

Jeniffer Tarazona falls for Jesse Meester (The Single Life s2 preview)

Jeniffer says that dating her ex, Tim Malcolm, was a bit of a disaster.

It’s true that they got along reasonably well, but they just didn’t click as a couple.

In the trailer, she admits that she can see herself falling in love with Jesse.

Jeniffer Tarazona could fall in love with Jesse (The Single Life promo)

Fortunately, Jeniffer doesn’t sound as head-over-heels and lovestruck as Jesse would have us believe that he is.

She’s being cautious, at least from what we can hear, and weighing her options.

In fact, she’s not only dating Jesse.

Jeniffer Tarazona is seeing someone else too (The Single Life promo)

She’s dating someone else, a mystery figure — and a good-looking one at that.

Jeniffer is smart to consider the possibilties, given Jesse’s history and his personality.

But just because we know so much about Jesse doesn’t mean that the alternative is any better.

Jeniffer Tarazona dates another man (The Single Life s2 preview)

We’ll likely learn much more in the coming weeks and months.

The Single Life Season 2 premieres on Discovery Plus on November 12.

From there, we’ll all be on a journey to watch Jeniffer and Jesse — and their castmates — try their hand at dating again.

Elizabeth Potthast’s Sister Becky Taunts Andrei Castravet, Reignites 90 Day Fiance Family Feud

At the end of last season of 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After?, the Potthast family was in tatters.

Andrei Castravet’s foray into the family business sent Libby and her siblings at war with one another, with Andrei the only victor.

The chaos continued on the Tell All and, more recently, on 90 Day Bares All.

Now, Libby’s sister Becky is making it clear that the animosity hasn’t died down in the least.

HEA 6x15 preview - Becky feels iced out of the business

On Instagram, Becky Lichtwerch — known to many of us as Becky Potthast, sister of Elizabeth Potthast — was stirring the pot.

She took to her Instagram Stories to share a screenshot of a taunting message that she sent to her brother-in-law, Andrei.

Though some of the family has been iced out of decision-making, Becky is still part of the family business … and proud of her work.

Elizabeth Potthast meets up with sisters Jenn and Becky

“Listed my dads house and got a full price offer day 1,” Becky texted to Andrei.

Her text continued: “Put that in your pipe and smoke it !”

It’s unclear if that extremely old-fashioned line was for our benefit or Andrei’s.

Becky Potthast IG text taunting Andrei about house sale

“Just a friendly reminder: My dad, my family business,’ Becky captioned the screenshot.

In other words, she is reminding people that she still has her job and won’t be driven out by her brother-in-law.

She’s also reminding everyone that the family feud is still very much on.

Becky explains why the luggage needs to be stored

Instagram Stories do not have comments pages like regular posts do.

But since they can be screenshotted and passed around elsewhere on social media, they can certainly get discussions going.

In this case … some people aren’t sure if Becky actually hates Andrei as much as she wants us to think.

Becky Potthast accurately describes Andrei as a manipulator

“This. Is. All. Fake. They’re desperate to stay relevant,” accused one Reddit denizen.

“Oh absolutely! I think they get along splendidly (Minus Charlie!! LOL)!!” another commenter agreed.

The second redditor added: “They laughing all the way to the bank!!”

Becky Potthast objects on 90 Day: Bares All

“Bragging about being a good realtor because you sold a house fast in Florida right now is like claiming to be a great fisherman because you caught a fish that was in a bathtub,” one quipped.

“A full price offer in this economy isn’t much to brag about,” suggested another commenter.

That redditor explained: “Houses around here are going 100k over asking.”

Becky Potthast and Jenn Potthast speak to the camera

Right now, billion dollar companies are buying up numerous homes in the same neighborhood to artificially inflate prices.

On top of decades of wage stagnation, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the already astronomical issues of housing prices and income inequality, and things are bleak.

We’re sure that many houses are selling quickly and for well over their asking prices. But … that’s hard to celebrate.

HEA 6x07 sneak peek - Elizabeth vs Becky 01 of 02

But most of the focus has less to do with the mechanics of the Potthast family business and more about the drama.

The Potthast siblings either cannot play along … or are pretending to have a lot more tension than they really do.

(Except with Charlie and his wife … that feud seems to be extremely real)

Becky Potthast and Thomas don't like Andrei's presumptive attitude

The purpose, everyone supposes, is to angle for a Potthast family spinoff along the lines of The Family Chantel or Darcey & Stacey.

That kind of gig can be lucrative, and help cement the family into the franchise without worrying each year about whether they’re part of the cast.

Some fans don’t want to see that. Others absolutely do.

Becky Potthast caused problems on purpose

Truth be told, Becky is my literal favorite member of the Potthast family.

(The worst would have to be the family’s homophobic mother — an easy choice)

But even I know that getting a spinoff could mean risking running out of steam on this feud (real or fake) … or fracturing the family for good.

Corey Rathgeber to 90 Day Fiance Fans: STOP Telling Me to Date Jenny from Peru! I Love Evelin!!

On this weekend’s episode of 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way, there was heartbreak in the air.

Corey Rathgeber came clean to Evelin Villegas about Jenny in Peru — the whole truth, this time.

Evelin was shattered and wanted a divorce.

Some fans have been telling Corey that he should be with Jenny. Corey is putting a firm stop to that — too firm, even.

Late Tuesday evening, Corey Rathgeber took to Instagram for a very emotional post.

“I would like to address the situation with the other girl that appeared on [the] last episode,” he began.

And that girl … was Jenny from Peru.

Jenny - hello, Corey

“I don’t even want to say her name,” Corey confessed.

He explained “because it disappoints and disgusts me [every time] I hear it.”

“I made a big mistake,” Corey admitted, “and blindsided the one I love more than anything.”

Corey Rathgeber - hello, Jenny

“I am ashamed by the mistakes and harm I have made towards Evelin,” Corey expressed.

“To everyone who says I deserve this ‘other person,'” he addressed, “you don’t even know her.”

“You saw her in one scene,” Corey pointed out.

Corey Rathgeber isn't telling Evelin everything about Jenny

Corey told his followers: “I can tell you she was never ‘for me.'”

“What I did was wrong,” he affirmed, “and very selfish.”

“I never had any feelings for this other person,” Corey insisted, “and I never intended to be with her.”

Corey Rathgeber throwback selfie with Jenny in Peru

“I never was or will be with this other person,” Corey wrote of Jenny from Peru.

“Being with her was my biggest mistake ever,” he announced.

“And,” Corey continued, “I will be forever sorry for these actions.”

Corey Rathgeber says his brother got married for $5,000

“I know when [you] watch [TV] it’s hard to see Evelin as a loving and caring person,” Corey acknowledged.

“The reality [is] she’s very much the opposite” of how fans perceived her, he insisted.

“She has always been there for me,” Corey declared, “and truly is an amazing individual.”

Coray Rathgeber "with this Jenny in Peru"

Corey wrote that this was true “even during my hardest times.”

“She has always loved and cared for me more than anyone will understand,” he praised.

“I just want to thank you,” Corey wrote, tagging Evelin.

Corey Rathgeber IG anti-Jenny rant never loved her, etc

“[You] are the world to me,” Corey gushed.

“And thank you for all the love, support, friendship, care, and happiness you have given me over these 7 plus years!” he raved.

“Again,” Corey concluded, “I am so very much sorry.”

Corey Rathgeber IG apologizes for deleted anti-Jenny rant

“Pardon me for my bad attitude and reaction I did yesterday,” Corey wrote on Wednesday after deleting his previous post.

“I am an imperfect being,” he acknowledged, “but this does not justify the mistakes that I have made.”

“However,” Corey vowed, “I will continue to work on becoming the best person I can be.”

Corey Rathgeber returned to Ecuador after a month ... then COVID hit

So, to quickly recap, Corey totally screwed up with several choices in his own love life.

Then he threw the girl he sincerely dated for weeks while in Peru — meeting her family, making plans to live together — under the bus.

He did all of that to clap back at fans who, let’s face it, have decided that they hate Evelin and so they were encouraging her to get with Jenny.

But then, whoops, the next day, Corey realized that he had been very unkind to Jenny.

He had gone overboard, and was clearly getting called out on it.

So he deleted that post and issued yet another apology. Messy, messy, messy.

90 Day Fiance Fans Protest Big Ed Brown Casting: Fire "Big Pred"!

Big Ed Brown was a runaway meme and a smash success with his debut on 90 Day Fiance.

Now, he is set to return for yet another season, this time on The Single Life Season 2.

In the wake of Geoffrey Paschel’s conviction, though, fans are more leery than ever of the franchise filming terrible men.

Nicknaming him Big Pred, they want him off of their screens and out of the franchise.

Big Ed Brown claims that he deserves love (The Single Life s2 preview)

Lordakeet recently released a TikTok laying out her previously mentioned allegations against Ed Brown.

In 2016, she received an internship for school.

There, she says, she met the man who was supposed to be her mentory.

Lordakeet tiktok - 4 years later he shows up on 90 Day Fiance (Big Ed brown)

Lordakeet accuses Ed of both “sexually harassing” and “assaulting” her.

Understandably, due to possible legal issues as well as TikTok’s extremely strict rules, she does not specify.

And, honestly, the details are important info for courtrooms and prosecutor’s offices, not for reality TV viewers.

She describes ending up hospitalized for a time and then finally coming forward to the owners of the company.

Allegedly, the business owners were unwilling to take action because Ed was profitable for them.

She left the company, hired an attorney, and worked on recovery and healing … until Big Ed joined 90 Day Fiance and became impossible to ignore.

Big Ed Brown got a bad haircut (The Single Life s2 preview)

When she first spoke out in 2020, fans had only known Ed Brown on their screens for a matter of several weeks.

Her warning was ignored by many, who could not believe (or did not want to believe) that the funny, foolish man on camera was a monster.

These days, however, Big Ed’s reputation is very different.

Viewers saw his treatment of Rosemarie Vega on Ed’s first season.

However, there are elements of the 90 Day Fiance audience who dislike women, people of color, and non-Americans by default.

Rosemarie fits all three of those categories. There were a number of people who frankly did not care what the Silly Mayo Hair Man said to her.

Ed Brown on 90 Day Bares All

However, viewers then saw him repeat many of those same behaviors while dating Liz Woods on Season 1 of The Single Life.

Seeing him go after one low income single mom who was even younger than his daughter was one thing.

Watching him do it again? People began to wonder if he had any interest at all in dating, you know, a grown woman his own age.

Ed was a little more careful with how he treated Liz on camera than he was with Rose after the backlash that he had faced.

It didn’t matter — because Liz took to social media and to the Tell All special to expose him for exactly how he treated her.

The emotional games, disrespecting her boundaries, the cruel threats … the man is not a good partner.

Big Ed Brown interview early May 2021

Hearing Debbie Johnson chew out Ed was the highlight of that season’s Tell All, no question.

You can see why Ed doesn’t date women even close to his own age — they have enough life experience to not put up with his nonsense.

Now, Ed is back for yet another season of The Single Life … and fans are downright disgusted to see him.

With Big Ed’s return, right on the heels of Geoffrey Paschel’s well-deserved conviction, the winds have changed.

“Holy s–t, has anyone else seen this?” a Redditor recently posted.

This, of course, was Lordakeet’s most recent TikTok video about her recollections about Ed.

90 Day The Single Life Ed Brown tries to kiss

“Poor girl. I canceled my discovery + subscription over the new season,” one non-fan commented.

They explained that the cancelation was “because I can’t watch him again.”

That commenter expressed: “My love of 90 day is wearing thin.”

“Her storytime about it if you scroll down is sad,” another lamented.

“This dude is disgusting,” the redditor observed.

“The commenter opined: TLC needs to get its head out of its ass putting these scumbags on tv.”
