Christine Quinn and Emma Hernan Share a Two-Timing Ex: Who is Peter Cornell?

Off screen, Christine Quinn has had to quash disgusting rumors as Selling Sunset casts her back into the spotlight.

Season 4 premiered last week, introducing Emma Hernan to the cast.

She and Christine share unexpected history: a mutual ex, who went unnamed on the show.

Now, we know the name of the man who caused such a stir on the ever-dramatic Netflix series.

Us Weekly reports that the mystery man is Peter Cornell.

Peter is a fellow realtor.

He is also the director of The Oppenheim Group’s sports and entertainment division.

Peter Cornell is a Loyola Marymoun University alum.

He is something of a professional legacy, because he is a third generation real estate agent.

Before Peter got into selling real estate, he was a professional basketball player.

Yes, professional — Peter played in the NBA with the Lakers.

He went on to play for multiple overseas teams.

After a decade spent playing the sport, Peter retired from basketball in 2009.

For more than six years, he has been making a name for himself at the Oppenheim Group’s West Hollywood offices.

Peter has actually appeared on reality television before.

In 2015, viewers of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles may have seen him on their screens.

Peter’s real estate client list includes recognizable names like Kris Humphries.

In fact, upon retiring from playing sports, he took up work as a player agent.

That role allowed him to negotiate on behalf of active players, including prominent members of the NBA.

As Selling Sunset viewers may recall, Christine took time off to have her baby.

During that time, Emma Hernan was brought onto the show.

Emma is new to the series, but not to The Oppenheim Group — where she has worked for years.

Emma wasn’t there to replace Christine, but she did take on some of her workload while she was on maternity leave.

Sometimes, people can be territorial about their work. It happens.

But Christine and Emma’s issues go back further than that.

Christine and Emma have a mutual ex, but it’s not the kind of thing that they’d bond over.

Why?

Because he was dating them both at teh same time.

Apparently, several years ago, Peter was dating both Christine and Emma.

According to Christine, he proposed to her months before he proposed to Emma.

Neither woman knew about the other until they one day came face-to-face while Emma was out with Peter.

That was also how the two women met.

Apparently, Emma and Peter were leaving the gym when Christine showed up, having spotted them.

Or, as she put it, she “caught” them “red-handed.”

At that point, Christine must have simply assumed that Peter was (allegedly) cheating on her.

It was only Emma’s indignant reply that he was her boyfriend that helped them both realize what had happened.

That sounds more awkward than we can imagine.

There were a lot of hurt feelings involved.

While neither woman was at fault, it’s no surprise that there was drama.

You don’t usually score a successful reality TV role if you’re a master of handling situations like a mature adult.

Selling Sunset: Is It Renewed or Canceled by Netflix?

There have been hints about Selling Sunset being renewed for Season 4, but no confirmations yet.

Now, Christine Quinn is answering fan questions about the show’s future.

There is no question that Chrishell Stause took center stage on this season of Selling Sunset — at least as far as headlines were concerned.

But similarly, Christine Quinn was undoubtedly a close second, snagging headlines, interviews, and even a swelteringly hot Maxim cover.

And she has a lot to say about their hit Netflix series’ future.

TMZ caught up with Christine outside of The London Hotel in WeHo.

There, they naturally asked if she could confirm that Selling Sunset is a go for Season 4.

While she doesn’t have any good news for anyone, she doesn’t sound worried.

Christine confirmed to TMZ that she is confident about the show getting renewed for eason 4.

She refers to Selling Sunset as good vibes for her and her “thirsty bitches.”

Though she says that Netflix hasn’t said anything yet, she notes that after Season 3, a renewal is just common sense.

Off of the top of her head, Christine was able to note some stats about how well the show did in Season 3 — info of which Netflix’s decision makers are surely well-aware.

Now, Christine says that she does not expect to see any major changes to the show’s cast.

She explains that the cast is likely to remain the same, joking that “all the bitches are so thirsty they’ll do anything for a dollar.”

Now, there were some cancelation anxieties after the news that Brett left The Oppenheim Group to start his own brokerage.

Brett Oppenheim ran the firm with his twin brother, Jason. It’s kind of a big deal.

But Christine doesn’t want anyone to worry, and suspects that Brett will still show up … even if he’s not part of the firm, he could still easily be part of the show.

Interestingly, this summer, Chrishell Stause posted this photo of her celebrating some sort of secret good news with some castmates.

“Carpe Diem!!” she captioned the pic. “Celebrating good news we can’t tell you about.”

She even tagged the pic with “#SellingSunset” … which sure seems like a major hint of the show’s renewal.

So … does Chrishell know something that Christine does not?

It would be painfully awkward if one of them learned that the show was renewed before the other.

Does this mean that Christine was let go from the cast? Our guess is … no.

Chrishell Stause for DWTS Season 29

In fact, despite her castmates surrounding her and the tag that she used, Chrishell may have been referring to wholly different good news.

She is, after all, on this season of Dancing With The Stars.

Chrishell may have been celebrating her casting news with castmates, unable to share the topic because she was under NDA.

There is also the possibility that the show has been renewed but it’s not public yet, and Christine just said that she didn’t know yet because she wanted to be a good cast member.

Playing coy about renewal status can get you in almost as much trouble as leaking the official news. It’s smart to just not speak up.

Netflix makes some weird, often upsetting decisions about renewals based upon a bizarre business model, but for the sake of the show’s legions of fans, let’s hope for renewal news, soon!

Christine Quinn: Selling Sunset Star STUNS in Alluring Maxim Cover

Selling Sunset has been making headlines everywhere this summer, and the stars are taking full advantage.

Now, Christine Quinn is thirst trapping the world with a jaw-dropping Maxim cover.

Maxim is well known for having an eye for some of the most gorgeous ladies on the planet.

From models plucked from obscurity to celebrities ready to showcase their assets, this is the magazine.

The Down Under iteration of the magazine is no different, and Christine Quinn is a total knockout.

Normally, we would make a joke about how the Selling Sunset star looks as hot as some part of California’s geography at the moment.

But considering the devastating infernos that have raged along the west coast for weeks, reddening the sun and darkening the sky … maybe we’ll skip that.

We will also avoid calling Christine the absolute smokeshow that she clearly is. The puns can wait for the disasters to end … if they can end.

In August, Christine opened up about how vicious some people can be.

When the new season of Selling Sunset aired, there was a spike in “hurtful” social media criticism directed at her.

“People that don’t know me say hurtful things,” she lamented about the online abuse.

“I’m just like, ‘Ugh, whatever,'” Christine characterized her response.

She expressed that she reminds herself: “I don’t know these people.”

It is more difficult to keep that sense of perspective when the hate is originating closer to home.

“But when I hear stuff from other people… That’s upsetting,” Christine confessed.

“Sometimes, it hurts my feelings,” she acknowledged. We would be amazed if it did not.

She added: “Sometimes, it makes me cry.” Many reality stars know that life.

Christine is one of the stars of Selling Sunset, a Netflix reality series following realtors from The Oppenheim Group.

Many shows about real estate follow only one family or focus almost entirely upon the actual houses.

Part of this show’s appeal is its ensemble cast and how thoroughly the show explores their personal lives. Realty is not at the forefront.

Part of what made this season of Selling Sunset so sensational was some very personal drama.

Christine’s frenemy, Chrishell Stause, was recently divorced from her dreamboat of an actor husband, Justin Hartley.

Though both Chrishell and Justin had worked on soap operas for years, Justin is now perhaps best known for his role on This Is Us (even though, in our hearts, he will always be Smallville‘s Green Arrow).

Until the season premiered, almost no one knew the details of how their divorce had gone down.

Breaking down in tears, Chrishell described how Justin had texted her to inform her that he had filed for divorce.

He ended their marriage … with a text message.

While the world has yet to hear Justin’s side of things, that eye-catching detail drove massive interest in the Netflix reality series.

That is not to say that it was not already popular. But now, people who’d never felt interested or even heard of the show were curious.

Chrishell’s loss in her personal life may be the show’s game — and has been a boost to all of her castmates, including her frenemy, Christine.
