Britney Spears Posts Comforting Throwback to Mexico Vacation After Tragic Miscarriage

Over the weekend, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari shared the loss of their “miracle baby.”

Miscarriages, even very early, can be heartbreaking and even traumatic — especially considering how long they have waited.

However, the two are coping, at every step reminding themselves and others things are still okay.

Britney is seeking comfort by sharing a throwback from her vacation in Mexico. It’s good to find healthy ways to cope.

“Trying to be sexy running like Baywatch,” Britney captioned a throwback video.

“#TB to Mexico,” she labeled the post, in case anyone thought that she had embarked upon another vacation.

Britney has spread out her throwbacks, sharing several sets of photos and videos from her sunny getaway.

Britney appeared in a delightfully skimpy mint green bikini.

The barely-there swimwear required a few adjustments during the video.

Britney also ran along the beach topless, enjoying herself in the hot sun.

Some on social media expressed that they were puzzled by the cheerful throwback.

Why, they wondered, was she posting something so positive when she and Sam Asghari are mourning after the miscarriage?

It’s unclear what she should be posting — gifs of dark stormclouds or tearful selfies or nothing at all, since each of those would also receive criticism.

The reality is that grieving people tend to act in all sorts of ways, and even someone undone by loss can have normal moments.

Many families gather together to talk and laugh after a funeral, as a way of community healing.

Someone in mourning might watch movies, have sex, or keep up with normal hobbies — which is healthy, and can also help them to cope and process.

“We have felt your support,” Sam Asghari expressed on Monday, expressing his gratitude on social media.

“We are taking things positively and moving forward with our future,” he affirmed.

“It’s hard but we are not alone,” Sam wrote. “Thank you for respecting our privacy. We will be expanding our family soon.”

While it’s true that many people experience miscarriages without realizing it, we all understand that there is a difference when you knew and were anticipating giving birth.

This is why Britney and Sam have, in retrospect, admitted that they were premature in sharing the news with fans.

It is traditional to wait to tell people for many reasons, one of which being that a miscarriage means having to make a painful announcement to anyone who knew of the pregnancy.

For Sam and Britney, the tragedy was compounded.

The two have wanted a child for some time, but have spent the vast majority of their relationship during Britney’s conservatorship.

Only recently has Britney been given the legal power to make this kind of decision for herself.

We don’t mean to sound like one of those deranged political malefactors who goes on online rants about the “prime fertile years” fo women (always creepily young), but …

… At 40, any pregnancy of Britney’s will be a geriatric one, and her odds of conceiving naturally are lower than they were even just a few years ago.

So why didn’t she get pregnant at the time? Simple: she was physically unable to.

Britney had a UTI implanted in her uterus and was unable to have it removed for years. That is forced sterilization, and it is a human rights horror.

There is no denying that her dreams of having a child with Sam might have gone more smoothly just a couple of years ago.

Even so, we are rooting for them, and believe that they can have their happily ever after.

Sam Asghari Speaks Up After Britney Spears Miscarriage: We Will Have a Miracle Soon

On Saturday, May 14, Britney Spears and Sam Asghari announced their tragic miscarriage.

They had both wanted a baby together for years, but only been able to try for a matter of months.

In their joint announcement of the loss, they acknowledged that they “should have waited” before sharing what was, at the time, very good news.

Sam has also offered a more personal response to the sad setback.

Under Britney’s post of their mutual miscarriage announcement, Sam left a comment.

“We will have a miracle soon,” he wrote under Britney’s post.

This is a heartbreaking moment for many — but for no one more than for Britney and Sam.

“We are grateful for what we have in the process of expanding our beautiful family,” Britney wrote in the caption under her announcement.

“Thanks for your support,” she expressed.

The accompanying message, shared in a graphic rather than a caption, was what broke the news:

“It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that we have lost our miracle baby early in the pregnancy,” the statement began.

“This is a devastating time for any parent,” the two acknowledged.

At every step, Sam and Britney are clearly going out of their way to express compassion for others in similar — and worse — situations.

“Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along,” the joint statement acknowledged.

“However,” the beloved couple explained, “we were overly excited to share the good news.”

Britney and Sam affirmed: “Our love for each other is our strength.”

“We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family,” Britney and Sam’s joint statement made clear.

“We are grateful for all of your support,” they expressed.

The statement concluded: “We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult time.”

Obviously, Britney and Sam are not the only ones who feel crushed by this news.

Britney previously shared that her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, were the first to learn the news.

Finding out that you’re going to get a new sibling is always major news, even when you’re a teenager.

Britney and Sam have been together for half a dozen years.

They have wanted to marry and have a child together for a few years now.

Until late last year, however, they were unable to — legally and physically.

Legally, Britney was still under her conservatorship.

It was not just her finances, her career, and her movements that were beyond her control.

Britney was unable to regulate her own healthcare, including removing her IUD.

The restrictions upon her reproductive freedoms were discussed for some time in the public sphere.

Then, in June of 2021, Britney confirmed the situation in her historic courtroom testimony, lamenting her inability to have a child.

Britney’s forced sterilization is a violation of her fundamental human rights, and it also forced her to delay this pregnancy.

Britney’s conservatorship is now gone, and so is her IUD, but the specter of both continue to haunt her life.

Nothing can ever restore those lost years, and we don’t just mean her right to live her life as she sees fit.

Her odds of successfully conceiving and bringing a child to term go down with age. The window is closing. There’s a reason that Britney and Sam are hoping for a “miracle” baby.

Travis Scott Sued for Wrongful Death Over Miscarriage After Astroworld Stampede

Travis Scott’s reputation has yet to recover after November 2021’s Astroworld tragedy.

Ten people died as a result of injuries sustained, and some of their families — along with others who were injured — have blamed organizers and performers.

Travis is only one of the defendants being sued by Shanazia Williamson over multiple injuries sustained at the concert.

Under Texas law, she is also suing for wrongful death, alleging that the crowd surge and stampede caused a miscarriage.

Travis Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster, is being sued alongside multiple defendants.

Those named in the suit include Live Nation, scoremore Holdings, and ASM Global.

Shanazia Williamson filed the suit on November 21, the same month as the November 5 tragedy at Astroworld.

Her initial lawsuit described attending Astroworld only to be trampled during the infamous and deadly crowd surge.

Williamson sustained injureis to her shoulder, back, chest, leg, abdomen, and elsewhere on her body, according to the filing.

Considering that 25 people were hospitalized and more than 300 people were reportedly injured, she is far from alone.

Travis Scott Responds to Astroworld Album Art Controversy

TMZ got their hands on Williamson’s lawsuit, in which che alleges that the defendants failed “to plan, design, manage, operate, staff, and supervise the event.”

The filing says that this failure “was a direct and proximate cause of Shanazia’s injuries and death of her and Jarawd’s (her partner) unborn child.”

She is accusing the defendants of causing the wrongful death of her potential child, on the grounds that the injuries caused her to miscarry.

The initial lawsuit cited numerous injuries, including “trouble breathing, chest pain” and “leg pain, as well as injuries to other parts of her body.”

That was filed on November 21.

A month and a half later, the lawsuit was amended to include the wrongful death.

Texas law is notorious in many ways, including on this topic, and is therefore very relevant to this case.

According state law, the death of a fetus due to negligence can be the basis of a wrongful death suit.

An interesting stipulation is that it does not matter whether the fetus was viable, or how far along the pregnancy was.

Shanazia’s suit does not mention how far along she was in her pregnancy, but given Texas law, that point seems to be moot.

It would appear that she needs only prove that she was injuried at Astroworld and that her injuries resulted in a miscarriage.

That … and she would have to prove that neglicence on the part of the defendants, Travis Scott among them, is what prompted the deadly crowd surge.

This is interesting, because the poorly conceived Texas law was imagined out of malice.

The goal, of course, was to come as close to criminalizing abortion as possible, creating a culture of fear and empowering abusive partners and relatives to police people’s bodies.

Given that political malefactors who put forward such policies generally despise personal injury lawsuits, it seems unlikely that lawmakers predicted this use of the law.

The public at large is not entirely sure of what happened at Astroworld beyond the tragedy itself.

It may take seeing the entire thing play out in court for us to all understand the sequence of events that led to the stampede.

Travis Scott is the most famous name associated with what happened, but it is unclear if he could have done anything differently. Again, that will have to be decided by the courts.
