The Duggars: Who’s Courting? Who’s Pregnant? Who’s Next In Line? [UPDATED WITH EVEN MORE BLESSINGS!]

Counting On is basically the reality TV equivalent of Game of Thrones:

On each show, there are roughly four million characters, and it’s often difficult to keep track of who’s doing what … or whom.

The Duggars take a slightly more conservative view on coupling than the residents of Westeros, but all the same, courtships, weddings, pregnancies, and births are a big part of what keeps their core audience tuning in.

So here’s a rundown of what some of Jim Bob and Michelle’s kids are up to these days.

Don’t worry – unlike Thrones, the Duggars won’t be leaving your TV screen anytime soon. Not as long as they continue to make sure Earth’s population growth continues unabated.

UPDATE: The Duggar drama never ends! We’ll continue adding the latest developments to the end of this gallery!

1. The Gang’s All Here

The Duggars are an almost impossibly large family. With the adoption of Tyler Duggar last year, Jim Bob and Michelle’s brood swelled to 20.

2. The Next Generation

And then there are the grandkids. That number currently sits at 12 for Jim Bob and Michelle.

3. More on the Way!

Of course, as is usually the case with the Duggars, there are more babies on the way. Jessa Duggar is roughly 31 weeks pregnant at the moment.

4. She’s Not Alone!

Joseph Duggar’s wife Kendra is also expecting a child. The couple just welcomed their first child in June of 2018.

5. The Race Is On!

Of course, Josh and Anna Duggar still hold the record for providing Jim Bob and Michelle with the most grand-Duggars.

6. Aggressive Expansion

The couple welcomed their fifth child in 2018, and it doesn’t look like they’ll be letting up anytime soon.

Where Do the Duggars Live? Tour All Their Homes & Apartments!

The Duggar homestead is a familiar sight to fans of the family.

Jim Bob and Michelle built a 7,000-square foot Arkansas residence using the proceeds from their first TLC specials way back in the day.

Thirteen years and three more kids later, the house serves as the setting for two reality shows – and some very large family gatherings.

Of course, 13 years is a long time and, about half the younger Duggar generation has grown up and moved into homes of their own.

Some of the adult Duggars are just starting out – while some are already living the good life on some very enviable property.

Others … not so much. We’ll get to that shortly.

The folks at celebrity gossip magazine In Touch took a look at all of the Duggar homes, and you might be surprised by what they found.

So where do the Duggars live? Take a look:

1. The Compound

Dh 1
Every Counting On fan is familiar with the massive Tontitown property known as the Duggar compound. But these days, several of Jim Bob and Michelle’s kids have left the nest to establish homes of their own.

2. The Beginning …

Dh 17
The Duggars’ story begins here, in this much more modest home in nearby Springdale, Arkansas. Not the kind of place in which you would want to raise 19 kids.

3. A Humble Start

The duggars in 2004
When the Duggars made their TV debut on Discovery Health, the network helped them with construction costs for their new home in Tontitown. Execs also filled up the family’s pantry, something Jim Bob and Michelle had difficulty doing in those days.

4. The Living Room

Dh 16
The Duggars love the great outdoors (especially their big backyard) but when they’re inside the compound, this sprawling living room — with its sky-high ceilings — serves as the site of more Counting On scenes than any other.

5. The Master Bedroom

Dh 15
And this — as they used to say on MTV’s Cribs — is where the magic happens. Jim Bob and Michelle’s bedroom has been the site of an awful lot of baby-making.

6. The Master Bath

And this is the bathroom off of Jim Bob and Michelle’s room. We’re guessing this was roughly the size of the living room in their first house.

Duggar Family Responds to National Outbreak, Asks Fans to Trust in the Lord

The Duggars are a polarizing family.

This may be the most understated sentence ever written on this celebrity gossip website.

But Jim Bob, Michelle and company have issued a statement in which they hope to bring together a reeling nation during a time of unprecented fear and anxiety.

As you very likely know by now – heck, as you better know by now for the sake of everyone’s health and safety – the United States has been hit by a viral outbreak.

There’s no telling how many people will contract COVID-19, or how many will die from it, but all forecasts point to this crisis as being both severe and long-lasting.

Things will get worse before they get better.

In response to thousands of diagnosed cases and dozens of deaths, U.S. President Donald Trump has declared that America is in a state of national emergency.

He has also urged residents not to gather in groups of more than 10 people, while countless cities have shut down restaurants, bars and public establishments.

Schools are closed around the nation. Professional sports are on hiatus. Beloved celebs are being diagnosed.

It’s an all-out crisis, you guys.

The Duggar family, however, would like everyone to try and relax.

Not because this isn’t a serious situation; but because they think that turning to a higher power will at least calm some fears and concerns.

“We know that this Coronavirus situation is unprecedented,” reads a formal statement from the Arkansas family on Facebook.

“Beyond the health threat, there are so many unknown economic and societal impacts this virus is making worldwide.”

duggar statement

It’s true, of course.

As we write this and the TLC stars and alums make their plea, Congress is working on economic packages to assist folks who will be out of work for the foreseeable future.

So many people out there don’t know when their next paycheck will arrive, while no one is quite sure what will happen next overall. And all that’s aside from the virus itself.

For this reason, the Duggars are urging fans and followers to take solace in the only reliable outlet that exists at all times, through the good, bad and everything in between.

“The one thing we do know is that even in the darkest days and in the most challenging times, we can put our trust and hope in God,” continues the Facebook statement.

“Let’s all pray for one another, for our leaders, for our healthcare workers, and especially for our elderly.”

“Let’s all look for ways to love and care for our neighbors with the greatest risk,” the family urges.

The statement ended with these hashtags:

#praying #trustGod #helpothers

There are probably readers out there who criticize the family for everything, and scoff at this message.

Typical Duggars. Let’s maybe trust the doctors and scientists right now above all else, they figure.

But we can do both, right?

We definitely need to heed the advice of all experts and to take every practical precaution they recommend in order to overcome this outbreak.

There’s nothing wrong with also relying on one’s faith, though.

Even the harshest Duggar critics can recognize this.

So, as a sign of national unity and as a symbolic gesture that we really are in this together, let’s put aside our differences.

Let’s thank them instead, as we continue to hope that the Duggar family – and everyone around the world – stays healthy.

Be safe and smart, Duggars. And all of y’all.
