Gary Shirley Praises Amber Portwood in Court: She’s Not Dangerous Anymore!

Recently, there was a new twist in Amber Portwood’s ongoing legal battle with Andrew Glennon.

Andrew wants to move himself and his son across the country to his home state.

Amber is fighting to stop this from happening.

Now, her other baby daddy, Gary Shirley, is testifying in court — and despite their volatile past, he insists that she has changed.

As we previously reported, Andrew Glennon wants to move to California.

The 37-year-old father wants to bring his 3-year-old son, who resides with him, along when he moves.

Amber Portwood lives in Indiana and wishes to remain there, and called Gary to the stand to try to convince the court to forbid the move.

“Amber is a different person now than she was with me,” Gary testified in court, according to The Sun.

“And,” he claimed, “she is a different person than she was even a year and a half ago.”

We are rapidly approaching the three-year anniversary of when Amber attacked Andrew in their home while he held James, so one would hope so.

“I do notice more positive things,” Gary insisted. “Actually, I am very proud of her.”

Gary described: “It’s a great responsibility that she has.”

Sounding almost on the verge of tears, Gary commented: “It’s a different bond with James than she had with Leah.”

“Because when Leah was that age, she was in prison,” Gary recalled.

“And,” he acknowledged diplomatically, “some other things going on with her.”

Gary assessed: “and I think that the person she is today is not the person she was then.”

“I think that was a little hard for Leah,” Gary said, as if to explain why his teenage daughter is not close with Amber.

“That was a hard thing for Leah, seeing how well they get along,” Gary admitted of Amber’s bond with baby James.

Leah was five years old in December of 2013, when Amber was released after serving 17 months in prison.

Gary claimed that Amber makes repeated visits to his home every month, each time with James in tow, to see Leah.

He said that he has observed a positive relationship between his ex and the three-year-old.

“They cuddle, they’ve made cookies, they play with his toys,” Gary described. “In the summer, they go play outside.”

Gary praised James’ behavior.

He also had good things to say about Amber, noting that he had never witnessed her lose her temper with him.

(Of course, while well-behaved children are abused just like other children, we all know that parenting’s real tests don’t happen on good days)

“I’ve never seen her do anything to James that would concern me,” Gary stated.

“There’s nothing but love there,” he described.

Coming from the man whom Amber once scolded, many years ago, for not physically abusing their child, this is dramatic testimony.

Gary also spoke about his awareness of Amber’s diagnoses, describing her mental health as having improved drastically.

“I think a lot of it was she learned how to handle her herself,” Gary described. “I don’t think she was diagnosed properly for a long time.

He added: “I’m assuming there was a lot of trial and error to try to pinpoint the issue and taking the meds correctly.”

Gary also speculated that if James relocated to California with his father, it could severely impact the boy’s relationship with Leah.

That is certainly a ringing endorsement, but then, Gary and Amber are getting along these days. She barely even insults his wife anymore.

But the court will have to consider more than what Gary thinks when it comes to a decision like this.

Amber Portwood FLIPS OUT on Gary Shirley at Teen Mom Reunion: Leah is in Therapy Without Me?!

On this season of Teen Mom OG, viewers watched Gary Shirley join Amber Portwood in therapy.

It wasn’t couples counseling; it was Amber’s therapist explaining Amber’s mental health struggles to her ex.

Her real goal is to get Gary to force Leah to attend mother-daughter counseling with her.

At the Reunion, Gary revealed that Leah is in therapy — by herself. Amber handled the news with her usual … poise and grace.

That is to say that Amber got increasingly angry, flipped out, and stormed off of the stage.

She was furious at Gary, managed to spit venom at Kristina too, and was seemingly resentlful of her own daughter.

Gary’s “crime” was apparently respecting Leah’s privacy … but we’re getting ahead of ourselves.

Before the explosive storming off of the stage that you can see in the clip that we icnluded, Amber explained her sour mood.

“I’m shut down because I’m listening to my daughter say certain things that I see online,” she explained to Dr. Drew.

“I just don’t want [Leah] to write me off,” Amber stated, “like I did when I was young with my own mother.”

“I know when I grew up, I regretted that, losing four years with my mom,” Amber said.

Of course, her issue was that her mother was often busy working, which is not exactly the same as Amber’s distance from Leah.

She did say that things with Gary were “good,” at which point he was invited to join them on stage.

This, of course, is where things went downhill.

Gary confirmed on stage that he did speak to Leah about Amber’s borderline personality disorder following the therapy session.

Amber immediately looked distant as this topic came up, but Dr. Drew continued.

Dr. Drew asked whether Gary was more open to the idea of Leah going to therapy — possibly with Amber.

“She is speaking to somebody now, a professional,” Gary announced, dropping a bombshell on viewers and also on his ex.

“You probably didn’t know this,” he acknowledged to Amber. “Per Leah’s request, she didn’t want it to be talked about.”

Gary emphasized: “I have her permission, to talk about it, make it known.”

Dr. Drew began to stress how this is a good thing.

Amber agreed, but only up to a point, saying that it’s only good “if I know about it.”

Gary defended his daughter’s privacy: “Part of Leah going, she didn’t want anybody knowing.”

He explained: “They’re working on different things she can do to help the communication start between her mom and her.”

Gary shared: “She’s gone, I think, about 10 [times].”

As anyone who knows anything about her could have predicted, Amber absolutely lost her s–t.

“Here’s the thing, I’m the mother of her,” she insisted.

Amber demanded: “I need to understand what Leah is going through, so I believe the communication should be there for that.”

“I also think that Leah is a child, she is not an adult, I am her mother,” Amber continued.

She added: “She doesn’t need to say anything, but you can tell me.”

In other words, Amber was saying that Gary — Leah’s actual parent — should have betrayed Leah’s trust and told Amber things that are frankly not her business.

“So I should break her trust and tell you what she doesn’t want you to know?” asked a bewildered Gary.

Amber claimed: “That’s not breaking trust, though.”

It is literally breaking trust. If Leah knows that Gary will not keep a secret from Amber, she will justifiably never trust him again, and he wouldn’t deserve that trust.

Snidely, Amber “thanked” Gary for filling her on “on this stage, here.”

She spat: “I don’t need a camera in front of my face for me to know something.” Oh brother.

“This error or mistake has been going on for years,” Amber griped. “Every time I find out about something, it’s in front of a camera.”

When the question came up of whether Gary would keep Amber informed from now on, he correctly affirmed that it would be up to Leah.

Amber then raised her voice, followed by Gary, in something of a shouting match.

Gary asked Amber to stop sticking her finger in his face while she demanded that he stop yelling at her.

“You came out here with some bullcrap. I just found out, on camera, of course,” Amber began to rant.

“Everything that you do is for television. Done. Everything he does it for television. I’m out, bye! Live your life,” she said.

Amber furiously got off of the couch and stormed off of the stage. Still, she wasn’t done.

Amber whirled around and began shouting at Gary from off the stage.

“And by your way, your first class ticket coming back, you’re not f—ing sitting with me,” she barked.

Amber hissed: “You can’t use me for s–t for the rest of your f–king life and for your money. How do you have your money today, Gary?”

“All because of you, thank you,” Gary answered quickly and repeatedly in a very “yes dear” kind of tone.

“I said thank you, thank you so much for everything you’ve done for me, I appreciate it,” he emphasized at his unhinged ex.

Apparently satisfied, Amber resumed storming off, saying “You’re welcome. Garbage.”

Amber then vented to a producer: “He can keep making his money off me, this is ridiculous.”

“You know damn well that Gary only does this when we have screens. I’m done. I’m done,” she ranted

Amber could even be heard complaining: “Kristina, you wanna keep secrets from me? I’m the mother. I would have just liked to know she was even going, that would have been nice.”

The thing about the vast majority of bad people, and especially bad parents, is that in their minds, they are reasonable people who, at worst, make mistakes.

To Amber, Leah’s actual parent respecting her privacy is an outrage, while all of Amber’s bad behavior can be explained and forgiven.

In real life, we get that this was a surprise to Amber, but that’s how reality TV works. And if she wanted to be in the loop, she could have just been a better mom.

Gary Shirley Joins Amber Portwood in Therapy, Leaves Kristina on the Back Burner

On this week’s Teen Mom OG, Amber Portwood addressed her mental illness and how it impacts her life.

Up to a point, that is commendable.

She also asked her ex, Gary Shirley, to accompany her to therapy.

Where does this leave Gary’s wife, Kristina? In an awkward place, that’s for sure.

On Episode 23 of this season of Teen Mom OG, Gary Shirley sat down for a conversation with his wife.

But before he could share his plans with Kristina, we heard a voiceover from Amber.

“I haven’t seen any progress with Leah since I saw her last,” she complained.

“So,” Amber explained, “I want Gary to go to therapy with me.”

She added: “I’m hoping that if he gains a bit more perspective, he might be open to Leah speaking with someone, too.”

In other words, this therapy is just a stepping stone, in her mind, to getting Leah into a room with her.

“She had also mentioned to me about going with her to her psychiatrist,” Gary related to his wife about Amber’s past desires.

He indicated to Kristina that he intended to agree to do this with Amber.

Kristina half-jokingly exclaimed: “Once again I get put on the back burner!”

At this point, as you can see in the clip, Gary repeatedly asked if Kristina was opposed.

Gary promised that if Kristina did not want him to go, he would not go with Amber.

Despite her obvious polite misgivings about Gary devoting even more of his time and energy to his ex, Kristina did not object.

Kristina signaled that it was okay “if it’s gonna help.”

She emphasized: “I’m not going to stop you!”

Kristian asked for clarification, though, about what exactly this whole thing will be about.

Would the sessions be about co-parenting Leah?

Not exactly. Not directly, anyway.

Instead, Gary explained, the session would probably have more to do with Amber and her mental health strugges.

“That way, maybe I don’t hold anything against her,” Gary described.

His goal, he told his wife, is for this to ultimately benefit Leah.

“I know you understand that,” Gary affirmed. “And I know you’re positive in that.”

Kristina has been extremely patient and supportive despite a lot of bad behavior from Amber and a lot of time lost to Gary catering to her.

As Gary admits, he doesn’t have much of a choice.

He will always be linked to Amber because they had Leah together, and he’ll do anything that he can for Leah.

Gary also described to Kristina how he and Amber had, long ago, gone to therapy together.

At that time, this was after Amber had attacked him in a domestic violence incident.

(Not to be confused with her domestic violence incident with Andrew Glennon, her other baby daddy … this seems to be a pattern of hers)

Of course, what gets Amber the most criticism here and now isn’t dragging Gary away from family time to hear about her mental health.

Instead, it’s her obvious goal of getting Leah into a room with a therapist.

To many, it sounds like she wants to manipulate her tween daughter into giving her acceptance, forgiveness, and love that she frankly may not deserve.

Gary Shirley: I Wish I Could Ban Amber From My Life Forever!

On this week’s Teen Mom OG, Amber Portwood didn’t know what to do.

Leah hadn’t fallen for her sob story or her tearful video. She hadn’t even responded.

Gary and Kristina had to carefully consider what the best thing would be for Leah.

But Gary can’t help but admit that, in a perfect world, Amber would be 100% out of his life.

As you can see on the Teen Mom OG clip that we have included, Gary Shirley sat down with Kristina.

“Amber called me up,” he told his wife.

“She apologized for everything,” Gary revealed.

“I did let her know that Leah had seen the video,” Gary shared.

Naturally, Amber asked if Leah had anything to say to her after seeing her mom’s tearful dramatic reading of a letter.

“No, not really,” Gary had relayed accurately to Amber of 12-year-old Leah’s response.

“She did say that she didn’t want to respond,” Gary acknowledged.

“For Leah, it’s just … accumulated so many things that are, like, hard to forget,” he explained to his wife.

“But for me, it’s a start,” Gary said of Amber’s willingness to actually apologize.

Kristina acknowledged that she felt similarly.

“I’ve forgiven her for, you know, the things that she has said,” she told her husband.

“There just comes a time when we move forward,” Kristina explained.

“At some point, I want Leah to be able to see James, I want to see James,” Gary expressed.

“I know that Amber is gonna want to see Leah,” he pointed out.

“So even if it’s, like, a small start,” Gary continued, “I might try reaching out.”

“Would it be acceptable to invite her over here?” Kristina asked.

She asked if that would be okay “even though Leah’s still feeling a certain way?”

The parents determined that this would be fine — but Leah’s interactions with Amber would be optional.

“Just because we apologized to each other and get everything out of the way, it doesn’t mean that Leah’s relationship is gonna be alternately fixed,” Gary reasoned.

“Leah might still need time,” he suggested.

“I know if we’re all getting along,” Gary said, “it will make it easier for Leah.”

But Gary knows his ex all too well. He knows that Amber’s good behavior will not last forever.

“My biggest fear is we’re gonna fix this and it’s a matter of time,” he warned.

Gary explained “because if her relationship isn’t repaired with Leah, it’s gonna be like, ‘Okay, you’re still mad at everything and you’re gonna take it out on us.’”

“Honestly, if I could have my way I would just be done with it,” Gary confessed.

In other words, he would just cut Amber out of his life forever and not have to deal with her nonsense.

“But,” he acknowledged, “it’s not the case.”

“We have a kid together,” Gary reasoned, not mentioning that they’re also castmates on a reality series together.

“We need to make sure that that kid’s happy and healthy,” he stressed.

“So, I’m gonna call her,” Gary shared, “and see if she wants to come over.”

Amber Portwood: Leah Didn’t Buy My Sob Story! It’s Gary’s Job to Fix This!

Last week, viewers saw Amber Portwood claiming that Leah had been turned against her.

Some people are always on the lookout for someone to blame, and don’t seem to own mirrors.

On this week’s Teen Mom OG, Amber despaired after her tearful video didn’t work as intended on Leah.

Amber already showed Leah who she really is, and Leah believed her. Where could they possibly go from here?

“I don’t know what to do anymore,” Amber expressed to a producer.

“I’m still trying,” she insisted.

“But it’s very unwelcoming,” Amber complained, “that’s all I can say.”

“I sent a video apology and I didn’t get a response,” Amber recapped.

Dismissively, she added: “I got something from Gary that day saying they watched it.”

Apparently, this did not meet the fantasy that Amber had entertained of how her tear-jerker would pay off.

“They would see the raw emotion of a human being that is pouring their heart out,” Amber explained of her shattered hopes.

“I just want my relationship with my daughter,” she added.

“She’s losing time with her mom,” Amber said, “and she’s not wanting time with her mom.”

Meanwhile, at Gary’s home — where Leah actually lives and is nurtured by parents who are there for her — Gary and Kristine discussed the situation.

“So Amber called me up, she apologized to me about everything and then I did let her know that Leah had seen the video,” Gary told his wife.

“She said, ‘Did she say anything?’ [I said] ‘No, not really,” Gary admitted. “She did say she didn’t want to respond.”

Gary explained that Leah didn’t fall for Amber’s video for a simple reason.

The 12 year old has “just accumulated so many things that are hard to forget.”

But, he added, “it’s a start.”

Kristina echoed that she has forgiven Amber for many things.

She opined that “there just comes a time when you move forward.”

Gary hatched a plan to invite Amber and her son, James, whom she was recently accused of abusing, for an indirect visit.

Gary did express the fear that Amber would, well, Amber it up again.

“My biggest fear is we’re gonna fix this and it’s a matter of time,” Gary suggested, referring to how Amber might make this harder.

He explained “because if her relationship isn’t repaired with Leah, it’s gonna be like, ‘Okay, you’re still mad at everything and you’re gonna take it out on us.'”

“If I could have it my way, I’d just be done with it, but that’s not the case,” Gary explained of severing ties with Amber.

“We have a kid together,” he said, “and we have to make sure that kid’s happy and healthy.”

So yes, Gary and Kristina invited Amber to come over with James so that the brother and sister could spend time together.

Amber felt overjoyed, gushing that she couldn’t “wait to see Leah” after months without contact.

“Don’t care if she looks at me, rolls her eyes and goes upstairs. I don’t give a f–k,” she claimed.

Amber declared: “As long as I see her and say, ‘I love you, bye.’ We’re still moving somewhere.”

“It just takes time,” Amber told herself. “She’s not going to hate me forever.”

She told a producer that she excuses her own failures as a parent because she had been “self-medicating.”

However, Amber believed that telling Leah was off the table due to her age.

Of course, the get-together could not be filmed, because James was there.

Andrew Glennon would have to sign off to allow James to film for reality television.

Wisely, for James’ well-being, safety, and personal development, James did not.

Instead, we just saw Amber’s assessment of the visit as she spoke to her own mother after the fact.

She called the get-together “kind of fine” but acknowledged that it was “a little awkward” for Leah that she was there.

Well, yes. Leah clearly isn’t interested in contact with Amber, but her own family aren’t letting that happen.

Amber Portwood: I’m Being Nice to Gary and That Homewrecker Kristina! Honest!

Though it has been no great surprise to fans, Amber Portwood has recently been at war with both baby daddies.

Having gotten into trouble with the law for assaulting both men in separate instances, things could be worse.

But fans have worried about how this pointless conflict has been impacting Amber’s children.

Now, Gary and Kristina have managed to make peace with Amber and even find some common ground. Will wonders never cease?!

For the first half of this year, Amber Portwood was totally at odds with Gary Shirley and his wife, Kristina.

Her intense jealousy over the bond that they share with Leah did not drive her to be a better mother.

Instead of trying to win her daughter’s admiration, she simply lashed out at the people who already earned it.

However, Amber has now revealed to The Sun that things have changed both dramatically and for the better.

She gushed that things are “amazing actually.”

Amber detailed: “We literally just went to a fair, all of us together, the whole family.”

While COVID-19 is a weird time to go to a fair in any context, that outing is a clear sign that things are on the mend.

“We are in a much better spot than we were,” Amber added.

“We are doing good,” she affirmed, “and we are in contact.”

“I see my kids,” Amber continued, “so obviously I have to see them.”

That is an awkward way of phrasing it, but not unreasonable.

It sounds like she resolved to make the best of a bad situation.

“We are seeing each other as much as we can,” Amber expressed.

“But Kristina and me are both in school actually,” she noted, citing a bit of common ground.

“And,” Amber added, “the kids are in school now too.”

“I struggled a bit,” Amber admitted.

“But,” she shared, “I found something to kind of get me out of my head and busier with school.”

More time studying means less time bashing your baby daddy and his wife, one supposes.

Early this year, Amber went on a vicious and frankly unhinged rant — hardly her first — about Gary and Kristina.

She called the two “two-faced” and “liars.”

This had followed the season premiere of Teen Mom OG, when Kristina had joked about Amber’s role in their lives being akin to a teenage daughter.

That was of course an unfair comparison.

Stereotypes and anecdotes aside, there are many teenage girls who are emotionally mature and of course non-violent.

That was not the end of the clashes with Amber, however.

Amber went on to, just days later, accuse Gary of speaking to her inappropriately in an effort to cheat on Kristina.

She even accused him of touching her sexually, accusing him of being “gross” and a cheater … which she also said of Kristina.

Things escalated later that spring.

Amber spiraled on scoial media, calling Kristina a “home-wrecker” and a “whore.”

Apparently, in her mind, Gary deciding to leave his abuser was not a decision that he would have made on his own.

She also attacked the couple for parenting Leah, accusing them of “spoiling” her in order to win her affections. Charming.

Gary Shirley SNUBS Amber Portwood in Beautiful Mother’s Day Tribute to Kristina

Amber Portwood’s core personality issues have helped to keep her on reality television for many years.

But they have also caused rifts between her and just about everyone in her life.

Gary Shirley has shaded Amber in recent weeks over her relentless badmouthing.

On Mother’s Day, Gary escalated from subtle digs to an overt snub.

To begin his Mother’s Day tribute on Sunday, Gary posted a series of photos.

They were sweet, wholesome images of his wife, Kristina.

6-year-old Emilee and 12-year-old Leah were also present in the photos.

Kristina Shirley with Emilee and Leah Shirley on Mother's Day 2021

“Happy Mother’s Day to the ONE best MOM’s I know,” Gary’s caption began.

He praised Kristina: “You’re an amazing mother & step mother.”

Gary then emphasized: “Know that you are way more than a step mom!”

“I couldn’t imagine doing this without you,” Gary confessed.

“Thanks for always being a great role model for our kiddos,” his caption praised.

“Your my #mvp #happymothersday @kristina_shirley3,” Gary wrote.

But Kristina was not the only mother mentioned.

Gary then added: “I also wanna take a moment and wish my sister in law a happy mother’s day.”

“@bmccance1 your a great one as well. :),” he wrote.

Kristina Shirley knows where the hurt feelings come from

“Last but not least,” Gary’s caption continued.

Oh good, here comes the mention of Amber … right?

“I wanna wish all the mom’s out there a happy Mother’s Day,” Gary wrote.

“They’re lots of you out there that sacrifice so much you for children,” Gary acknowledged.

“You are not forgotten,” he emphasized.

And that is not the end of this torrential downpour of shade.

“Being a mom takes a lot,” Gary wrote.

“Long hours at work, coming home and teaching your kids,” he described.

Gary continued to list: “being a nurse, and the chef haha.”

Gary Shirley IG - Kristina Shirley asleep on movie date

“Point is a mother is so much more than popping out a kid,” Gary shaded heavily.

“So my hats off to all you mothers out there,” he expressed.

“Again,” Gary wrote, “Happy Mother’s Day.”

“Ps I hate grammar and typing,” Gary acknowledged.

“So my apologies for any grammar issues. Ha,” his caption concluded.

Everyone makes typos every day. It’s fine, Gary.

Of course, Amber might be feeling differently.

Gary described at length so many things that Kristina has done for all three of their household’s children.

And Amber’s own daughter, Leah, was very recently shown suggesting that Amber hasn’t been much of a mom to her.

Leah didn’t even want to include Amber in the family portion of her birthday party.

Why? Because she didn’t really have that kind of bond with Amber.

Amber birthed her, but, Leah noted, it had always been Kristina who was there for her.

Amber, of course, remained calm and understood where her preteen daughter’s feelings were coming from.

Just kidding, of course. Amber does not have the capacity to take anything in stride, it seems.

Amber pitched repeated and very public fits on social media, raving against Kristina and Gary for “sabotaging” her relationship with Leah.

She feuded nonstop with Gary and with Kristina, refusing to take any responsibility.

Gary and Kristina have taken the high road during all of this.

So … was this a big deviation from that?

Kristina Shirley - Teen Mom OG sneak peek

No one can blame Gary for omitting any mention of Amber for Mother’s Day.

After all: if you can’t say anything nice, should you say anything at all?

What could Gary have honestly written about Amber that would be both kind and sincere?

Gary Shirley Shades Amber Portwood: Thank You Kristina for Being a Real Mom!

When it comes to their ongoing feud, Amber Portwood has done almost all of the talking.

Kristina Shirley has mostly just minded her business and stuck to “bonus mom” duties.

It was high time that someone sang her praises from the rooftops.

That someone was Gary, and fans don’t doubt that Amber is going to flip out.

Kristina Shirley wants things to be better

Fueled by a desire to “give her a much needed break,” Gary took his wife to a drive-in movie date on Friday.

Friday of course was the premiere of Mortal Kombat, an enjoyable and beautiful film despite a few awkward moments.

But it looks like neither the action nor the excessively attractive actors were enough for Kristina … in an adorable way.

Gary Shirley IG - drive-in Mortal Kombat showing

At the drive-in movie, Kristina was snuggled comfortably in her seat with blankets.

She was a little too comfortable, in fact.

Kristina fell fast asleep in the car, and it was such a sweet moment that Gary had to share it.

Gary Shirley IG - Kristina Shirley asleep on movie date

“She will prolly kill me for this JK, but my Date is passed out Ahhhhhhh!!!!!!!!” Gary wrote.

“She’s been going hard with school and studying and keeping up with the kids… she gets up at 4:45AM Yikes!!!” he praised.

Gar then expressed: “My hat is off to all the parents who take care of their kids and responsibilities.”

Kristina Shirley - Teen Mom OG sneak peek

Kristina and Gary share their five-year-old daughter, Emilee.

She is also a step-mom to 12-year-old Leah, and has a 13-year-old daughter of her own from a previous marriage.

Kristina is attending school to become a registered medical assistant, and expects to graduate this September.

Kristina manages to balance all of that.

She absolutely deserves praise, and Gary was right to give it.

But given what he was praising her for, fans couldn’t help but perceive this as shade directed at Amber.

See, Kristina works hard and still manages to strike that balance on top of appearing on reality TV.

And, well, fans have long accused Amber of not doing anything of the sort.

Amber has continued to fall short while repeatedly trying to bash Kristina.

There are genuinely bad stepmoms in the world, it’s true. People who resent their partner’s children.

But what draws Amber’s ire is the exact opposite.

Kristina is nice to Leah, she’s supportive, she’s there for her as a “bonus mom” and gives her rides to school.

In fact, fans have watched Kristina be moved to tears just thinking about the complicated emotions that Leah faces.

She feels a world of empathy for Leah.

Meanwhile, so much of what Amber thinks and talks and yells about is, well, Amber.

So instead of thanking Kristina for being so supportive of Leah, Amber has repeatedly gone on the attack.

She resents Kristina and accuses her and Gary of sabotaging her relationship with Leah by being so caring and supportive.

While that care and support makes Amber’s failings that much more obvious, that’s not really their fault, is it?

Leah is a bright preteen and much more reasonable than her mother.

It is a shame that she is caught in the middle of this one-sided feud.

But if Gary was deliberately shading Amber while he praised Kristina, well, it was well-deserved.
