Isabel Roloff Flaunts Baby Bump at 23 Weeks

Last month, Little People, Big World fans learned some exciting news.

Jacob and Isabel Roloff are expecting their first child together. Another Roloff grandbaby is on the way!

With the announcement, fans quickly wondered how far along Izzy’s pregnancy was.

Isabel now has an update, flaunting her beautiful baby bump at 23 weeks.

Jacob and Isabel Roloff are definitely a little young, just into their mid-twenties.

But considering that they already have a healthy handful of niblings through Jacob’s older brothers, this pregnancy was no surprise.

As the saying goes: there’s something in the air.

On Sunday, Isabel was visiting her brother-in-law and his wife.

“Jer and Auj’s house is perfect for selfies,” she captioned a photo shared to her Instagram Stories.

Showcasing her baby bump in a mirror selfie, she wrote: “23 weeks today.”

This is such an exciting time for the Roloff family.

Becoming parents is a huge step, especially for such a young couple who’ve only been married for a couple of years.

That said, we’re talking about a pair who’ve been together since high school. They know each other’s hearts well.

For some fans, Jacob has remained the “baby” of the family even after the births of his nieces and nephews.

It’s not just that he’s the youngest.

Little People, Big World viewers didn’t see him grow up into adulthood.

Jacob was not a voluntary star of the family’s show. He filmed because he had no choice.

When he turned 18, he had a choice, and he chose to leave the show — and to leave the farm.

Multiple legitimate grievances created a rift between him and his parents, but things have improved in the past several years.

Jacob reconnected in person with his family, slowly but surely.

The first hints of his return came on his mother’s Instagram.

Now, Jacob and Isabel are close with the rest of the Roloffs — despite some disagreements.

A common narrative on reality television is that a “new woman” gets with a man and turns him against his family.

Izzy’s story has been anything but that.

More than once, she has appeared to smooth over ruffled feathers and help repair damaged family relationships.

Jacob is also adored as an uncle to his nieces and nephews.

While the youngest of the family (any family) generally gets little to no childcare experience, this is giving him a head start.

No, being an uncle is not the same as being a parent, but it’s a preview of what his and Isabel’s lives will become.

Another exciting event in the Roloff family’s immediate future will, of course, be Amy’s wedding to Chris Marek.

August 28 is only weeks away, and we hope that it goes off without a hitch. There are a number of things that could go wrong, especially amidst the pandemic.

The entire family will treasure the nuptials, but we’re sure that the wedding photos will hold special meaning for Jacob and Isabel, as Izzy will be glowing in her photos.

Isabel Roloff Avoids Instagram After Feud with Audrey: I Need a Break!

It is no secret to Little People, Big World fans that not all Roloffs think alike.

Jacob and Isabel are outspoken about good causes. Audrey and Jeremy have their own ideas about how the world should be.

Earlier this month, Isabel took aim at Audrey for promoting her book in the wake of the Capitol attack instead of speaking out.

Now, Izzy is taking a step back from her online feud with her sister-in-law.

Taking to her Instagram Stories in the wake of her indirect back-and-forth with Auj, Isabel had something to share with her followers.

“Hi, I needed some space from this space,” she wrote to her fans.

“My anxious breathing happens on and off,” Isabel explained.

“Different things trigger it,” Isabel continued.

Anxiety, anxiety disorders, and similar struggles can be brought on by all sorts of causes.

“But honestly,” Izzy wrote, “interactions with people on here can send me spiraling.”

“And,” Isabel added, these interactions can “make my anxiety worse than anything.”

“An obvious sign I should pull back,” she observed.

We all need social media breaks from time to time, even if for some of us, those breaks seem to only last as long as a night’s sleep.

“Just going to take it day by day,” Isabel expressed to her fans and followers.

She concluded her post with an affectionate “Love y’all.”

It was sweet of her to keep them up to speed on her plans. Some stars take unannounced social media breaks — which is their right, but fans sometimes worry.

As before, isabel did not directly address Audrey or any feuding within the greater Roloff family.

She didn’t give any actual indications that this was about anything politically charged or even one specific person.

And, of course, it might not be. It is only natural that sometimes, coincidences happen. This could always be one of them.

But fans were quick to point out that Isabel’s need to step back and take a breather instead of engaging on Instagram came on the heels of some sisterly conflict.

She and Audrey are on opposite sides of the political aisle.

Often, they — and especially Izzy — can find common ground. But in the wake of a horrific attack on the US Capitol by people who don’t seem too far removed politically from Audrey and Jeremy, Isabel had to speak out.

Meanwhile, Audrey herself was deafeningly silent, even posting to defend not discussing the attack on the capitol.

She went on promoting her book, leaving some to wonder if she was as horrified by the attempted coup as everyone else … with some speculating that she might have preferred if it had worked.

To be clear, however, fan speculations aside, Audrey has said a lot of things that are justifiably unpopular, but she has never directly condoned the violent overthrow of the US government.

What is interesting is that Izzy is often the one who plays peacemaker when Jacob, who shares her progressive values, feuds with Auj and Jer.

Shortly after Jacob’s return to the Roloff world, Isabel helped Audrey to promote her shirts in a post that they knew would get attention — a solid olive branch.

But there are some times when making peace right away isn’t the right thing. Regardless, whatever has troubled Izzy on Instagram, we we wish her well.

Isabel Roloff SLAMS Audrey: America Was Attacked! Stop Promoting Your Book!

On Wednesday, January 6, armed white insurgents stormed Capitol Hill in an unprecedented attack on the American government.

Though the attempted coup failed, the subject of the heartbreaking attack by white nationalist Trump supporters has been on everyone’s lips … well, almost everyone.

Audrey Roloff has adamently refused to directly mention the insurrection to Little People, Big World fans.

And her sister-in-law is calling her out.

Last week, Audrey told her fans that she refused to be “pressured” into commenting about the attack in DC.

“While I think there are so many important issues that we, as influencers, can speak out on and move the needle on…” she began.

Audrey then stated that “just because someone isn’t sharing about something, doesn’t mean that they’re not for it or they’re not against.”

“I just think we need to be slower to speak,” Audrey added vaguely.

“And,” she commented, “I think what’s happening in D.C. right now is terrible.”

That line was almost aggressively ambiguous, a detail that many fans picked up on.

“But me not having the perfect words to speak to something going on right now,” Audrey continued.

“And,” she wrote, “throwing something up on my Instagram Story just because I’m pressured into it in my DMs to share about every little issue that’s a current event.”

Auj opined: “I just think… [those people DMing] should check your heart and realize we’re humans, too, and need space to process things, too.”

“And don’t condemn people for sharing things they always share about,” Audrey continued.

Notably, she had continued to promote her new book in the wake of the white nationalist coup attempt in what fans found to be a hurtful business-as-usual approach.

Audrey concluded by insisting that it’s not a “bad thing” that she continues to share things that fall within her “lane and space.”

Clearly, Isabel Rock — wife of Jacob Roloff — sees things very differently.

Izzy has of course been using her own platform to speak out about the attack, using poetry to cope while also directly addressing the issues at hand.

She also appears to have fired a shot at Isabel by way of her Instagram Stories.

Isabel Rock IG - if it's not "on brand" for you ...

“If it’s not ‘on brand’ for you to talk about things like white terrorism,” Isabel shared in a post, “your brand is bulls–t.”

She might not specifically have named Isabel, but many interpreted this as being a deliberate and specific dig at her sister-in-law.

That’s the trick with general statements like that — it’s easy to read as personal, even if you’re not thinking of anyone in your life.

Now, Audrey is partially right — not commenting doesn’t mean that you don’t personally care.

Many people do lack the language and confidence in what they can say to address all or part of national tragedies and other major events.

This is something that even politicians may struggle with. it’s part of why they have social media managers and speech writers.

But the solution here isn’t to remain silent and keep blogging about your book after just a few years of marriage.

Instead, the best solution is to share things that others have said. Retweet, reblog, and share to your own Stories.

If you’re not doing that … people are going to be uncomfortable and wonder why it is that this particular subject is so hard for you to address.

In Audrey’s case, well, fans already know that her political leanings tend to be both fairly extreme and on the conservative side.

Just last year, Jeremy attempted to demonize both the Democratic Party and the historic civil rights protests in a scathing reference to “rioters and looters.”

Audrey herself has referred to living among a “twisted generation,” appearing to take a swipe at fellow Millennials whom she may believe are insufficiently Christian.

This has led Audrey and Jeremy into numerous conflicts with Jacob and Isabel, who are considerably more mainstream in their views.

Jacob is outspoken and sometimes takes a hostile tone with family members after his explanations fail to sway them to use their platforms more responsibly.

Isabel often plays the peacemaker. But who will play peacemaker for her and Audrey after this conflict?

Isabel Roloff Quashes Pregnancy Rumors, Reveals Disordered Eating

Jacob Roloff’s wife Isabel Rock isn’t afraid to share with fans, even when it comes to the painful realities of marriage into a complicated family.

Now, she is quashing pregnancy rumors … and opening up about her past struggles with disordered eating.

On Monday, November 16, Isabel Rock took to Instagram to share a post.

The photo is of her and her handsome husband, Jacob Roloff.

She captioned the pic: “Just thinkin’ about what our babies are gonna look like.”

Young, relatively newly married women tweeting about the looks that babies might have are going to stir speculation.

“Y’all this was NOT a pregnancy announcement,” the 24-year-old later clarified in her Instagram Stories.

Isabel then assured her followers: “The internet will be the last to know when I am.”

In another post, Isabel had more to say: “I don’t know who needs to hear this but… you don’t need to be at the same weight you were when you were fourteen.”

“For a long time,” she reveals, “I have had to remind myself that I was still growing at that age.”

Isabel writes that she has had to remind herself “that I was still developing, and I was also starving myself…”

Isabel now correctly affirms: “it’s nothing to strive for now that I am older, happier, and healthier.”

“This is recovery from an eating disorder,” she acknowledges.

“We give ourselves these unattainable goals,” Isabel observes, “and wonder why we are continuously unhappy.”

“I remember taking the second photo,” Isabel says in reference to this pic, “and thinking that I was fat in it.”

“And,” she recalls, “I had plans to go on a diet.”

“Now I look at it,” Isabel states, “and I can see that I was literally wasting away…”

“My body has taken me on 8 mile hikes, my body has held the hands of those I love,” Isabel states.

She acknowledges that “my body has given me so, so much.”

“And still I spend so much time trying to change her,” Isabel marvels, “or wish that she were smaller.”

“Here is your reminder as we go into winter, hibernation mode and seasonal depression season,” Isabel notes.

(For those of us who enjoy reduced sunlight and cooler weather, it can be easy to forget that some people’s good moods literally rely upon sunlight)

“And,” Isabel laments, “the little voice in our heads may start telling us that all the extra food we are eating is unnecessary.”

“I just wanted to remind whoever needs to hear it, your body is fine exactly as it is, today, right now,” Isabel declares.

“You need to eat,” she correctly notes. “You can rest.”

“Please give yourself all of your unconditional love,” Isabel implores her fans and followers. “You are worthy of that.”

Disordered eating is pernicious, cruel, and potentially deadly.

It relies upon distorted views of our own bodies, and it is constantly reinforced by toxic aspects of our society.

We applaud Isabel for sharing her story with her fans and followers. If it helps even one person, then she has transformed someone’s life for the better.

Isabel & Audrey Roloff: Our Dumb Husbands Can Keep Feuding! We’re Gonna Get Drunk!

The intense family divide between Jacob and Jeremy Roloff has never been more outspoken or intense.

But though their wives surely feel the same way, they seem to be a little better at hiding their intense grudge when the situation calls for it.

Isabel Roloff, her mother-in-law Amy Roloff, and her sister-in-law Audrey Roloff sat down for some family bonding recently.

The two redheads were spending the weekend with Amy on her new property.

And Izzy shared a photo to prove it.

Isabel Rock shares family photo: hot toddies for the hotties

“Hot toddies for the hotties,” she writes across the cozy image.

A hot toddy is essentially an alcoholic tea, usually made with whiskey, honey, lemon, and cloves in hot water.

It was Molly (don’t you miss Molly!) who prepared the drinks for her family.

We’re sure that everyone involved enjoyed their bonding time.

Jacob and Izzy (very appropriately, especially given their ages) do not have any kids of their own, but that doesn’t stop them from being a doting aunt and uncle to their niblings.

Besides, the whole family needs to help Amy create new memories in her new home now that she has left three decades of family memories at Roloff Farms behind her.

But what really struck fans of Little People, Big World is seeing Isabel and Audrey spending time together.

It’s not like the beef between their handsome husbands is solely between them.

Part of what drew both women to their respective Roloff men is shared values — and the brothers have virtually opposite views from each other.

In June, for example, Jacob and Izzy were outspoken about Black Lives Matter, echoing the urgent pleas of millions of Americans seeking justice and reform.

Meanwhile, Jeremy shared a post about “unity” — and when Jacob saw the vague post, he correctly condemned it as “police propaganda.”

More recently, the two have been butting heads over the devastating wildfires that are carving a swath across the West Coast, including their native Oregon.

jerconspiracy2

Jeremy shared a post echoing debunked claims that various miscreants were deliberately starting the fires.

This misinformation tends to have a political motive, downplaying the role of climate change in the infernos and claiming that any perceived political enemies are “arsonists.”

Jacob — and others — blasted these theories of an incendiary conspiracy as, well, conspiracy theories. And that’s when Jeremy hti back.

Jeremy marveled at the idea that what he was spreading was dangerous misinformation.

He wrote that “every person alive” needs to be imploring his particular god for “discernment and vision.”

It was clear that Jacob spoke to him after this, too, because Jer kept digging himself deeper and deeper into the world of conspiracy theories.

jeremy change

Obviously faced with the fact that several of these “I saw Goody Proctor starting a wildfire” stories had been debunked, Jer insisted that it was no reason to rule out the others.

(I have to be honest … why is it so important to him that he go on believing that human malice is starting the fires? Does that make his reality simpler or more palatable?)

Finally, Jeremy’s vagueposts on the subject were getting so bad that Jacob had to speak out.

Taking to his own Instagram Stories, Jacob acknowledged that people had messaged him with alarm about his brother’s posts.

He assured them that he had been speaking to Jer … to no avail.

Jacob reluctantly recommended maybe not following anyone spouting misinformation right now — even if that meant unfollowing his own brother. That must have been hard to write.

jacobjer1

This is not a first for the brothers, and part of a longer difference of fundamental values with obvious political divides.

So to see Izzy and Auj hanging out with each other is encouraging.

That said, it is not especially surprising — they have done this before.

Shortly after Jacob returned to attempt to reconcile with his family, he was in conflict with Jeremy and Audrey over ideology.

Jeremy and Audrey hold some very conservative religious views, many of which translate into their politics.

Meanwhile, Jacob is an atheist who emphasizes values such as personal choice and human rights, as well as environmental concerns.

But Isabel and Audrey spent time together, and it was perceived that Izzy was acting as a peacemaker in the family.

She even wore one of Auj’s merch shirts, helping to advertise it on Instagram.

While we all have to decide for ourselves if we are willing to associate with people who hold values that we know to be horrific and incompatible with our own, if you’re going to keep in touch, you might as well be amicable.
