Peter Weber Celebrates Anniversary With Kelley Flanagan, Fuels Bachelor Conspiracy Theory

Many hated it, and a few probably loved it, but no matter how you felt about it personally, there’s no denying that Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor was one of the weirdest in the show’s history.

And unfortunately for Pilot Pete, the postponement of Clare Crawley’s season of The Bachelorette means fans have nothing to distract them from endlessly rehashing his bizarre tenure as Rosemaster General.

These days, Peter is happily dating Kelley Flanagan, and it looks as though the relationship is getting serious.

In fact, there have been rumors that Peter is planning to propose to Kelley.

Obviously, the objective of the Bachelor is an eligible single like Peter finding his future wife among an army of recent college grads who may or may not be there for the sole purpose of boosting their Instagram following (this is what’s known as one of “the wrong reasons”).

So in that sense, Peter’s season was a success.

But these two took a long, twisty path to happiness, and they left a lot of broken hearts along the way.

This week, Peter marked the occasion of their first meeting by posting a tribute to Kelley on his Instagram page.

But the post had the unintended consequence of reviving allegations that the two of them lied to an entire nation abut the origins of their relationship.

Alongside a video of the lovebirds dancing up a storm at his 10-year high school reunion, Peter wrote:

“A year ago today I met this one in a hotel lobby. We danced the night away and then went our separate ways. I truly didn’t know if I’d see her again. This life is beautiful, beautiful. Let’s see what’s next.”

Now, we’ve known from the start that Peter and Kelley met before she was cast on The Bachelor.

The story goes that she was coincidentally staying in the hotel where his reunion was being held; he encouraged her to try out for the show, and the rest is history.

But for many fans, that narrative leaves some unanswered questions:

For starters, did Peter and Kelley hook up that fateful night in Los Angeles?

Based on the video Pete posted, we’re gonna say that’s a solid “hell yeah.”

The alternative is that they got drunk, danced together, hit it off so well that she upended her life to try out for his reality show … and then they quietly went to their separate rooms at the end of the night.

Now obviously, Peter and Kelley are consenting adults, and if they want to bang and then keep it a secret, that’s their prerogative.

But the knowledge of their secret smush session casts Peter’s entire season in a different light — and it might help to explain why the whole thing was so freakin’ strange.

Was the fix in from the start?

Did Peter and Kelley know they were gonna end up together from the very beginning?

Is that why she was so oddly self-assured right before he sent her packing?

And if that’s the case, why did they drag everyone through that long, torturous process?

The obvious answer is money.

Peter and Kelley were both paid for their time on the show — 100 grand for just a few months’ work, in Peter’s case — and now, they’re both raking it in through Cameo and sponsored content posts on Instagram.

Obviously, they would have sacrificed all of that if they announced that they were in love and walked away from the show.

But if they had an arrangement from the very beginning, why did Pete give Kelley the heave-ho before the Hometown Round?

There are several possible explanations there, the most obvious being that Pete was thinking with his little head and wanted to “sample the wares,” shall we say, before settling down with Kelley.

It’s also possible that Peter and Kelley wanted their charade to seem more believable.

Whatever the case, it seems more and more likely that these two had heart eyes for each other long before their first one-on-one date.

That could be proof that the process works, as these two were able to strengthen their connection, even with the distraction of 29 other contestants.

Or, it could be evidence that this show is as rigged as professional wrestling, and no one is really there for the right reasons.

Bachelor Peter Weber Shares Never-Before-Seen Footage Of The Night He Met GF Kelley Flanagan!

While it might have come as a surprise for Bachelor Nation fans to see Peter Weber ultimately end up with Kelley Flanagan, the former lead just reminded us the pair’s love story began wayyy before TV cameras were ever rolling! On Tuesday, the 29-year-old pilot shared a never-before-seen video from the night he met the […]

Peter Weber: Is He Ready to Propose to Kelley Flanagan?

It’s been about three months since the citizens of Bachelor Nation learned that Peter Weber is dating Kelley Flanagan.

This came as quite a shock, as Peter had just auditioned 30 women for the role of his future wife, and Kelley was one of the many he sent home before she even got to the round where he meets her parents.

Like, it would be one thing if Peter was torn between two women; he proposed to the “wrong” one; and then immediately had a change of heart.

But that’s not what happened.

Instead, Weber proposed to Hannah Ann Sluss; she accepted; and then he sort of ghosted for a few weeks until she got the hint.

After that, Peter “dated” Madison Prewett for literally two days, and then they went their separate ways.

Only then did the guy finally get together with Kelley.

But hey, we’re not judging their origin story.

If anything, the fact that Peter is so picky and yet seems so committed to Kelley might bode well for the future of their relationship.

These two met on The Bachelor, so it’s not surprising that there have already been whispers about Peter and Kelley getting engaged.

And Peter’s latest slickly-produced video love letter to Kelley is sure to get the rumor mill churning overtime.

Peter captioned the clip, “Spin The Globe: Miami”

We can’t be the only ones who were expecting Pete to get down on one knee at the end of this clip.

Sadly, this isn’t an engagement video, it’s just — actually, we don’ know what it is.

A commercial for Peter and Kelley?

A pitch to ABC execs for a Peter and Kelley spinoff?

A bit of travel-gloating for the benefit of a still-quarantined Instagram audience?

Anyway, even without ther dramatic ending, reviews for Peter and Kelley: The Movie have been overwhelmingly positive.

“That drone cinematography is on another level Pete!” wrote one fan.

(The guy does seem to know his way around a drone. We guess that’s not terribly surprising, considering his day job.)

I love the excitement you guys share…how will this fairy tale continue when you both return to the”real world”? I hope being back in the grind won’t be too boring!!

We hate to be cynical, but it is a legitimate concern.

These two went from a reality show to losing each other to this current situation where they’re quarantined together, but still able to travel the world for free thanks to his job as a pilot.

It’ll be almost impossible for them to not experience a little disappointment as the excitement dies down, and they both return to work full-time.

Hopefully, their love will be enough to guide them through.

Oh, and hopefully when he does pop the question, Peter doesn’t use the same ring he gave to Hannah Ann.

That would not be a good look.

Peter Weber’s Mom: I’m So Happy He’s F–king Kelley! She’s the Daughter I Never Had!

Last month, it became very apparent that Barb approves of Kelley Flanagan after she and Peter Weber went public with their not-so-secret romance.

Now, Barb is taking it further, publicly declaring that Kelley is like the daughter she “always wanted.”

“Post-show, honestly, I’m doing good,” Peter reveals while speaking to Chris Harrison on Monday night’s The Bachelor: Greatest Seasons.

He gushes: “I’m extremely happy.”

“It feels so good to be able to say that,” Peter raves.

“And,” he expresses, “I’m just very hopeful for the future.”

“This is my girl,” Peter announces to Chris Harrison, referring to Kelley Flanagan.

This may seem like old news to us, but some viewers may have not seen anything about Peter since he was last on TV.

Those of us on social media who keep up with the blogs can forget how far behind people can be if they’re not very Online.

“I am very, very happy with this one,” he gushes.

“We are just really excited for the future,” Peter raves.

He speaks of how “When this [pandemic] finally ends, we both have dreams.”

‘We’d love to live in New York City for a little bit,” Peter expresses, “and get that experience.”

“So hopefully fingers crossed that’s in our future…” he says.

“And,” Peter shares, he and Kelley want to take the time to “just enjoy each other.”

“It’s been great….” he reflects.

“I remember going in, and I wanted that love story more than anything,” Peter shares.

“And I can honestly say it worked out in the end,” he affirms.

“So, thank you,” Peter expresses.

He adds: “Thank you, Bachelor Nation for standing by me and all my craziness.”

“But,” Peter concludes, “it worked out.”

And he is not the only member of the family who is happy that he found Kelley.

Barb, one of the most polarizing Bachelor Fam parents in recent memory, also showed up to give Peter and Kelley her blessing.

“It’s a dream come true,” Peter’s mom gushes. “I love her.”

“I love her so much,” Barb affirms. “We get along so great.”

“And,” she characterizes, “she’s the daughter that I’ve always wanted.”

“We’re giving Kelley the key [to the house],” Barb jokes.

At least, we think that she was joking.

Peter then adds, definitely joking, saying: “Kelley’s moving into my parents’ house.”

“No, I’m just kidding, I’m kidding,” he declares.

Peter came under fire for being a “mama’s boy” after Barb’s tearful plea for him to choose Hannah Ann over Madison.

In reality, she knew that Peter and Madison were not an ideal fit.

And no matter what Madison’s most hardcore fans though, she was right. Madison and Peter both know that.

Peter didn’t end up with Hannah Ann, but it looks like he found happiness anyway. That’s a win for him and for Kelley.

Peter has opened up in the past about how The Bachelor has limitations — not every contestant can show their best sides on the show.

That’s not a euphemism for nudity, either.

People behave differently on camera. Often, couples have to wait until the Fantasy Suites to really get to know each other.

That’s not a euphemism for boning, either. We mean talking. Besides, plenty of folks don’t wait for Fantasy Suites to take it to pound town.

It was only out in the real world that Peter was able to reconnect with Kelley, first as friends, then as friends who bang each other’s brains out.

Now they’ve found real love, which is a beautiful thing.

Earning Barb’s seal of a approval can be tricky, but should make for smooth sailing for as long as their romance lasts.

For now, they’re enjoying each other’s company and looking forward to the future.

Peter Weber: Here’s Why I Fell In Love With Kelley Flanagan …

It may not have made for the most compelling season of television.

In fact, there’s much to be said for the argument that Peter Weber wasted everybody’s time.

But in the end, the show accomplished its stated goal, as Peter found love on The Bachelor.

Of course, he started dating Kelley Flanagan several weeks after the cameras stopped rolling, and only after proposing to someone else.

Not exactly the fairy tale ending producers had in mind.

But the important thing is, Peter and Kelley eventually found their way back to one another.

Of course, they also met — and probably hooked up — before the season began filming, so they could have saved a lot of time by just entering a relationship right then and giving the Bachelor gig to Mike Johnson or somebody.

But we digress.

Anyway, Peter and Kelley are quarantining together in Chicago these days, and thanks to their endless TikTok posts and Cameo.videos, it’s been pretty easy to keep tabs on the couple.

In his latest Cameo, Weber took what was supposed to be a birthday greeting for a teenager and turned it into some word salad nonsense about why he picked Flanagan.

“You guys want some inside scoop here on why I ultimately picked Kelley? All right, here’s what I can do,” he explained in the clip.

“To be completely honest, I think just the nature of the show definitely works and I’ve said that since day one,” Peter added.

“I still believe it works, but I think specifically for the type of relationship between, you know, Kelley and myself just wasn’t the most organic type of situation for us if it was going to actually work. And that’s OK, that’s totally OK because each relationship is different.”

Weber went on to quote his grandmother in Spanish, something he obviously believes creates the illusion of depth.

“No matter what happens, let the waters run. That’s essentially what it says in Spanish,” he said afterward.

“What’s meant for you [and] what’s yours will always be yours, and nothing can ever change that,” he added.

“So obviously we’ll see what the future holds for Kelley and I, but I think it’s a beautiful story, definitely a beautiful love story of what’s yours is yours and it will always come back to you, no matter what.”

At one point in the video, Peter was joined by Kelley, and the two of them sang “Happy Birthday” to the teen, thus proving they didn’t completely forget the point of the clip.

“That’s kind of always been our relationship. We’ve kept coming back in each other’s lives,” Weber said of Flanagan.

“So the way I look at it, [it’s] definitely an unorthodox way [of finding love] but [it] definitely worked in the end.”

Yeah, the more direct route would have spared a lot of people a lot of heartbreak, but we’re happy for these two anyway.

But maybe going forward, producers should implement a stricter vetting process to make sure no one is in love before filming even begins.
