After so many years together, Britney Spears is eager to marry Sam Asghari in their perfect dream wedding.

In fact, the two are looking forward to taking a lot of steps together now that Britney’s awful dad is out of the picture.

But right now, they’re not doing any of those things because they want to do them the right way.

There’s an upcoming court ruling that could change Britney’s life forever.

Britney Spears wants to do more than just marry Sam Asghari after their five year relationship.

She also wants to buy a new house with him to form new memories for their new life together.

Britney also, as she testified in court, wants to reverse her forced sterilization and have children with Sam.

There is n upcoming court hearing in Britney’s ongoing conservatorship battle.

She won a major victory when the court suspended Jamie Spears from his role as conservator.

But appointing a qualified CPA of Britney’s choosing to replace him was an important step, but not the final one.

The conservatorship is still in place.

Having a competent, qualified, non-malicious, non-abusive person controlling your life is not the same as freedom.

It might feel like a tremendous weight off of her shoulders after nearly 14 years of her father’s rule, but Britney still needs her choices signed off on.

TMZ reports that Britney and Sam are content to remain engaged before making any solid wedding plans.

The reason is the impending hearing in her conservatorship case.

For the same reason, their hunt for a new house and ironing out the prenup are also on hold.

Right now, the end of Britney’s long personal nightmare seems inevitable.

Certainly, a series of rulings in her favor — allowing her to hire her own attorney, suspending her father — point in that direction.

Public opinion and legislators on both sides of the aisle are fully on Britney’s side. It is hoped that the court will, too.

The biggest question at the moment is whether the court will require a mental evaluation before ending the conservatorship.

Britney has asked, in the strongest possible terms, that she not be put through another series of tests.

This is a woman who has been failed by countless medical professionals and drugged against her will. She has had enough.

It’s worth noting that even her awful father, Jamie Spears, backed her desire to end the conservatorship without a mental evaluation.

(We’ll explain why his motives might be not that innocent in a moment)

As TMZ noted in their own report on this topic, no one involved with the conservatorship has requested that she be evaluated before it ends.

Mental evaluations are fairly standard when conservatorships end, and legal experts say that they may be difficult to avoid.

However, it will be up to the court to decide whether Britney has to endure yet another evaluation where her whole life is in a stranger’s hands.

If she is evaluated, doctors and psychiatrists will testify in court about her cognitive capacities.

We mentioned that Jamie Spears, prior to his suspension, asked the court to end the conservatorship without an evaluation.

This sudden change of heart was not, Britney’s attorney suggested, because he woke up one morning and started loving his daughter.

Instead, it is theorized that Jamie wanted the conservatorship to end immediately in the hopes of avoiding having to give any testimony himself.

Testifying under oath about nearly 14 years of a conservatorship could give someone a lot of opportunities to get into trouble.

Lying under oath is a no-no. And he wouldn’t want to truthfully admit to wrongdoing, either.

At this point, Jamie may want this to all just go away. That ship may have sailed, however.

In recent months, stories broke about Jamie’s surveillance of Britney’s electronics and her home.

It was said that he recorded her conversations, monitored her phone, and even took audio recordings in her bedroom.

If true … this is horrifying. It may also be criminal activity.

It has been reported that the FBI is looking into the matter.

If the allegations are true, Jamie could be in serious legal trouble.

Even if he can somehow find a legal excuse for spying on Britney, it’s hard to see how he could justify spying on others — anyone not his conservator whose calls he monitored.

We can understand why Britney and Sam are hoping for a truly fresh start.

Together, they can draw up a prenup with only their attorneys involved, buy a house, and plan a wedding with no need for someone to sign off on the budget.

Britney deserves to be able to make her choices as an almost-40-year-old adult.

Britney Spears has happier things on her mind than just all of the ways that her family wronged her.

She wants justice, of course. But she also wants her happily ever after.

Britney deserves both.

Obviously, that Britney Spears and Sam Asghari plan to wed isn’t speculation.

It was obvious for many years. Britney spoke about not having the freedom to marry or have kids in court in June.

Now that they’re engaged, it’s thoroughly public knowledge.

An inside source spoke to HollywoodLife about Britney’s plans to marry Sam.

First of all, she is not particularly concerned about the price tag that the venue and ceremony will bring.

Secondly, Britney definitely wants a venue and the ceremony — the works — for her special day.

“Britney really wants a traditional romantic wedding,” the insider described.

“She wants all of their family and loved ones there,” the source added without getting specific.

“And,” the insider continued, “she does not care about costs.”

The source explained that Britney won’t hold back on the ceremony “because this has been her dream her whole life.”

“She was married once before,” the insider noted, in reference to her marriage to Kevin Federline.

Kevin, of course, is the father of her wonderful teenage sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James.

“But,” the source continued, “she really feels like her wedding to K-Fed was more of super expensive house party.”

Admittedly, the insider continued, she felt that it was a house party “with rings and cake that she had to buy.”

So not a traditional wedding in the sense of what Britney wanted.

Hold on … married once before? We distinctly remember another time.

“She doesn’t even count her Las Vegas wedding to Jason Alexander,” the source explained.

Well, she wasn’t even married to him for three days, so one can understand that.

According to the insider: “She wants bridesmaids and a beautiful gown.”

Not everyone wants a traditional ceremony — or a ceremony at all, beyond what might be required by local laws.

But Britney deserves whatever kind of wedding she wants when she married the love of her life.

We should keep in mind that she and Sam have already been together for five years.

That is longer than her marriage to Kevin Federline ever was.

(Not that it means anything, but she’s technically been with Sam for longer than both of her marriages combined)

Britney would have married Sam years ago, and he would have married her.

But she has been under a conservatorship largely controlled by her father for almost 14 years. She was forbidden from marrying.

She and fiance Sam Asghari are celebrating this triumph on an island paradise.

And there’s no better way to celebrate than in the nude, as Britney so aptly demonstrates in these joyous photos.

Britney Spears is showing off her incredible body on social media because, hey, no one can stop her.

Obviously, Instagram has infamous policies in place that prevent full nudity (butts are okay, though).

So in some of the photos, Britney is wearing barely-there bikini bottoms.

In others, the only thing that she is “wearing” is a set of tiny pink censorship emojis edited onto her photos before uploading.

Britney isn’t just a beloved singer; she is also one of the most talented and mesmerizing performers on the planet.

At 39 years old, she has the incredible body to prove it.

And, for that matter, she has all of these photos to prove it, too.

Britney also included some short video to convey the depths of her celebratory mood.

While playing “Cream” by Prince and the New Power Generation, we first see an infinity pool that overlooks a tropical beach.

The video then switches to Britney and Sam riding a boat across the crystal blue water.

We can also see Britney enjoying the dazzling ocean water while wearing just a pair of red bikini bottoms and nothing else.

During the video, we can also hear Britney quip “Awww, you shouldn’t have.”

That of course is a famous line from “Oops … I did it again.” An absolute classic.

It’s so cute to get this glimpse into Britney and Sam’s happiness.

For five years, they have not been able to live their lives quite like a normal adult couple might.

The conservatorship, created and run by her widely reviled father for nearly 14 years now, has curtailed many of Britney’s human rights.

Some might question why she’s so dang interested in being naked on Instagram.

First of all, we’d remind everyone that we don’t know what conversations or behind-the-scenes rules may have been in place.

Britney’s recent social media nudity may something that she’s doing because she can finally do so without fear of reprisal.

But we should also keep in mind that Britney and specifically her body have been under intense, relentless scrutiny since she was a minor.

Seriously, she was a teenager, still too young to vote, and grown adults were focusing upon her body, how much skin was showing, and whether she had had sex.

Britney rose to fame during the era when the media demanded that young women be extremely slender, show a massive amount of skin, and loudly proclaim that they were virgins.

One of the benefits of social media and the age of selfies is that people can claim a little more ownership over their image.

We have all seen how amazing and therapeutic this has been for many, especially women and girls, despite the downsides of the social media landscape.

We can only imagine how much more profound being able to choose which photos of her are seen by the world is for Britney.

For so many years, Britney had no control over when or how she was photographed or who saw those images.

Britney Spears and Sam Asghari Celebrate Courtroom Victory: Jamie is OUT! We Won!!

On Wednesday afternoon, long-awaited news brought joy throughout the world.

In court, Judge Brenda Penny ordered that Jamie Spears be suspended from his role as conservator over his daughter, Britney Spears.

This is what Britney wanted, in some ways, even more urgently than the dissolution of the conservatorship altogether.

Now, Britney is celebrating, fiance Sam Asghari is celebrating, and so are fans.

On Wednesday, September 29, Britney Spears’ attorney faced off against Jamie Spears’ lawyer in another conservatorship hearing.

Jamie’s attorney insisted that they really all wanted the same thing — the termination of the conservatorship.

Britney’s team argued that Jamie wants an extended mediation to end the conservatorship so that he can have delays, more money, and less scrutiny.

Judge Brenda Penny granted Britney’s request to immediately suspend Jamie Spears from the conservatorship.

Per Britney’s wishes, she appointed CPA John Zabel as temporary conservator of Britney’s estate.

Zabel is to remain in that role for now, while the fate of the conservatorship itself will be determined at a future hearing.

Britney Spears is overjoyed at the results of the hearing — and that is not speculation.

Take a look at the post that she made herself on Instagram after the hearing.

“On cloud 9 right now,” Britney announced to her fans and followers.

“First time flying a plane and first time in a prop plane!!! Geez I was scared!!!” Britney wrote alongside short videos.

In the videos, she is seen sitting beside a pilot who offered her instructions on how to operate the controls.

“What is it?” we can hear Britney inquire at one point. “That’s crazy…wow, thank you!”

We can also see Britney seeming to fly over a tropical island with breathtakingly blue water.

“Pssss bringing the ship home, JL … Stay classy beautiful people !!!!” she wrote.

Britney teased: “New pics coming soon!!!!” 

Britney was not alone in her celebratory mood.

Hunky fiance Sam Asghari also took to Instagram, notably marking his location as “Britney Army Forever.”

That might not be a place that you can find on a map, but its GPS coordinates are in our hearts.

“The power of the lioness!!” Sam wrote alongside a photo of, well, a lioness.

Notably, this has been Sam’s nickname for Britney for some time, particularly in her conservatorship battle against her father.

Sam added the hashtag: “#FreeBritney.” You know, just in case anyone wondered what he meant.

Sam cares about Britney’s conservatorship battle, first and foremost, because he loves her.

He had Britney have been together for half a decade. Just recently, they became engaged.

But Sam also has an even more personal stake in her bid for freedom: it’s his freedom, too.

Sam isn’t under a conservatorship, but the love of his life is.

For starters, Britney’s conservatorship has forbidden her from marrying Sam, which obviously blocked him from marrying her.

For that matter, they couldn’t even launch into the process of making a prenup because any negotiation involving Jamie was a non-starter.

Britney’s forced sterilization — implanted with an IUD that she was unable to remove — was also impacting Sam.

He wants to have kids with Britney, and they both know that the clock is ticking ever louder.

The violation of Britney’s fundamental human rights meant that she and Sam have had to delay growing their family.

As many have noted, Britney is freer than she was this time yesterday, but not fully free.

She is still under a conservatorship.

And while the conservator of her estate is someone whom she wanted in the role, she still needs him to sign off on her decisions.

But removing Jamie was a vital step — one that needed, her attorney argued in court, to be taken before the conservatorship ended altogether.

Britney has accused Jamie of abusing his role as conservator, and the hope is that John Zabel can uncover evidence of this as he takes the reigns.

For now, Britney and Sam should celebrate. Even if the war isn’t over, she won a key battle.
