Patrick Mendes Admits to Cheating on Thais Ramone: It’s in the Past!
On last weekend’s episode of 90 Day Fiance, Patrick Mendes left that nice house in Austin for his new home in Dallas.
Thais Ramone was less than happy with the move, mostly because John would still be living with them.
From the start, fans have been concerned about Thais, especially over her intrusive tracking of Patrick’s phone.
Now, however, we know why she went to such extremes to keep track of Patrick: he cheated on her.
In this sneak peek clip of Season 9, Episode 9 of 90 Day Fiance, Patrick Mendes gives Thais Ramone a gift.
It’s not a Christmas present, he says, but a welcome-to-America present: a new phone.
The phone does come with one caveat: he will not be giving her access to his location at every moment anymore.
Thais is very clearly less than pleased.
Though she is still going to accept the phone (he tells her that he could always refuse the gift), it feels almost like a trick.
Meanwhile, Patrick explains that the time of her tracking his location should now be over.
Patrick — along with some seemingly random bar patrons during his first episode — understood the desire to track him when she was in Brazil.
Now, though, she doesn’t have to guess when he’s asleep in his bed, because she’s in the same bed.
“This gives me a lot of anxiety, love,” Patrick explains to her.
“It feels bad when I’m with somebody and they’re the love of my life,” Patrick explains.
“And they don’t trust me,” he continues. “It doesn’t feel good.”
This is when Thais reminds Patrick that her concern about his faithfulness was not conjured out of thin air.
Thais notes that Patrick once gave her a reason to not trust him.
Patrick dismisses this as “in the past,” but she presses him to admit on camera why she is so concerned.
This is when he says that he simply “spoke to a girl” early in his relationship with Thais. But is that the truth of it?
But if all that he did was speak to another woman, then the only thing that he would have done with his mouth is, you know, form and vocalize words.
That is not the case, Thais says, since he hooked up with her.
Patrick objects, revising his story to say that all that they did was “kiss,” but a kiss is not talking, Patrick.
Patrick tries to do some mental gymnastics: “I think it’s different, like when you kiss a girl between have sex with a girl.”
One, hooking up is a deliberately vague (and downright inclusive) term that can mean everything from four-person shower sex to making out.
So, yes, they hooked up.
Two, you don’t generally get to decide that what you did physically with another person was not cheating.
You and your partner(s) set those boundaries together.
So, yes, it was cheating, even if some relationships wouldn’t consider a kiss to be cheating — that has nothing to do with Thais and Patrick.
Patrick is not taking this seriously, it seems, but Thais is clearly hurt.
On the one hand, she can’t and should not hold this over his head forever — either let him earn back your trust, or leave him.
At the same time, he needs to take her feelings seriously, even if that does not include her tracking his location anymore.
Patrick is a handsome guy who makes good money, so his behavior would have to be wildly out-of-line for the majority of 90 Day Fiance fans to dislike him.
(Case in point: Bilal and the Lifetime movie plot that he’s putting Shaeeda through)
But that doesn’t mean that Thais (who, as an attractive young woman with an accent, is baiting the fandom’s worst elements) is a bad guy, or even unreasonable.
Pastor Admits to Affair, Gets Confronted by Former 16-Year Old Victim on Stage
John Lowe II — a pastor at the New Life Christian Church and World Outreach in Warsaw, Indiana — took to the stage in front of his congregation on Sunday and tried to absolve himself of past sins.
Instead, however?
He ended up as the subject of an investigation and at the center of a viral scandal after being forced admit that he committed statutory rape.
Moreover… it was all captured on video.
The video featured on this page was shot by an attendee and it features Lowe telling parishioners early on about an affair.
“It was nearly 20 years ago,” he says. “It continued far too long. It involved one person, and there’s been no other, nor any other situations of unbecoming conduct for the last 20 years.”
Lowe then walked off the stage.. only for a man and a woman to walk up on the same stage and grab the microphone — and drop an enormous bombshell.
The woman, identified only as Bobbi, said she was the mistress to whom Lowe was referring. And that she was 16 years old when the affair began.
“For 27 years, I lived in a prison … prison of lies, lying to protect the Lowe family,” she told a stunned crowd.
“For years, I thought I was a horrible person, having suicidal thoughts, not realizing what had truly been done to me.”
She continued as follows:
“I would still be in a prison if my brother… had not approached me just two weeks ago with what he had seen as a teenager that bothered him all these years: his pastor in bed with his younger sister, a T-shirt and underwear on.
“The lies and the manipulation have to stop. I was a prisoner and you kept me in your prison.
“I’m a prisoner no longer. I was just 16 when you took my virginity on your office floor. Do you remember that?”
“You did things to my teenage body that had never, and should have never, been done,” Bobbi told Lowe directly, adding:
You are not the victim here.
The woman’s husband also chimed in, citing the “shame and guilt” he said his wife had felt for decades after the pastor “groomed” her as a teenager, referring to the ordeal as “far beyond adultery.”
The couple then walked off the stage, at which time attendees loudly pressed Lowe to “admit” what he’d done.
The pastor returned and did exactly this, confessing his so-called mistress was only 16 years old when he started sleeping with her, and adding:
“It was wrong, … I can’t make it right. That’s just the way it is. If I could go back and redo it all, I would. I can’t. All I can do is ask you to forgive me.”
According to local reports, the county prosecutor has opened up an investigation into this matter.
The church, meanwhile, released a statement Monday acknowledging Lowe’s “improper sexual conduct” and elaborating as follows:
“We are hurting and broken for a woman who has lovingly attended and served in the church for many years, as well as for her husband and family.”
Jeremy Vuolo Admits Jim Bob and Michelle Confronted Jinger Duggar Over "Immodesty"
Time after time, Jinger Duggar has defied Jim Bob and the cult’s twisted rules by wearing normal human clothing.
Technically, it’s permitted, in the sense that her “lord husband” Jeremy Vuolo gives her “permission” to participate in society in certain ways.
But fans and wary critics alike have long wondered if there’s any truth to the rumors that Jim Bob and Michelle take issue with Jinger’s attire.
The answer is yes. Jeremy testified to that effect in court, describing a confrontation between his in-laws and his wife.
Let’s first make it clear that we’re not talking about Jinger starting an OnlyFans, posting non-facial orifices on Twitter, or trying to #FreeTheNipple on Instagram.
Those are all perfectly fine things to do for anyone who wishes to.
But Jinger’s “violations” are a little harder to explain to those unfamiliar with the Duggar family’s twisted worldview.
Jinger wears pants, she has styled and dyed her hair, and she and her husband have even shared photos of themselves drinking moderately.
Only in the cultural extremes of a fundamentalist cult are these kinds of activities seen as scandalous.
But that is Jinger’s background. Time after time, things like baring her shoulders has taken longtime fans aback, purely because they know the sexist rules by which Jinger was raised.
As for the confrontation, The Sun got their hands on unsealed court documents from the now-dismissed case in Arkansas.
Jinger’s husband, Jeremy, offered a deposition during the case last year, and was asked about Jim Bob and Michelle.
When asked if his in-laws had expressed “opinions about any different convictions” that he and Jinger have, he answered “yes.”
Jeremy provided an example as part of his deposition: “They’ve spoken to us about – what was it – I guess modesty is one.”
He admitted: “We’ve had a couple of conversations.”
Jeremy then answered “yes” when the attorney asked about Jinger choosing to “wear pants on occasion.”
Jeremy confirmed what the entire world already knows — that Michelle does not wear pants.
“Is that the question of modesty that they talk to you about; pants versus skirts?” the attorney asked.
“In a way, yes. I mean, not that exact word,” Jeremy answered.
“They just shared their – their thoughts on women wearing dresses, I guess,” Jeremy summarized.
He cited: “I remember Mrs. Duggar just sharing her own personal journey of modesty.”
Jeremy then disagreed with the idea that Jinger in any way “dresses in an immodest way.”
Jeremy’s deposition also touched on other topics, and so did Jinger.
They acknowledged that they are not intent upon breeding enough children to populate a small nation in the way that Jim Bob and Michelle are.
He and Jinger are very conservative Christians by normal societal standards, but less extreme than the cult in which Jinger grew up.
Jeremy was also asked about emotional distance from his in-laws, particularly in light of the move to California.
“There – perhaps. I think, though, diagnosing that would be difficult,” he admitted.
““I think as you grow and have your own family, kids, and life,” Jeremy said. “You know, you go from, like, seeing everyone every day to talking to everyone every day to, you know.”
Erika Jayne Admits Mixing Alcohol and Prescription Meds: I Didn’t Know I’d Act Like This!
Now that this season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has begun, Erika Jayne knows that she went too far at times.
She knows that viewers are going to have a lot to say about her behavior.
It turns out that some of it, at least, has an explanation.
Erika admits that she mixed her prescription medications with alcohol, with disastrous and embarrassing results.
Erika Jayne opened up to Us Weekly, sharing that she had no idea that her medications could have such potent interactions.
“Well, look, I’ve been very open and honest,” she began.
Erika confessed: “I mixed alcohol and antidepressants.”
Erika continued: “which I didn’t know that it would make you this drunk and it did.”
“I do not have a problem,” she asserted.
“And,” Erika went on, “lesson learned and we go on.”
Erika warned: “I mean, are you gonna see a moment that, you know, you will probably be like, ‘Is that Erika?’”
She admitted: “And the answer is yeah. I mean, that was me.”
Erika explained: “At that time, it was really difficult because there were moments that I didn’t wanna get out of bed.”
Erika added that these were “more than moments, there were days and you have to do that.”
She then got almost painfully, show-breakingly real.
“And let’s be honest, you know, you’re sitting at these parties and some of these women are kind of boring,” Erika reminded everyone.
“So you have a drink [and then] you have another drink,” Erika said.
“And then you’re like, ‘Where am I?’” she reasoned.
“So, you know, it’s not that I was drinking a lot,” Erika clarified. “It’s just that I was drinking while being medicated.”
Embarrassing though her actions may be, Erika insisted that she does not personally feel “embarrassed” by her on-screen behavior.
“You know, some of my behavior was not great, but it’s also very real,” she pointed out.
“It’s also part of life,” Erika argued, “and I wouldn’t be the first person that this happened to and won’t be the last.”
Erika explained that, just like last season, her mindset was focused on self-preservation as her entire life has been torn apart.
“My mindset was survival, like it was the season before,” she described.
“The season before was a real fallout [and] this season is really trying to pull yourself together and go on,” Erika detailed.
“And, you know, it was tough,” Erika characterized. “But ultimately I’ll get there.”
She stated: “It’s part of the human experience.”
Erika elaborated: “I mean, you can’t go through what I have gone through the previous season and not feel something and not feel great and not want to have a good time.”
“I wanted to have some fun,” Erika explained.
“I wanted to not feel so heavy,” she went on, “and that’s what I did.”
Erika did also concede that she is often “misunderstood.” That seems likely.

Khloe Kardashian Admits Secret Reconciliation with Tristan Thompson on The Kardashians
On this week’s episode of The Kardashians, a lot of the focus was on Kourtney’s engagement and everyone’s feelings.
But there were other hot topics, from Kanye’s post-SNL meltdown at Kim to Khloe playing mediator.
Khloe was a little too good at making peace in her own life, however.
She revealed a secret reconciliation with serial cheater Tristan Thompson, confirming that she was with him while his latest baby mama neared her due date.
As the Kardashians and Jenners got together on Episode 4 of The Kardashians, Khloe Kardashian arrived with a plus one.
That was Tristan Thompson, the man who has been cheating on her, breaking her heart, and then somehow worming his way back into her life for several years.
In a scene filmed in October of 2021, months after she reportedly dumped him for cheating yet again (but before Maralee Nichols gave birth to his baby), Khloe shared that they’d reconciled.
Khloe shared that she and Tristan had “just got back together” before Travis proposed to Kourtney.
“Tristan flew in for the proposal,” she detailed. “This was something he was not going to miss.”
Kris even tried to “jokingly” nudge Tristan into proposing. Thankfully, he did not do as she commanded.
“We’re good. We’re actually in a really good place,” Khloe detailed.
“We just got back together,” she reported. “He’s been going to therapy a lot.”
Khloe, presumably unaware that Maralee Nichols was in her third trimester at the time, claimed: “There’s just been a lot of effort on his part.”
Khloe claimed that it’s “so fun” when Tristan is around as more than just a co-parent.
She also expressed how much she enjoyed seeing him bond with their daughter.
Khloe made no direct acknowledgement of the extremes of Tristan’s cheating — with models, with family friends, and beyond.
Instead, Khloe gushed about how “optimistic” she was feeling about their future together.
Again, this was in October of 2021 — more than half a year before the episode aired.
While Khloe was presumably still being kept in the dark about Maralee’s pregnancy, it’s not like she didn’t know the rest of Tristan’s history.
In June of 2021, it was reported that Khloe had once again broken up with Tristan — just months after defending their reconciliation on the post-KUWTK Reunion.
At that time, model Syndey Chase had just accused Tristan of having slept with her.
One has to assume that Tristan promised Khloe that this would be the last time, for real. And hey, maybe it was.
But Tristan had also slept with Maralee Nichols, another model. She, however, had become pregnant.
After she sued him for paternity, Tristan repeatedly insisted that he was not the father … only to later confirm that, yes, the child was his.
Khloe must have been heartbroken. This being extremely unsurprising does not make it less hurtful.
It is unclear how much of the truth about Tristan we will see on this first season of The Kardashians.
However, it’s also unclear how final this “final” breakup will really be.
Tristan has been giving Khloe extremely good reasons to leave him permanently dumped for more than four years now. What if there is no final straw?
