It’s been known for some time that Anna Duggar is still going over to “visit” Josh while he’s on home confinement.
We now know a lot more about how these awkward conjugal visits (or something along those lines) are going.
First of all, Anna is practically living there, where she can “attend” to her disgraced husband in the final months before his trial.
She’s a pregnant mother of six, so she’s relying on family to take care of her kids while she devotes her time to Josh.
Multiple inside sources have spoken about how Josh Duggar is enjoying all of the comforts of home while on confinement.
Staying in the sprawling home of the Rebers, he even has his wife, Anna, there.
It seems that her utter conviction that he is innocent and somehow a victim in all of this makes her see this situation through a different lens than the rest of us.
As such, she cannot shirk her wifely duties.
One insider tells The Sun that Anna has made the Rebers’ household her second home these days.
“Anna is spending most of her time with Josh at the Rebers,” the source shared.
“And,” the insider added, “her family have stepped in to help raise all their kids.”
That doesn’t mean that her six innocent children aren’t brought before the notorious predator, either.
Josh is banned from living with minors or seeing them – without supervision. Anna can supervise.
“She takes them to visit him,” the source noted, confirming a slew of previous reports.
“Or,” the insider continued, “they are looked after while she’s there alone.”
What kind of person would stomach spending time with a man facing Josh’s charges, let alone let him spend time around kids?
In this case, it sounds like a willfully naive one.
“Despite what he’s been charged with,” the source emphasized, “she refuses to believe he’s guilty.”
“Anna has pretty much moved in” to the Reber household, the insider characterized.
“But,” the source noted, “she’s still not on good terms with Mrs Reber.”
This bitter feud apparently dates back to when Mrs. Reber told the truth in court when the judge was determining Josh’s bond conditions.
“She’s disappointed she said in his bail hearing she didn’t feel safe around Josh alone,” the insider added.
And it sounds like, to some extent, the feeling is mutual.
“Mrs Reber doesn’t really want her there,” the source continued, “because they don’t get along.”
Of course, Maria Reber is not the only familial target for Anna’s ire in the wake of her husband’s downfall.
Josh’s number-one defender has also run into conflict with Jim Bob and Michelle.
Normally, any distance from those two monsters is a good thing, but in this case, Anna has the worst reasons.
As a result of Anna’s apparent denial, her children are spending less and less time around Josh’s relatives.
While Anna has reportedly been staying in a “mother-in-law suite” at the Reber home, her kids have been elsewhere.
“Her family have been helping with the kids,” an insider shared, “especially her sister Priscilla and her husband David.”
“Anna is really struggling with Josh’s arrest,” a source explained.
“And,” that insider continued, “she’s still at war with his parents Jim Bob and Michelle.”
Somehow, Anna is said to simultaneously deny that Josh did anything wrong while also blaming everyone in his life for this.
“She has been pointing the finger at everyone else for what has happened to Josh,” the source detailed.
“She’s falling out with family members,’ the insider added, “and isolating herself.”
“Overall, this is an extremely difficult time for Anna,” the source added of the pregnant cultist.
“And,” the source shared, “she is praying Josh gets off.”
The insider added that “although she believes him, she is worried about the outcome of the case and their family’s future.”
Apparently Counting On’s end has added to Anna’s “financial difficulty,” as she previously received small payments (presumably from Jim Bob) for her appearances.
Josh Duggar is still awaiting his trial, and reportedly Anna Duggar still thinks he’s being framed.
She is also very pregnant, with her due date coming up this autumn, which is only a couple of months away.
Things are worse than they have ever been between Anna and her in-laws.
Between the blame game and the cold shoulder … how are Jim Bob and Michelle going to react when this baby comes?
For years, Anna and Josh have been inching their way back into the spotlight.
Prior to Counting On’s overdue cancelation, Anna made appearances on the show … one just a month before Josh’s arrest.
Following that arrest, however, Anna has gone to ground on social media.
Anna has not been posting on Instagram, adding Stories, or otherwise sharing with fans and followers.
This has gone on for months following Josh’s arrest.
He was charged with downloading photos and video of the sexual abuse of extremely young girls.
Not all of the Duggars are active on social media, and “active” is relative — meaning different things for different family members.
But this is unusual for Anna, though not surprising.
It is difficult to imagine that she wants to hear what anyone has to say right now unless they’re willing to humor her.
And by humor her … reports say that those closest to the Duggars have heard that Anna’s mind is in a weird place.
She has allegedly blamed Jim Bob and Michelle for Josh’s arrest.
While there’s no question that they and their cult created the perfect environment for a budding sexual predator to grow up in, that’s not what she means.
Even more alarming is Anna’s apparent fixation on the idea that Josh is innocent.
Obviously, the prosecution will have to prove their case in court, despite Josh’s history of actual, physical child-molestation.
But it sounds like, from reports, Anna believes that he is being persecuted or even framed. That seems a little nuts.
Anna’s feud with her in-laws (seemingly with all of Josh’s relatives) raises some questions.
She’s reportedly not welcome at the Duggar house even though she still lives in a lovely … warehouse.
The Duggars are usually all about announcing weddings and their endless childbirths. Usually.
This time could be different, as social media users fascinated by the Duggar family and their cult now speculate.
Without a reality series to promote, amidst a feud and an upcoming trial … what will Jim Bob and Michelle do?
“I sort of think it would be in their best interest at this point to just pretend that Josh and his whole family don’t exist,” one redditor suggested.
“I’m thinking maybe they’ll announce ‘our newest grandchild’ on the Duggar [family] Instagram account,” another wrote.
The comment continued: “with no mention of Josh or Anna and the comments turned off.”
The user then added: “Or make it a story post.
But not everyone in the conversation had the same prediction.
“They’ll frame the birth as a blessing in a season of struggle saying how it deepens their faith,” a commenter quipped.
Only time will tell, and a lot could change between now and then. But will Anna and her in-laws mend fences or feud even harder?

If Anna simply believed that Josh wouldn’t download photos and video of extremely young girls being sexually abused, that would be one thing.
But Anna is taking her apparent denial to new heights.
For one thing, she reportedly believes that Josh is being persecuted and perhaps framed.
She also seems to be blaming everyone except for Josh for his current circumstances.
According to reports about Anna, Anna has been defending Josh to anyone who will listen — and to many who won’t.
She has been cutting ties with Jim Bob and Michelle.
Normally, that would be commendible for anyone, but under the circumstances, it’s not a great sign.

When Josh was a teenager, he molested five young girls, four of whom were his own sisters.
Anna’s denial is not doing her children any favors. It’s not helping her, either.
But then, for her entire life, she has been groomed to serve her husband’s needs instead of having her own.
In her mind, she’s doing the right thing, and God is backing her up. No evidence or common sense could outweigh that.

Of course, being snubbed by so many of her in-laws in such a public way may have been her own doing.
No one is (publicly) suggesting that it was Anna’s job to magically stop her husband from being a disgusting monster.
But while Anna didn’t choose Josh’s actions for him, she arguably chose her reactions to them.
Report after report has come out and revealed that Anna believes that Josh is innocent.
This isn’t just a case of believing that he’s been magically cured through prayer or that he just needs another fake rehab stint.
It has been reported that Anna is actually going so far as to clash with Jim Bob over the charges against Josh.
When you’re in a cult, like the Duggar family is, it’s “normal” to engage in magical thinking about reality.
We’re not talking about their religious views. “Magical thinking” is basically referring to how people wish away problems.
Anna is taking things a step further … by reportedly believing that Josh isn’t just innocent, but the real victim in all of this.
It is said that Anna believes that Josh is being actively persecuted, perhaps due to his extreme religious beliefs.
Reportedly, she believes that his arrest would never have happened under the administration of disgraced former president Donald Trump.
Anna seems to blame President Biden for the arrest … one stemming from a 2019 investigation.
The thing about conspiracy theories is that they don’t have to make rational sense.
The goal of many conspiracy theories is to bring comfort to people by imposing a false sense of order in order to explain events.
In this case, Anna would rather clash with her in-laws and ignore reality than accept what sort of creature her husband really is.
