As you’ve no doubt heard by now, Jenelle Evans has filed for divorce from David Eason.

Now, this is Jenelle we’re talking about, so there’s a good chance she’s lying, and this is all just a last-ditch effort to save her career.

But for the time being at least, the Easons are living in separate states (Jenelle in Tennessee; David in North Carolina).

And if we the version of events offered by sources close to Jenelle, she’d be perfectly happy if it stayed that way.

In fact, it seems she reportedly has no problem with allowing David to remain on the property they obnoxiously dubbed “The Land” — but only if he grants of custody of the couple’s 2-year-old daughter, Ensley.

You probably won’t be seeing any pics like this one for a while. Jenelle and David have called it quits, and sources close to the couple say they did not part on good terms.

Jenelle and David were always the least-popular couple in the Teen Mom universe. But their reputation really took a nosedive in May of this year.

Have you heard the good news?

It looks like Teen Mom 2 terror Jenelle Evans has finally up and left that swamp monster she married, David Eason.

Yep, after all the horrible things he’s done, both alleged and proven, she somehow gathered enough sense to leave.

We would love to celebrate this long-overdue piece of news, but unfortunately, David is making that a little difficult.

Because – surprise! – he’s being true to form … and by that we mean he’s being a great big creep about all of this.

1. The Unhappy Couple

Honestly, Jenelle should have left David ages ago. It would have been even more ideal if she never married him, and in a perfect world, she never would have met him at all, but we can’t change the past, can we?

2. Credit Due

Besides, it takes a lot for an abuse victim to leave their abuser, so it’s hard to criticize her for the timeline here. Because if there’s one thing we’ve learned about David in all the time we’ve known of him, it’s that he’s an abuser.

3. Poor Kaiser

We’ve heard all the reports about how David was allegedly violent with Kaiser, and we’ve even seen the photos of the marks on his backside which Nathan Griffith claimed were from his abuse.

4. Horrifying

We’ve heard the 911 call from Jenelle in which she cried to the operator that he’d knocked her to the ground so hard that she thought he broke her collarbone.

5. Ugh

There was even a second 911 call from Jenelle in which she said that he was being violent and destructive, and that he even destroyed their front door.

6. Let’s See

What else … we’ve seen the court documents from his ex in which she claimed he was abusive to her while she was pregnant with their child, that was awful.

One of Jenelle and David’s favorite breakup moves is to remove all the relationship info from their Facebook accounts. You might remember this tactic from your own days in middle school.

4. Blank Space

This time, both parties have erased any mention of their marriage from their “About” section. Sadly, we don’t know which Eason was the first to wipe the slate clean.

David followed that up with what appears to be a cornball post-breakup dad joke. Hey, at least he thinks he’s funny!

David Eason was born and raised a country boy in the wilds of North Carolina, OK?

He’s probably the biggest country boy you’ve ever even heard of. No one in this whole entire country has ever or will ever be as country as him.

At least that’s what he and Jenelle Evans would like everyone to believe.

4. Gross

Every time he’s done something awful, Jenelle’s made some kind of statement about how “that’s just how he was raised, he doesn’t know any better.”

5. Memories

Remember when he made all those gross homophobic and transphobic statements on Twitter last year, the ones that got him fired? That’s the excuse he gave then, that he was raised to hate all gay people and so we can’t really blame him for it. Seriously, that’s what she said.

And after he killed Nugget — well, after he killed Nugget and the police decided to close their investigation — she said the same thing. He even cried during an interview because he simply didn’t realize that violently killing a family pet would be such a big deal.

As we said, Jenelle has never been much of an animal lover — remember back in the day on Teen Mom 2 when she crammed her two big dogs in one crate, yelled at them, then opened the door for them to go outside and tried to get them to run away?

Or what about the time she tried to get her dog to play fetch with a lit firework?

And then there was the the time when her dog started showing up in photos with what very much looked like a broken tail. She never seemed too concerned about that.

All of that was truly awful, but it was nothing when compared to what David did to Nugget.

5. Poor Pup

Nugget was Jenelle’s little French bulldog, and she appeared to be especially attached to it. But when the dog nipped at Ensley, David thought that instead of trying to train the dog or teach his kids how to interact with animals, he’d just take the dog outside and shoot it.

6. A Mystery

Some reports claimed that he beat the dog before killing it, others claimed that when he came back inside afterwards, he was covered in blood. Even if none of that was true, the fact remains that he killed the poor little dog, and that clearly was not OK.

Cole DeBoer is Chelsea Houska’s husband, and thank goodness for that. He’s a wonderful stepfather to Aubree (and he’s made it clear that he’s ready to adopt her if/when Adam gives up his parental rights for her like he did with his other child), he and Chelsea have had two precious babies together so far, and ever since he first came on the show, he’s been perfect.

He’s an easy number one, y’all.

2. Taylor McKinney

Taylor McKinney is Maci Bookout’s husband, and they share two children together, Jayde and Maverick — and they’re often talking about having more, whether it’s through more pregnancies or fostering and adoption. They’re also raising Bentley, the son Maci had with Ryan Edwards, and it’s safe to say that Taylor is doing all the heavy dad lifting there, too. Sure, Taylor drinks Bud Light like it’s water and he’s in a desert, but he’s an amazing father.

3. Tyler Baltierra

Tyler Baltierra has been with Catelynn Lowell since they were 12 years old (yes, literally), and when she got pregnant at 16, they placed their daughter up for adoption. They’ve since had two more children, daughters Nova and Vaeda, and they’ve been through just a lot of stuff together. He can be pretty insensitive sometimes, but he’s proven that he’s one of the best dads and husbands in the whole franchise.

4. Gary Shirley

Let’s just say it: Gary was not great in the early days of Teen Mom. He never did anything to deserve being abused by Amber, to be clear, but he was kind of a jerk. Fortunately he’s matured a bit over the years, and he seems like a great father to Leah and Emilee, the daughter he shares with wife Kristina. And thank goodness for that, because it looks like Amber may be headed back to prison soon.

5. Andrew Glennon

Oh, Andrew … where do we begin? He loses points for his history of restraining orders, but the way he’s stepped up for baby James after Amber’s horrifying meltdown in July is definitely commendable. Since the arrest, we’ve heard plenty of evidence that’s proved that she’d been abusing him for nearly a year before the July assault, and Andrew has said that she’d even been rough with James, too. It looks like he’s placing James’ safety and wellbeing above all else, and if that’s not being a good dad, what is?

6. Corey Simms

Corey Simms was married to Leah Messer, and they had twins Ali and Gracie. They got divorced when Leah couldn’t stay faithful to him (and also because they had twins and got married when they were teenagers), but Corey’s been a good father, and a good coparent with Leah. He’s just a good ol’ boy, y’all.

In fact, she quickly became persona non grata at her first get-together with the cast – with one exception. Jenelle Evans, Briana said, “is the only one who was acting like her s–t ain’t stink. Plus she was the only one who wasn’t acting fake and choosing sides.” Leah Messer’s response was to “pay no attention to those who try to bring you down … they’re just envious of where you are and how well you’re doing.” As we’ll get to in a bit, relations haven’t exactly gotten more amicable in the months since.

34. Maci Bookout vs. Taylor McKinney

Maci Bookout and Taylor McKinney’s relationship has produced three kids, and they seem very happily married … most of the time. Like, 85 percent of the time. Bookout alarmed fans with this confession earlier in the year that revealed some trouble in paradise: “Eighty-five percent of the time we’re good to go … Fifteen percent is hell. All of our stress and emotions, we take out on each other. When the cameras leave, we’ll drink and freak out. It’s always literally the smallest things. It’s such small stuff but it blows up. It’s not going to go away.” Yikes … but at least they are self-aware and working on things?

33. Matt Baier vs. Amber Portwood … The Eruption

Things neared a boiling point between Amber Portwood and Matt Baier after he vowed that would never marry her … because she wouldn’t marry him on the spot in Las Vegas, obviously. “I will not marry her,” he said. “I will not marry her now, ever! I’m not gonna let her [brother] dictate my life. That f—king f—got. She wants to marry her brother. That’s who she wants to marry. F—k her. She just humiliated me on TV. I’m done!” Matt, who was livid at Amber’s reasoning for not eloping in Vegas – her brother Shawn not being present – went on to tell a producer, “I don’t care who you have to give oral pleasure to, keep the Amber and Matt wedding thing off [the air]. She just embarrassed me in front of 12 million people.” We’re pretty sure you did that to yourself, Matt …

Earlier this year, the couple’s engagement ended after Brooke accused Jeremy of cheating on her with multiple women, one being a Teen Mom 2 producer, another being her best friend, and a third possibly being his ex-wife Leah Messer. Oh yes. Brooke even shared a screen shot of a text message conversation between Jeremy and the best friend as proof, while Calvert responded in a drunken stupor that yes, maybe he did sleep with Brooke’s best friend, but … only because Wehr slept with some other guy first. Or, as he put it, Brooke was “f-cking his brains out, every day,” and he was single, so “my dick was happy to do whatever the f-ck it wanted to do, and it did.” Shocking that these two didn’t work out … but neither party was completely off base with their allegations. Just saying. Jeremy and Leah did hook up.

31. Jenelle Evans vs. David Eason

From the get-go, it’s been Jenelle Evans and husband David Eason against the world, but at times, they’ve been at each other’s throats as well. Arguments between the two were commonplace throughout recent seasons of Teen Mom 2, and one particularly heated argument resulted in them calling off their wedding … the night before the wedding. (They ultimately got married as planned.) Bad tempers are one thing, but the most troubling aspect is that David has been accused of mistreating/abusing Jenelle’s son Kaiser because he reminds him of Kaiser’s dad, Nathan Griffith. He also doesn’t get along with her mom, at all, further driving a wedge between the Evans women.

30. Briana DeJesus vs. Luis Miguel

About as one-sided as a feud can get, but a feud just the same: Briana DeJesus got pregnant for the second time during a brief relationship with this guy, then promptly pulled the plug after discovering he was unfaithful. Luis’ public dressing down marked Briana’s return to the Teen Mom fold (she joined Teen Mom 2 for the first time this season following stints on Teen Mom 3 and 16 & Pregnant) and cemented her firebrand reputation. Probably the only positive thing, if you can call it that, is that she’s moved on to other feuds.
