Erika Jayne Compares Legal Situation to Jesus, Gets Slammed by EVERYONE

Even after filming Erika Jayne getting skewered by Andy Cohen on the Reunion, producers want more of Erika.

From a reality television perspective, that makes a lot of sense — film the drama.

But a lot of fans are enraged, not only by Erika’s scandal, but by her public reaction to the scandal.

Erika is acting like she’s being persecuted … even comparing herself to Jesus.

Erika Jayne leans in (rhobh s11 reunion preview)

Jesus, Erika.

As always, we want to convey the full context of this.

It all starts with one of the attorneys who is looking into Erika, into Tom Girardi, and a lot of missing money.

Ronald Richards is an attorney who is overseeing the liquidation of Tom’s firm.

He has made the rounds, doing interviews and podcasts and releasting statements.

More than once, Richards has shared suspicions about how Erika might allegedly have been involved, directly or indirectly, in Tom’s case.

Erika Jayne vs Sutton Stracke (rhobh s11 reunion preview)

So a superfan of Erika’s took to Instagram to call out Ronald Richards … and to call for him to be disbarred.

The fan accused that Richards has “undermined the judicial system.”

Allegedly this was done “by making accusations & insinuations in hopes it will inspire public opinion to override the courts.”

“This behavior is dangerous & reckless for our society!” the superfan exclaimed.

The post added that “Everyone should take notice.”

“This is exactly how CHRIST died,” the superfan’s Instagram Story post concluded.

jayne, jesus

What does this have to do with Erika beyond being literally about her?

Well … because she chose to share that post to her own Instagram Stories.

Sharing a post is almost always an endorsement, unless it’s a mistake.

In this case, it looks like Erika did both — because endorsing this post by sharing it was a mistake.

There are plenty of pro-Erika stances floating around social media that are not this inflammatory.

Calling for the opposing attorney to be disbarred is a lot. The Jesus comparison is … well, a lot more.

Andy Cohen challenges Erika Jayne (rhobh s11 reunion preview)

“Erika Jayne comparing herself to Christ is … absolutely insane,” tweeted on horror-struck critic.

The fan’s tweet continued: “This woman has lost her damn mind.”

The comparison did draw to mind a former Real Housewives OG, however.

Vicki Gunvalson - I'm being nailed to the cross like jesus was

“Erika Jayne is pulling a Vicki Gunvalson comparing her own (self imposed) drama to the crucifixion of Christ…..” another marveled.

That social media user added: “Girl PUHLEASEEEEEEE!”

Memorably, Vicki once said that she was being “nailed to the cross like Jesus was.” Ma’am, no.

Erika Jayne IG defends jesus comparison

“This is not a post comparing @theprettymess to Christ,” Erika insisted in a follow-up post.

“It’s comparing an unethical lawyer who is trying to undermine this judicial system,” she claimed.

Erika said that this was done “by persuading the courts to ACT based on public opinion and not by the law.”

“Just like the pharisees did to Christ,” Erika seemingly could not help but add.

According to Christian religious tradition, high-ranking officials at the Jewish Temple were responsible for Jesus’ execution.

It is also a core of Christian theology that Jesus’ death was his choice, and the means by which all of humanity could be redeemed.

Historically speaking, Jesus was executed by the state, and specifically by means of crucifixion.

The means of death indicates that Jesus may have been viewed as a threat to continued Roman rule.

While higher-ranking residents of Judea would have been obligated to report any signs of rebellion or insurrection, it’s unclear what role they would have played.

Erika Jayne vs Sutton Stracke (rhobh s11 reunion preview)

We mention all of this to say that, simply put, no version of history or theological accounts of Jesus mesh with the comparison.

It’s a bad analogy. And you know, people make bad analogies all of the time.

But when you’re backed into a corner and have lost almost all shreds of your popularity, it’s arguably the worst time make a reach like this.

Erika Jayne SKEWERED by Andy Cohen in RHOBH Reunion Trailer: Who Believes Erika?

We had already heard that Erika Jayne got into a screaming match with Andy Cohen at the Season 11 Reunion.

Now, the trailer has dropped — on Erika’s Instagram, of all places.

We’re getting a little taste of what it looks like with Erika in the hotseat.

Andy has a lot of questions, and it doesn’t look like any of the cast are in Erika’s corner.

On Wednesday, October 6, Erika Jayne took to Instagram to drop the The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Reunion trailer.

Her storyline has been a flashpoint for audience members and fellow cast members alike throughout Season 11.

Erika’s eyebrow-raising caption reads: “The champ is here. Me.” Oh, dear.

The Reunion will be in four parts, which explains why the trailer is so darn long.

We included a clip here that highlights just how intense the grilling of Erika is.

Erika has some bones to pick, too, feeling stabbed in the back by her castmates.

“You and your husband,” Erika accuses Dorit Kemsley, “and you and your husband,” she points to Kyle Richards.

She accuses them both of “laughing at my f–ked up life.”

Erika reminds them: “I can’t control what Tom Girardi did.” Ouch.

“The way that you spoke to me,” Sutton Stracke challenges Erika, “was not okay.”

“You were being a bitchy f–king c–t,” Erika fires back.

We see Kyle, mouth agape in shock, at the exchange.

“We’re gonna put you on a skewer, and I’m gonna fire up the barbecue,” Andy warns Erika in the preview.

He starts off hot, asking: “Why didn’t you leave Tom sooner?”

“Where was I going?” Erika replies, resulting in Andy challenging her: “I know what you make on this show.”

In other words, there are many people who financially are not able to divorce their husbands.

Erika’s net worth gave her more options than many, no matter how the divorce went.

At least, before all of this came out last year.

Andy points out that it was reported that Tom deposited as much as $20 million into Erika’s business account.

He then asks the cast who among them actually believes Erika’s version of events.

A distraught Erika asks: “Can someone please back me the f–k up on what I’m saying?”

Erika’s timeline of Tom’s diminishing mental capacity also comes into question.

More to the point, Andy says, Erika just isn’t as sympathetic or playing this as expected.

He tells her that her fiery persona “lands differently when there are air crash victims.”

Of course, Erika is not the sole focus of the Reunion, not even in the full trailer.

Crystal Kung Minkoff also addresses the vicious racist backlash that she has received for appearing on the show.

The cruelty that has been aimed at her over social media is unspeakable. Some people are simply evil.

Kathy Hilton also participates in at least part of the Reunion and has an emotional time during it.

Garcelle and Dorit seem to clash, and Garcelle also comes into conflict with Lisa Rinna.

For that matter, Garcelle seems to openly ask what exactly her castmates want from her, since nothing seems to please them.

No matter what, this four-part Reunion is going to be a mess.

The first part premieres on October 13 — one week from today.

Will it be a chaotic nightmare? Yes. Would we miss it for anything? Absolutely not.

Erika Jayne CLASHES with Andy Cohen in Reunion Screaming Match [Report]

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills‘ explosive Reunion special was too much for the traditional breakdown.

It’s going to air in four parts, and we all know that Erika Jayne played a huge role in that.

What we’re only now learning is the content of Erika’s contribution.

Namely, it’s a huge, screaming fight … and it’s not with her castmates. It’s with Andy.

Erika Jayne has been quick to hint on social media that she is behind the Reunion’s extended release format.

“Hint” is actually an understatement. She all but directly claimed it.

Obviously, her castmates will have plenty to say, and there were other storylines worth covering.

But HollywoodLife reports that at least part of the Reunion’s taping included a full-on screaming match.

The fight went down between Erika Jayne and Andy Cohen.

It’s not just an incident. Apparently, it was the central conflict.

“Most of the fighting was actually done [between] Andy and Erika,” the insider reported.

“And,” the source dished, “it is what a lot of the reunion will be about.”

That will be very interesting to witness.

The report does emphasize that Erika knows that the entire world has questions for her.

Make that a lot of questions.

Also, she has reportedly been pretty open about answering them.

Additionally, the report emphasizes that Erika understands that Andy is fulfilling his role as host.

“Erika isn’t mad at all at Andy,” the insider added.

“And,” the source concluded, “she understands he had a job to do.”

Like the Housewives themselves, Andy has a professional obligation to provide entertainment and drama on camera.

There are certain lines that he and Bravo will not cross, often for legal reasons.

For example, they declined to air certain details of Madison LeCroy’s love life on a memorable Reunion of Southern Charm.

But Andy also has to ask the Housewives questions, even questions that make them uncomfortable.

It can be awkward, especially considering that there are social friendships in play also.

That’s always the nature of the franchise, though. Many of these people are genuine friends … which is what makes their fights so real.

In Andy’s case, he knows that he has to press on certain issues and ask specific questions.

The Reunion isn’t just about seeing what has changed and where things stand, to touch base so many months after filming.

It also exists to give a sense of closure for the audience, to at times break the fourth wall and get more direct with the cast.

So Andy’s role is to faciliate all of that, even if it means duking it out (verbally) with the cast.

But the Reunion also serves another purpose that is very relevant for Erika and her castmates.

it’s effectively an audition for returning the following season.

Obviously, some people know that their return is either certain or absolutely out of the question.

But in most cases, the Housewives know that they might face a reduced role — or be offered nothing.

Having a strong presence at the Reunion, one that is both memorable and evocative, can make all of the difference.

Erika, to be blunt, needs this job. She has been hemorrhaging money and it’s impacting her lifestyle.

Whatever she knew and whenever she knew it aside, she knows that she must continue to bring her A-game if she wants those juicy Bravo checks.

Her ludicrously expensive glam squad doesn’t pay for itself. And she’ll quarrel with Andy all day if the pay is right.

Bethenny Frankel: Erika Jayne is Too Broke to Quit Real Housewives!

Last week, Bethenny Frankel said that Tom Girardi’s financial mess was an open secret for years.

She said that she herself had personal knowledge of him owing millions, borrowing from other wealthy associates.

It’s no secret (open or otherwise) that Erika Jayne may be on the hook for her estranged husband’s tremendous debts.

Bethenny says that Erika is clinging to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills because she desperately needs cash.

On Tuesday, September 28’s episde of Bethenny Frankel’s Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast, the RHONY alum again brought up Erika Jayne.

“She needs the money,” Bethenny pointed out.

That, she says, is why Erika continues to demean herself — no matter how it makes her look — on the show.

“She’s on the show, which is not a great idea,” Bethenny explained.

It’s often unwise to discuss an ongoing legal case on camera “because they’re investigating the whole thing.”

Most defense attorneys would advise against discussing something like that on TV … but then, defense attorneys also need to be paid.

“But probably [it’s] something she needs or wants to do for her livelihood,” Bethenny assessed.

“I think she did the show because she likes fame,” she speculated.

“And,” Bethenny opined of Erika, “she wants to stay relevant.”

Bethenny also made it extremely clear that this speculation is not based upon any sort of personal relationship.

“I don’t quote-unquote know Erika Jayne,” she clarified.

“I’ve met her,” Bethenny confirmed.

“And,” Bethenny continued, “we’ve done this sort of Instagram thing.”

She added: “and she was at my house doing the crossover ‘Housewives’ episode.”

But that is the tall and short of it.

“I have no idea if she knew [about Tom’s actions],” Bethenny strongly emphasized.

“I know nothing about their marriage,” she stressed, “nothing about their life.”

Bethenny wisely expressed: “We’re not all experts on someone else’s lives.”

In addition to being a fellow part of the Housewives franchise (alum or not, Bethenny is always relevant), Bethenny has other insights.

She is herself a tremendously wealthy woman, and travels in wealthy circles.

Bethenny has also had some of her own painful drama play out on reality television — notably, her lengthy and agonizing divorce.

However, Erika’s attorney insists (in a statement to Page Six) that Bethenny has no real knowledge about Erika’s situation.

“Erika has no knowledge of the alleged loans or the conversations referred to by Ms. Frankel,” the attorney said.

The lawyer continued to say that these were conversations “which even per Ms. Frankel, didn’t involve Erika.”

“To me, this is another example of people trying to throw dirt on Erika based on alleged conversations,” Erika’s attorney opined.

That may be so, but is Bethenny actually saying anything unkind about Erika?

Is she even accusing her of anything?

To us, it sounds like Bethenny is discussing Erika’s situation without accusing her of knowing or doing anything wrong.

Needing money from a hefty reality TV paycheck is not an accusation — very few if any Housewives have done the show purely for fun.

Bethenny might be getting more attention for her podcast by bringing up Erika, but that doesn’t hurt Erika, does it?

Bethenny has made other comments on her podcast recently that are much more controversial and, frankly, worthy of condemnation.

For some reason she decided to discuss the genitals of a trans girl who was at her daughter’s summer camp, suggesting that she might not let Bryn sleep near a trans girl.

Bethenny has defended her appalling comments, even challing those unhappy to listen to her words for themselves. It’s hard to see how that could be a defense.

Bethenny Frankel: I’ve Known Tom Girardi Was Broke for YEARS!

Viewers and castmates alike are having a hard time keeping track of Erika Jayne’s seemingly contradictory stories.

The one thing on which everyone can agree is that her and Tom Girardi’s financial situation is all wrong, and has been that way for a while.

It’s not just Erika, Tom, and Tom’s alleged victims who know that — even other Housewives, past and present, know that.

The Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankel lived it. She says that Tom owed her late fiance half a million dollars.

Last week, Bethenny shared some illuminating details on her Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast.

She told listeners that she has known for years that Erika’s extravagant on-screen lifestyle is just a facade.

Bethenny didn’t just have to guess — because she knew through Dennis Shields, who passed away in 2018.

According to Bethenny, the Girardi household’s financial troubles were readily apparent.

She said that Tom owed Dennis $500,000.

Dennis passed away from a tragic overdose in 2018, and was presumably never able to collect.

Bethenny shared with listeners who she remembers watching Erika claim to spend $45,000 each month just on her famous “glam squad.”

She was astonished to hear that amount, especially since she can do that math.

That would mean paying $600,000 each year on nothing more than hair, makeup, and clothes.

To Bethenny, that seemed extreme.

Keep in mind that we’re talking about Bethenny Frankel, here.

In addition to being a Real Housewife (off and on) herself, she is also a significantly wealthy woman.

Online estimates of net worth are infamously suspicious, but they can be a guidelines — especially with more famous, wealthier celebs.

Bethenny’s estimated net worth is $70 million.

Considering that she reportedly sold her liquor brand for $100 million in 2011, that number at least sounds right.

“You know, I was like, that’s rolling really deep,” Bethenny commented on her podcast.

“And,” she observed, “that’s just a number that would be hard to sustain.”

That, Bethenny shared, is when Dennis shared with her what he knew about Tom’s finances.

“And Dennis said to me, ‘He doesn’t have it like that. He owes me money,'” Bethenny recalled.

She continued: “‘He owes me half a million dollars, I know this other guy he owes $1.5 million.'”

According to Bethenny, Dennis then told her: “‘He doesn’t have money. He owes everybody money.’”

Erika Jayne and Tom Girardi

Almost anyone could find themselves going into debt, and there can be a tremendous amount of shame and stigma.

We can only imagine the pressures that a famous attorney might feel, particularly if his much younger wife is a celebrity.

It might be tempting to try to cover up financial shortfalls, especially if the appearance of affluence helps bring in real money.

But borrowing money from other millionaires is one thing. If someone can spare $1.5 million, then they can lose it.

Stealing money from victims of tragedies — his own clients — as Tom is accused of having done … that’s something else entirely.

We may not know the whole truth of many elements of this story, but it’s clear that there were a lot of victims and plenty of poor choices.

Erika Jayne Betrayed by Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley: Backstabbers!!

She might deserve it. She might not.

Either way, Erika Jayne has been under siege from haters accusing her of thievery of the highest order.

Her The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills haven’t exactly been uniformly supportive, as we have all seen.

Erika feels downright betrayed by Kyle and Dorit … and there’s only one Housewife whom she feels that she can trust.

RadarOnline reports that Erika Jayne has had a rude awakening while watching this season play out on screen.

Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley have been two of her closest friends on the cast.

But that is in the past tense, however, after what Bravo has shown the world.

Erika reportedly feels that the two women have betrayed her friendship and her.

She is only communicating regularly with one of her fellow Housewives.

That castmate, of course, is Lisa Rinna.

According to the report, Erika was fuming as she viewed many of the conversations and comments about her ongoing case.

A lot of it, she knew while she was filming — because she was there.

But other moments took place when she was not in the room, and she’s only now seeing her castmates for how they really feel.

According to The Daily Mail‘s insider, Erika is “disappointed and shocked” by how things played out.

Specifically, she was crushed by “how Kyle Richards has turned on her.”

“And,” the source added, Erika “now realizes the warning Lisa Vanderpump gave her about Kyle was true.”

“Erika knows that Kyle has two faces both literally and figuratively,” the insider commented.

We have of course seen Kyle’s confessionals ourselves.

She has raised a lot of questions about the timeline of Erika’s divorce amidst the lawsuits against estranged ex Tom Girardi.

Meanwhile, the source shared that Erika “feels the hypocrisy from Dorit is outrageous.”

“All you have to do is google her name and see what pops up there,” the insider added.

The source suggested: “add her husband’s name to the google search, and your jaw will drop.”

None of us are any strangers to Paul Kemsley’s legal difficulties or their impacts upon Dorit.

There are seemingly some very obvious parallels between Dorit and Erika.

With that in mind, one might have guessed that Dorit would be Erika’s first and most outspoken defender.

Instead, the report alleged, Erika believes that Lisa Rinna is her “only true friend on the show.”

“The other women say one thing to her face,” the insider described, “and something completely different behind her back.”

The source added that, in Erika’s estimation, “Lisa actually has her back.”

It’s no secret that Erika has beef with Kyle and Dorit to some degree.

Kathy Hilton’s dinner showed some of their true colors to viewers, prompting fans to warn Erika of how her friends really felt.

On social media, Erika promised her supporters: “Don’t worry, we’ll get to that.”

RHOBH 14 July 2021 promo - Erika Jayne explains the rumors

What makes Erika’s predicament different from so many others in the franchise is that this is not a personal problem.

Cheating is a personal problem. Being married to a cheater is a personal problem.

Alcoholism is. Lying is. Not being able to control what you blurt out on Instagram is.

Erika’s situation is different from Denise Richards’ or Luann de Lesseps’ or Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s or Vicki Gunvalson’s or Kelly Dodd’s.

This is, to put it bluntly, her “real life” beyond just the matter of her marriage.

Tom’s creditors are coming after her, in some cases, accusing her of — knowingly or unknowingly — possessing stolen assets.

Tom Girardi in 2018 (RHOBH flashback)

It’s always bad when your friends don’t seem to have your back, but this time, it’s worse.

Erika is trying to defend her reputation, and having her castmates openly doubt her on screen is not helping.

That said … none of us know her true thoughts and feelings about her castmates, no matter what any report or insider claims.
