JoJo Siwa Showers Girlfriend With Love on First Valentine’s Day Together

Just last week, JoJo Siwa celebrated her one-month anniversary with her girlfriend, Kylie.

This came just a short time after JoJo came out publicly, an inspirational moment for her countless fans.

Over the weekend, these two young women enjoyed their first-ever Valentine’s Day as a couple.

Their posts are too sweet for words. Take a look:

JoJo Siwa took to Instagram to share new looks of her with her girlfriend.

“It’s my first valentines dayyyy!!” she gushed in the caption.

JoJo raved: “No one in the world makes me as happy as this girl does.”

“I’m so thankful to have fallen in love with the most perfect person ever,” JoJo expressed adorably.

She added that Kylie is someone “who makes me smile 24/7.”

“I love you more than you’ll ever know!” JoJo concluded.

Kylie also had something to say, taking to her Instagram Story to shower JoJo with affection.

“Getting to spend Valentine’s Day with the best human on earth,” the post’s caption reads.

“I love you, I love you, I love you,” Kylie raved sweetly.

“in love with your best friend, guys,” Kylie advised her followers in previous post.

She adorably wrote: “it’s THE BEST feeling in the entire world.”

“Here’s to one month with my favorite human :)” Kylie added to mark their anniversary. “i love you sharky.”

JoJo Siwa coming out tweet

JoJo spent days dropping “hints” in January that she was coming out before actually doing so.

She showed up on TikTok at Pride House LA, a spot reserved for LGBTQ+ TikTok stars — though some assumed that she might be just a guest.

JoJo also filmed herself lipsyncing to some very specific lyrics from Lady Gaga’s LGBTQ+ anthem, “Born This Way.”

Finally, JoJo wore a shirt identifying herself as the “best gay cousin ever.”

The shirt was, she wrote, a gift from her cousin. Not to — from.

In that moment, she came out for the first time to the public, and the response was overwhelmingly positive.

JoJo Siwa TikTok - Born This Way

Obviously, because our world is crawling with monsters, there were homophobes who lashed out at this 17-year-old girl for … we guess, existing.

(Either for existing while gay or for not shamefully hiding who she is)

These bigoted beasts “threatened” her that their children (for whom we truly feel sorry) will “never” watch her again — to which JoJo very classily replied “okay.”

She was incredibly smart to not get dragged down into some sort of “debate” with a bigot.

No one should ever have to debate their own existence, and doing so implies that bigots somehow have “opinions” worthy of discussion. They do not.

JoJo handily dismissed the homophobes and basked in suddenly getting new fans who are so excited for her very bright future.

It cannot be understated that JoJo is currently at — thus far — the height of her career. When she performs, it is to sold-out arenas.

Her coming out can have such a positive impact, upon young straight fans but also among young LGBTQ+ fans, most of the latter of whom not even knowing who they are just yet.

But also, on a personal level, we are just so happy for JoJo and for Kylie that they can live as themselves — something that would have been impossible just a few decades ago.

JoJo Siwa Posts New Video About Coming Out: ‘I’m The Happiest That I’ve Ever Been’

After days of speculation by everybody in the entertainment world, JoJo Siwa wants you to know one thing: she’s SO happy right now! The 17-year-old pop culture star and online personality posted a brand new video via Instagram Live on Saturday afternoon. In it, she opened up a bit about her sexuality, her speculated coming out […]

JoJo Siwa Comes Out: I’m Gay!

Earlier this week, JoJo Siwa seemed to be dropping hints to her fans and followers that she might be gay.

She danced to some very specific “Born This Way” lyrics. More conspicuously, she was filmed dancing at Pride House LA.

But the time for subtlety is over.

JoJo Siwa is gay, and she wants the world to know.

On Friday afternoon, around 4pm EST, JoJo took to Twitter to share a message and a photo.

“My cousin got me a new shirt,” the 17-year-old performer tweeted to her half a million followers.

The shirt itself told the full story.

JoJo Siwa coming out tweet

“Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever,” the shirt reads in bold text.

Since JoJo is wearing the shirt and received it from her cousin, it is not difficult to put two and two together and get four.

JoJo is gay! Congratulations are absolutely in order, girl!

JoJo, whose real name is Joelle Joanie Siwa, is a dancer, singer, actress, and YouTube personality.

She has an estimated net worth of $14 million. She was listed among the Time 100 Most Influential People of 2020.

JoJo regularly performs to sold-out stadiums and most of her fans range from young to very young.

In the spring of 2020, TikTok challenges were really taking off because of the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

JoJo participated in one of those challenges, wiping her mirror only to suddenly be “transformed.”

In her case, the transformation saw her shed her trademarked clown-like costume, designed to appeal to her very young fanbase, and reveal her actual looks.

Wait, millions of fans realized, JoJo Siwa is beautiful? It turns out that she always was.

Some fans in particular — JoJo’s fellow teenage girls — were vocal on social media about appreciating her beauty.

These young gay and bi women were nothing short of thirsty when it came to sharing their thoughts about the singer’s “true form.”

But she had not come out yet.

In fact, later that year, she appeared to be dating a male TikTok star.

It wasn’t until January 20 — when most of America and a lot of the rest of the world was focused upon celebrating President Biden’s inauguration — that JoJo decided to share more about herself.

JoJo Siwa TikTok - Born This Way

Or, at least, she opted to drop some major hints.

First, she recorded herself lipsyncing and dancing in her chair to “Born This Way,” Lady Gaga’s LGBTQ+ anthem.

Obviously, her choice of song seemed like a hint, but anyone can listen to any song without it defining their identity, so fans might have let that slide.

JoJo Siwa TikTok - dancing at Pride House LA

Then, JoJo was recorded dancing at Pride House LA, a place exclusively for LGBTQ+ TikTok stars to rally and perform.

Was she some sort of special guest, like inviting Ariana Grande to a Pride event?

Some came to believe that they were seeing JoJo and another girl on TikTok wearing corresponding Touch Bracelets, intended for couples, but that was not proven.

JoJo Siwa tweet response - "supporter" Orphan Black meme

Some fans figured that JoJo was coming out on purpose, but that she would not be allowed to say so in as many words.

They imagined that because of how much vicious bigotry exists in the world, she might be forced — perhaps even by contract — to remain in the closet, “hints” notwithstanding.

But sometimes, hints are followed up shortly with very direct statements. Here, I even made a meme about it.

JoJo Siwa dropping hints meme

I could not resist making this meme in celebration of JoJo sharing this wonderful news.

Advocates are already excited about the positive impact that JoJo coming out as gay can have on LGBTQ+ youth and on on their straight, cisgender peers who have grown up as her fans.

Good for you, JoJo!

Dance Moms Survivors Relive Abby Lee Miller Trauma on TikTok!

Dance Moms villain Abby Lee Miller isn’t exactly known for her nurturing personality. Kind of the opposite.

Now, the chidren who endured Miller’s abhorrent bullying are memeing about their Dance Moms trauma.

The TikTok meme’s format is simple.

“Bulletproof” by La Roux plays while a Dance Moms survivor silently listens.

The text on screen then reads “Think you can hurt my feelings? I was on Dance Moms.”

JoJo Siwa - I was on Dance Moms tiktok meme

“And was meme of the month October 2018,” JoJo Siwa recalls in her iteration of the meme.

She continues: “And get made fun of 24/7 for my hairline.”

“And,” JoJo cites, “get called a giant toddler every other day.”

JoJo Siwa - I was on Dance Moms tiktok meme comment

“And had strangers shout out awful things to me in public all the time,” JoJo points out.

“HI, I’m JoJo,” her TikTok caption reads, “and … I’ve heard it all.”

That is sad — what is worse is that she is not alone.

Chloe Lukasiak - I was on Dance Moms tiktok meme

Chloe Lukasiak also gets in on the meme.

Like most of her fellow Dance Moms escapees, she did not cite quite as many examples as JoJo.

But she certainly has a lot to say in her caption.

Chloe Lukasiak - I was on Dance Moms tiktok meme comment

“My experience was so traumatizing,” Chloe reveals, “I don’t remember those four years.”

“It’s an actual coping mechanism,” she explains, then crediting Mackenzie and Nia for the idea to do the meme.

She’s right, but it’s important to note that childhood trauma can still have lifelong consequences, even if it is forgotten.

Mackenzie Ziegler - I was on Dance Moms tiktok meme

Mackenzie takes an even more spartan approach to the meme.

Instead of really commenting, she lets the simple, brutal statement do the talking for her.

Someone’s childhood reality career should not have left them so numb to future trauma … but it has.

Brooke Hyland - I was on Dance Moms tiktok meme

Brooke Hyland did a “duet” with Mackenzie.

That’s just TikTok’s name for two videos appearing side-by-side.

There, she simply echoes Mackenzie’s sentiments. You don’t need to put an original twist on a meme to contribute.

Nia Sioux - I was on Dance Moms tiktok meme

But Nia’s version does have a distinction from that of the others.

“You think you can hurt my feelings?” she asks in a text bubble.

“I was the only Black girl on Dance Moms,” Nia points out.

Nia Sioux - I was on Dance Moms tiktok meme comment

Nia made it very clear that she is talking to one specific person with her post.

“And that’s on being bullied by the biggest bully in America,” Nia writes.

She could only be talking about one person.

Abby Lee Miller was fired by Lifetime for a long history of appalling racism.

She was already infamous for her vicious verbal abuse of children. It was a key part of Dance Moms‘ brand.

So, during the reckoning for racist institutions and individuals in June of this year, Black moms and producers spoke about Miller’s racist bullying.

It’s sad that it took the atmosphere of the largest civil rights protest in the history of the world for Miller to get sacked.

A more enlightened society would never have given her a platform in the first place — or allowed those children to be exploited.

But at least she will no longer be rewarded for or financially encouraged to berate and traumatize kids.

Childhood trauma has lifelong repercussions.

Even those who process their worst experiences live in fear of repeating those behaviors one day.

And just because people can say “this doesn’t bother me, because I’ve been through worse” doesn’t mean that what happened to them was okay.

JoJo Siwa Reveals Boyfriend: I’m Dating Mark Bontempo!

Dance Moms alum, entertainer, and ideal casting choice for the Joker JoJo Siwa is once again taking to TikTok to show fans her real life.

This peak behind the curtain is revealing her new boyfriend — one whom some fans may recognize.

For better or for worse, 2020 seems to be TikTok’s year in the spotlight as more and more people use the video platform during this pandemic.

No one knows that better than JoJo Siwa, a Gen Z icon who has enjoyed a resurgence of popularity after showing a more authentic look earlier this year.

And while many stars with child-oriented jobs like hers have to keep their love lives private, JoJo is now sharing part of her life.

It started with a seeminly innocuous game — an extremely juvenile, aggressively PG game of Never Have I Ever.

Instead of normal questions about threesomes or watersports, this version asked about tooth-brushing, mucus maintenance, and relationship status.

Noticeably, when JoJo played the game in a video, she did not put her finger down to indicate being single … meaning that she is currently dating.

JoJo took things even further in a new video.

At first, fans weren’t sure why her TikTok — included in this article — showed her dressed in this manner.

Particularly while music (“Famous (I’m The One)” by Mozzi & IAMSU) whose lyrics do not vibe with her core audience of overly sheltered children played.

It quickly became clear when JoJo moved out of the way and revealed a young man dressed in JoJo’s famous clown regalia.

It appeared that the two of them had switched clothes for the video.

“Meet Mark :)” JoJo captioned the TikTok, tagging Mark Bontempo.

On Mark’s TikTok, he shared the video of JoJo hinting that she is single.

He then showed off that he was hanging with JoJo at the time.

JoJo was styled according to her usual brand, but flashed a very genuine and cute smile as Mark plopped down onto the bed beside her.

Who is Mark Bontempo? For one thing, he is the younger brother to social media star Madison Bontempo.

To put that in context, he is the uncle to Tatum and Oakley Fisher, who at 4 years old have over 3 million Instagram followers.

He is part of a budding social media dynasty and therefore no stranger to fame despite his youth and (relative) obscurity.

JoJo gave the world a glimpse at who she is behind the clown mask earlier this year, through a familiar, mirror-wiping TikTok challenge.

She looked so beautiful and natural that social media (particularly gay and bi teenage girls) was falling all over itself to sing her praises.

But, of course, JoJo still has her career to consider and is likely under contractual obligation to maintain her more infamous brand image.

Earlier this month, JoJo chatted about her “dream boyfriend” on her mom’s podcast.

“I already have it,” she gushed before adding, “but next would be Derek Shepard or Zac Efron,” both men being considerably older than JoJo. Those are both “safe” celebrity crushes to name.

Congratulations to JoJo and Mark on their budding relationship and on going public!

JoJo Siwa STUNS Fans with Unrecognizable Transformation!

JoJo Siwa has been a controversial figure among teens and adults for her childlike brand, to the point where people side against her in feuds.

But after witnessing her stunning transformation on a TikTok challenge, even her harshest critics are doing a 180.

The “Wipe It Down” challenge has been making the rounds on TikTok.

(My gut says that it’s a conspiracy by parents to trick children into cleaning bathroom mirrors — don’t fall for it, teens!)

The premise is simple: “Wipe It Down” by BMW Kenny plays for just a few seconds.

During that, you spray the mirror, wipe it, and through careful editing, “transform” into another look (or swap out for another person).

Now that we have explained the context of JoJo Siwa’s eye-catching video, let’s address the video itself.

It’s JoJo spraying a bottle of Windex on the bathroom mirror.

It’s a nice but not especially over-the-top celebrity bathroom, complete with wooden oil diffusers.

As the TikTok challenge dictates, JoJo then wipes what she has sparyed on the mirror.

Some of the transformations feature silly costumes or switching out for another person.

But JoJo was already in a silly costume — her iconic look, some blend between childlike innocence and someone who would fight Batman.

(Seriously, JoJo has been my fancast for The Joker for years)

And when she magically transitioned as the challenge dictates, she looks … amazing.

JoJo looks like a beautiful teenage girl with a sweet, genuine smile.

Like a princess whose curse has just been lifted, she gazes into the mirror in wonder.

Her hair is down and she is wearing normal human clothing for a teenage celebrity.

The TikTok was posted on her final day as a 16-year-old. On Tuesday, May 19, she turned 17.

The video racked up tens of millions of views overnight.

Twitter was abuzz early Tuesday morning with the new reality of JoJo’s looks.

A lot of people — even those who had been critical of her infantalized brand in the past — discussed how clear it was that she has been under contract.

Many cannot help but wonder if this is their first glimpse at the “new” JoJo that will appear after her contract ends.

We have all seen child stars who were under strict contracts break free of their candy-coated images as soon as they were able.

Just weeks ago was the ten-year anniversary of Miley Cyrus’ “Can’t Be Tamed.”

Someone who worked for Radio Disney at the time shared that the very next day, they had been ordered to cut out all Miley content.

That serves as a great reminder that contracts can sculpt people into images and brands that do not represent who they really are.

Of course, JoJo’s media empire is not without its upsides.

Most of us may prefer to see her with a natural look, but she has a net worth of $12 million thanks to savvy marketing and her iconic image.

Still, this TikTok and the response are an indication that she has a real future separate from her current, child-oriented brand.

And from what the teens on Gay Twitter were saying on Tuesday morning, she’d have no trouble finding a girlfriend if she ever wants one.

Jojo siwa stuns fans with unrecognizable transformation
