Well, folks, another season of The Bachelor is in the can.
After a lot of heartbreak, one freak accident, and some major shadiness involving a contestant who can only be described as the female equivalent of Luke P., Peter Weber has made his final selection and wrapped filming.
So is the beloved pilot/windmill sex enthusiast a newly-engaged man?
Sadly — we don’t know yet.
It seems producers are doing a better job than usual keeping the events of this seaon’s finale under wraps.
But thanks to the spoiler master himself, Reality Steve, we do know the identities of Peter’s final two selections, as well as the fate of the villainous Victoria Fuller.

ABC released the first official teaser of Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor. The infamous windmill was front and center.
In a new interview, Hannah Brown opens up about what she thinks of that, and offers some very real advice for Peter.
As we already reported, Peter Weber steps out of a wildly unsubtle windmill during the new promo.
After the heartbreaking moment when James Van Der Beek departed from Dancing With The Stars, Hannah Brown was interviewed.
We have included that interview, so that you can hear Hannah’s words and enjoy looking at Alan Bersten if that is your wish.
For the portion of the interview that we have included, she begins by addressing the windmill promo.
“Like I said,” Hannah says while laughing awkwardly. “I will always be asked about my journey with my men.”
She then fumbles her words, saying: “I guess I’m … I don’t know.”
“It was a memorable moment, I think, for everyone,” she reasons.
“So,” Hannah suggests, “they put it in the promo.” That they did!
She also has some solid advice based upon her experiences — both good and bad — as leading lady.
“I think it’s just taking those moments to really get to know the person without the cameras,” Hannah recommends.
Her advice continues: “And to make sure that you’re really vulnerable and honest with each other.”
“Just because the show has ended,” Hannah observes. “Your life [together] is still starting.”
“And,” Hannah strongly recommend, Peter should endeavor “to really get to know what you’re in.”
She adds: “and be able to make confident decisions for yourself moving forward too.”
“Just because the show ends,” Hannah reiterates. “Doesn’t mean that’s the ending.”
For example, one might go home with the winner only to learn that he strung along a secret girlfriend for weeks and weeks.
“You really need to understand what your relationship is,” Hannah counsels Peter.
Still, she wishes him the absolute best.
Her advice concludes: “I hope that his is a fairy tale and something he’s always been looking for.”
That is so sweet! Not all exes are willing to give each other such affectionate advice.
Remember, Peter is a real person. He’s more than just a boning machine who lays nonstop pipe in windmills.
No one knows about either of those sides of Peter better than Hannah.
She also knows the perils of dating in this franchise.
She went on the show looking for fun and love. She ended up with a guy who wanted to boost his music career and got in over his head.
Of course, if you’re following The Bachelor Spoilers, you already know quite a lot about Peter’s season, including his final three.
It may be a little late for Peter to follow Hannah’s advice, especially given that one of this contestants is kind of a disaster.
But future leads in the franchise can definitely take her advice to heart.
Use the fantasy suites to speak to someone off camera. Use windmills to bone each other’s brains out.
If you’ve been following The Bachelor Spoilers, you already know Peter Weber’s final three. But his season has yet to begin.
Now, ABC has revealed Peter’s promo, and they’re not shying away from his “windmill” backstory. Take a look:
Peter Weber charmed viewers of The Bachelorette as “Pilot Pete.”
So it is only natural that in this promo video for Season 24 of The Bachelor, our first glimpse is of a plane flying in the distance.
From that view of the sky, the camera transitions to viewing a cgi rose petal as it drifts through the imaginary wind.
“Feeling Good” by George Michael plays, and it does seem tonally appropriate if you want to convey a hint of cockiness.
The drifting petal then meanders its way over to a cgi windmill.
(It looks like something straight out of Once Upon A Time, and that is not a compliment, but it’s just fine for a cheesey promo)
The various spokes (they’re actually called sails or blades) of the windmill then magially multiply the petal and send them rushing off with the breeze.
The windmill’s structure has a door, of course, and that’s where Peter is hanging out.
Peter tries to play it cool in a very well-fitting suit and holding a dazzling red rose.
Framed by the doorway, he doesn’t have the obvious hunky sex appeal of Colton Underwood.
Instead, it’s clear that he’s sort of Colton’s opposite — instead of mind-numbingly attractive, he has a lot of well-earned sexual confidence.
We can only imagine how many takes he must have gone through to strike the right tone, but he nailed it.
After Peter smells his own rose, he looks up at the camera and smiles.
This is when a cascade of rose petals sweeps across the screen, reealing the promo art.
Peter Weber is the titular Bachelor.
The art of course notes that his season, Season 24, will premiere in January of 2020. it’ll be here before we know it!
The plane may be a cute nod to the fact that he is “Pilot Pete.”
However, this autumn, Hannah hinted that Peter could take things to the next level during his season by boning on an airplane.
The windmill’s presence is not even slightly ambiguous.
Peter and windmills go way back to Hannah’s season, where the two of them boned in one. Sorry, they boned in a windmill four times.
While Hannah faced some horrific slut-shaming for (gasp!) having sex with a man she was dating, Peter seemed to mostly earn praise.
(That’s partially due to the fact that he was only dating her, but mostly because of outrageous sexist double-standards about sex and sexuality)
At 28 years old, he is not an old man by any means.
But generally speaking, four rounds of penetrative sex during just one hookup is considered a lot. Especially if you’re no longer a teenager.
Obviously, not all of the women on Peter’s season are going to be getting the windmill treatment.
(Though perhaps some will join the Mile High Club)
But you have to know that, just as the idea of deflowering Colton was on everyone’s mind last season, each contestant will have to be thinking:
Will Peter live up to Hannah’s hype? Only time will tell.
