Jinger and Jeremy Vuolo to Jill and Derick: Come Back to the Cult, Bishes!

It will continue to take a long time for Jill Duggar to fully deprogram from her family’s cult.

She has made a lot of progress, but there is more to come.

Not if her sister Jinger and Jinger’s husband Jeremy have anything to say about it, however.

They are both vocally hopeful that Jill will come back into the fold soon.

Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo spoke to Us Weekly about recently touching base with Jill and Derick.

“They’re working through some things,” Jeremy characterized.

He added: “We’re giving them their time to do that

“But,” Jeremy emphasized, “we’ve got a great relationship [with them].”

“You always hope that families are united,” he expressed.

“And, you know, the family is strong,” Jeremy continued.

Jeremy acknowledged: “There’s going to be difficulties in every family.”

“I think that’s part of being in the public eye,” he opined.

“So many families go through different issues,” Jeremy pointed out.

Jeremy noted that this happens “especially as children are growing [up].”

“And this family happens to be in the public spotlight,” he said of the Duggar clan.

“And so, they work through it,” Jeremy said.

Jeremy stressed that he and Jinger are “definitely hoping” that the Duggar family resolve things.

He is hopeful that they can get all of their drama “sorted out” eventually.

“We love them very much,” Jeremy stressed about Jill and Derick.

“And,” Jeremy added, “I know they love the family.”

This is when Jinger chimed in, echoing her husband’s optimism and sentiments.

Also, Jinger regularly video chats with Jill, making sure that their respective children can interact.

Jeremy and Jinger have 2-year-old Felicity and 4-month-old Evangeline.

Jill and Derick have Israel, 5, and Samuel, 3 years old.

At those ages, the cousins might not be playmates, but they should still know each other.

At present, Jill’s kids are isolated from most of their cousins.

Jill is not allowed to go to Jim Bob’s home unless he is there and gives permission.

This of course means that family gatherings exclude the Dillard family.

Part of this comes from a simple family feud.

Derick has revealed how Jim Bob received pay directly from TLC.

Though he gives many of his adult children money in order to control them, they never received wages from their reality TV work.

This was not a simple misunderstanding.

Jim Bob presented their reality careers as a sort of public ministry.

The idea was to advertise their fundamentalist lifestyle and make it seem normal to viewers.

However, there is more to this than money.

Jill was abused — physically, emotionally, and also sexually — as a child in the Duggar home.

She is currently in therapy (a fundamentalist no-no) as she recovers from the effects of all of this.

There is also more to this than Jill’s heartbreaking childhood trauma.

Though Jill and Derick are devout and very conservative Christians, they’re no longer doing things “the Duggar way.”

Their children’s entertainment can include “worldly” television and movies. Their kids are also in real schools.

Declaring Jill persona non grata in the Duggar household may have been the best thing for her.

But clearly, many in Jill’s family just want their sister back, to spend time with her again.

It’s unclear what it would take for Jim Bob to allow Jill around her family now that she has openly questioned his way of doing things.

Derick Dillard: I Had to Fill Out 423-Question Application Before Jim Bob Would Let Me Court Jill!

One of the most heavily-scrutinized aspects of life in the Duggar clan is the courtship process by which young people find suitable spouses.

Casual dating, premarital sex, and divorce are all forbidden in the Duggars’ world, so there’s a lot riding on every courtship.

Despite all that, the process moves fast — very fast.

Often, Duggars get engaged just a few weeks after they begin courting, and they’re married a few weeks after that.

So perhaps it shouldn’t come as a surprise that the family has its mate selection protocol down to a science.

Believe it or not, the process involves a written application that’s designed by Jim Bob to help weed out the losers and ensure that his grandkids are bred from only the best stock.

We sincerely wish we were joking/

As you might expect, the whole thing is intensely creepy.

Check out some of the more bizarre highlights from the list of 423 questions (!!!) that are presented to potential Duggar suitors.

It’s believed that both male and female courtship partners are forced to fill out the questionnaire, and of course, the responses are reviewed by the all-powerful shot-caller himself, James Robert Duggar.

Somehow, this family keeps getting weirder by the day.

1. Derick Spills the Tea

As you’re probably aware, Derick Dillard has been feuding with Jim Bob Duggar for quite some time now. It’s a messy situation, but on the bright side, it’s yielded some interesting revelations about life in the Duggar clan.

2. Going Back to the Archives

Of course, as some fans recently realized, Derick has been taking shots at Jim Bob for quite some time now. Take, for example, the Counting On episode in which Dillard spoke out about the infamous Courtship Questionnaire.

3. Bonding Brothers-In-Law

Jinger duggar and jeremy vuolo in 2021
At the time that the episode was filmed, Jeremy Vuolo was still courting Jinger Duggar, and Derick shocked him with an unexpected question.

4. Truth or Der

Derick asked Jeremy if he had been “drill[ed]” on his “financial situation” by Jim Bob, adding that such questions can be found “on the 45-page application,” he said. “Page 27, section B, line four.”

5. Jim Bob In the Middle

It might sound like Der and Jer were just having a laugh at Jim Bob’s expense, but it turns out the application is not only real — it’s also much longer than they described.

6. Does the Fun Ever Start!

Around that time, there was a disagreement about the length of the application. Jessa Duggar claimed it’s only 30 pages, while Jeremy said that he “got sent a 50-page questionnaire.” It turns out, the current model clocks in at 423 questions — and we have all the highlights below!

Jeremy Vuolo Accused of Bullying, Mistreating Jinger Duggar

Jinger Duggar has been in the news a lot in recently, which is somewhat surprising.

After all, she’s generally regarded as the least problematic Duggar, and since she lives a thousand miles away from the rest of the family, she usually doesn’t get caught up in all their scandals and nonsense.

But whether she likes it or not, Jinger is a Duggar first and a modern California mom second.

So fans continue to dissect her every social media post, and many of them think they’ve uncovered an unsettling trend in recent weeks.

You may have heard about the rumors that Jinger is miserable in her marriage.

You may have even heard the reports that Jeremy Vuolo has been mistreating Jinger.

We might know for certain what goes on in the privacy of the Vuolos’ home, but some followers think the couple’s situation is so bad that they keep their secrets from spilling out on social media.

The outpouring on concern began with posts in which many fans felt that Jinger looked exhausted and sickly.

Some jumped to the conclusion that this was a result of Jeremy’s unwillingess to help out around the house.

This is the usual stance for men in the Duggar family, who traditionally eschew so-called “women’s work.”

But in most cases, their wives are surrounded by family and in-laws to help them bear the burden of endless household chores.

Jinger lives in Los Angeles, and her closest adult female family members are back in Arkansas.

Add to that the fact that it seems as though Vuolo doesn’t care if his family catches Covid, and it’s not hard to see why so many are convinced that Jinger is feeling stressed out and neglected.

Jinger welcomed her second child in November, and insiders say that she’s been feeling a tremendous amount of pressure with two young ones running around the house.

There’s no indication that Jeremy has been pitching in more around the house.

But fans feel there have been several signs that he’s continued making life more difficult for his long-suffering wife.

Earlier this week, Jeremy posted the photo above along with a caption that some followers felt was unnecessarily mean.

“How it feels when you lose a 45-minute game of Phase 10 You fought valiantly, my love,” he wrote.

“Correct me if I’m wrong, I feel like Jeremy is very alpha with jinger. Almost like bossy, like, ‘I’m the man’ kinda guy!” one follower commented.

“Every pic I see of her lately she looks like she’s been crying…” a second added.

“She looks exhausted,” a third chimed in.

Not surprisingly, however, several of Jeremy’s followers were quick to come to his defense.

“I don’t see that at all! I see a super devoted and supportive husband! His ‘I’m the man’ comes off to me as ‘I’d do anything for her!” one fan wrote.

“You don’t know them at all! Stop making up stuff up!!!!” another offered.

Why are you saying this because he beat her at a game. It’s friendly competition,” a third commented, adding:

“The both of them are competitive. Do you know them?”

So it looks like the crowd is split on the Jinger-Jeremy question.

And since the Duggars are so good at keeping secrets, this might be the kind of question to which we’ll never have an answer.

The Duggars’ Most Awkward Televised Moments: Josh Sings! Ben Seewald Raps! We Cringe!

Every reality TV family struggles to perfect the same tricky balancing act:

How to share enough information with the world to make for compelling viewing, while at the same time, not giving away too much of your personal life?

This is particularly difficult in the case of the Duggar clan, as their carefully-curated public image is based almost entirely on secrets and lies.

That’s how we wind up with so many episodes based on scavenger hunts, and craft projects, and other boring crap that’s clearly staged for the cameras.

But every once in a while, the Duggars let their guards down and allow an honest, unscripted moment to make it to air.

And that’s how we wound up with these cringe-worth scenes.

Enjoy, and try not to die of second-hand embarassment!

Jeremy Vuolo Attends Megachurch Maskless: I Don’t Fear the Virus!

Even though Jeremy Vuolo has some weird ideas about things, most fans think of him and Jinger Duggar as more grounded and mainstream than her family.

Unfortunately, it looks like he considers wearing a mask to be just for show, but he ditches it as soon as he attends his massive church in the middle of L.A.

Jeremy Vuolo was spotted twice over the weekend dressed up in his Sunday finest to attend church services.

While his outfit was on point, it appears that he removed his mask upon arrival at Grace Church in L.A. both times.

Grace Church is attended by thousands, and has refused to end or alter services despite having at least one recent known COVID-19 outbreak among attendees.

Jeremy’s mask seems to have been a facade for the public. A massive, crowded church is one of the last places one should go unmasked — or at all — during this pandemic.

“He didn’t seem to have a care in the world,” the eyewitness described to The Sun.

The source described: “His mask was straight off and he was hanging around chatting in huddled groups, shaking hands, and walking through the crowds.”

“The church appears to have gone back in time to before Covid,” the eyewitness characterized.

The source lamented that they saw the crowd of thousands “with only a handful of people protecting themselves from the deadly virus.”

“Jeremy has a newborn at home with his wife who is avoiding church for obvious reasons,” the eyewitness noted. “It’s almost like they think they’re immune to Covid.”

“Thousands of people were seen heading in and out of buildings on site all day for services,” the eyewitness continued.

“And there were very few masks being worn,” the source reiterated.

The eyewitness then expressed a very real fear: “It could easily be a super-spreader Sunday every week.”

Masks and hand sanitizer are made available on-site at Grace Church, which caters to thousands upon thousands of congregants each week.

However, the vast majority reportedly do not avail themselves of their use.

Whether they feel that they have something to prove or it’s something else, they are all putting themselves and others in danger.

The church resumed indoor services back in July.

The church has strongly resisted any efforts to either prevent or alter how they usually congregate — indoors, shoulder-to-shoulder, and maskless.

They continue to cite the First Amendment, part of a Constitution written more than a century before the discovery of viruses.

“It’s just how it is,” a younger churchgoer explained. “The elders kind of made a decision and everyone followed suit.”

Reportedly, a preacher — unmasked, of course — told the congregation, Jeremy included, that God was shielding them all from COVID-19.

“So many people from so many different places,” the preacher said, “and he has simply been protecting us, and the brother used the word miracle, God really has been kind and gracious.”

As of Wednesday, December 9, at least 286,000 Americans have lost their lives to this pandemic, and the true number is certainly higher.

Even within Grace Church itself, there was an outbreak in October.

Sadly, this does not seem to have inspired the congregation to change their behavior … except that people fear that congregants are now even less likely to report symptoms that they may experience.

“The good news is, you’re here, you’re not distancing, and you’re not wearing masks,” Pastor John MacArthur maliciously stated in August.

“And it’s also good news that you’re not outside,” he claimed, “because it’s very hot out there.”

“So the Lord knew you needed to be inside and unmasked,” MacArthur claimed, “so he did us that gracious favor.”

Obviously, Jeremy and Jinger have been seen wearing masks, also.

The idea that Jeremy is “only” being this reckless at such a massive, weekly gathering among countless anti-mask fanatics is a small comfort.

Being irresponsible like this is not the best way to promote their new lifestyle brand … though that is no surprise.

“Jer and I are excited to announce the launch of Hope & Stead (@hopeandstead),” Jinger recently announced in a painfully awkward and outrageously underproduced message to fans.

Critics likened it to a “PowerPoint presentation from corporate for a new cult based out of a holiday inn conference room.” Ouch.

Perhaps, once the pandemic grinds to a halt or is at least no longer spreading like wildfire, they can produce a better promo for it. You know, consult a professional.

Jinger Duggar BEGGED by Fans to Admit that Jeremy Vuolo is a Bigot

Despite some fans hoping that Jeremy Vuolo would change his ways, he remains very controversial — for good reason.

Now, fans are begging Jinger to recognize him for who he really is, and to show that she’s better than he is.

“I want to be a kind person,” Jinger Duggar Vuolo expressed on Twitter.

Referring to the central figure of her faith, she added: “I want to be kind like Christ.”

“I want to be gentle and patient and slow to anger!” Jinger exclaimed.

“@challies joined us for the latest episode to talk about kindness,” Jinger wrote.

“And,” she added, to “share some practical wisdom on how to pursue those character traits.”

Jinger then plugged the podcast that she shares with her husband, writing: “@hopewehold #thehopewehold.”

Jinger Duggar tweet - I want to be kind ... (podcast promo)

“Amazing how we always find an excuse, right?!” Jinger and Jeremy wrote in a tweet to promote their podcast.

They continued: “‘I was unkind because it’s a Monday … or it’s a Friday and I’ve had a long week … or it’s midweek, and things are piling up.’”

“On the podcast @challies is our guest, here to talk all about kindness! (all the time!) #thehopewehold,” Jinger and Jeremy’s tweet concluded.

But Jinger’s initial tweet about kindness drew the attention of concerned fans.

“You need to open your eyes,” wrote one commenter, “and see the truth of your husband’s misdeeds.”

“Come on Jinger always knew your were too good for him,” the tweet concluded.

Jinger Duggar fan tweet - open your eyes and see Jeremy for who he is

So what is this fan — and those who agree with them — talking about?

The too good for him line may sound random, or like the words of a secret admirer.

But Jeremy has actually been controversial for a while now, and for very good reasons.

See, Jeremy is a pastor. That’s not surprising for a Duggar marriage.

Also sadly unsurprising is that Jeremy has repeatedly spoken against the LGBTQ+ community.

He doesn’t limit himself to describing their very existence as a “sin.” He is also opposed to their fundamental civil rights.

“We’re living in a day when basic teachings of Christ in regards to marriage and sexuality are being undermined and eroded,” Jeremy griped in 2017.

He continued: “Not just out there amongst the radical liberal thinkers, but amongst our so-called Christian leaders.”

“Just this week, we saw this demonstrated with the endorsement of gay marriage from Eugene Peterson and his subsequent attempt to recant,” Jeremy accused, “which really was no retraction at all.”

Obviously, no pastor, priest, rabbi, imam, cleric, priestess, or anyone else is or will ever be required by society to perform, well, any marriage that they don’t want to.

But Jeremy is taking things a step further, calling out others within his faith who would officiate a simple wedding.

Jeremy has also accused the Duggar family of not being vocal enough with their own anti-LGBTQ+ bigotry.

Curiously, he wore a rainbow tie on Coming Out Day just two weeks ago.

Some fans wondered if he has changed his tune about the rights and dignity of the LGBTQ+ community.

Others wondered if he was pulling a classic bait and switch — claiming to “love” people whom he will immediately turn around and condemn for being themselves.

It has also been speculated that, as many hardcore fundamentalist Christians do, Jeremy may have been trying to “reclaim” the rainbow, using it in contexts other than Pride.

Whatever his reasons, it appears that he was more than content to let fans wonder and debate without offering any clear sign that he has changed his ways.

That said … Jinger is a Duggar. Even with blonde hair and pants, it may be that she has no problems whatsoever with the awful things that Jeremy says and believes.
