Derick Dillard: PROOF That He’s Telling the Truth About Jim Bob Duggar Revealed?

If you’re a Duggar fan, then by now, you’ve probably caught wind of the feud between Derick Dillard and Jim Bob.

Going against the patriarch is typically a death sentence in the Duggars’ world, but that doesn’t seem to bother Derick, possibly because he hasn’t appeared on an episode of Counting On in over two years.

Whatever the case, Derick has been leveling some shocking allegations against Jim Bob, the most egregious of which have to do with the reality star’s handling of the Josh Duggar sex scandal.

And a new piece of evidence from 13 years ago might serve as proof that Derick is telling the truth.

It might seem like Derick was stating the obvious when he referred to his wife, Jill Duggar, as an abuse victim — but no one close to the family has ever spoken of the Duggar women in such terms.

Obviously, TLC was the primary target of Derick’s remark, but the former reality star was also putting his famous father-in-law on blast in a big way.

Not only has Jim Bob never referred to any of his daughters as abuse victims, he has repeatedly attempted to sell the idea that they don’t think of themselves in such terms.

Jim Bob Duggar: Does He Get Along With ANY of His Sons-In-Law?

It’s been two years since Derick Dillard was fired by TLC, but he still gets asked to comment on his in-laws’ reality TV series.

And his latest remarks left some fans floored.

In case you missed it, Derick threatened to sue TLC and suggested that his father-in-law, Jim Bob Duggar, keeps all the money that the family earns from the show.

The remark raised a lot of questions about the nature of Jim Bob’s relationship not only with Derick, but with all of his sons-in-law.

Aftee all, JB has feuded with just about all of them at one time or another.

And while he seems to prefer some of his daughters’ husbands to others, we’re not sure if the term “favorite” really applies here.

Here’s a brief rundown of Jim Bob’s fraught relationships with the men who married into his family:

It was Derick Dillard who shined a light on that fact in comments he recently made on Twitter.

3. The Set-Up

On October 18, a fan asked Dillard about why Jim Bob gets “all the money for the show and doesn’t give any to his children?” Derick took the bait in spectacular fashion.

“I don’t know. You would have to ask him that,” Dillard replied.

From there, Derick accused Jim Bob of negotiating for the entire family without letting anyone else in on the details. The implication seems to be that Derick blames Jim Bob for the fact that he was fired by TLC.

6. The Real Reason

Of course, we all know that Derick was actually fired for bullying fellow TLC star Jazz Jennings on Twitter, but that didn’t stop Dillard from claiming that he wasn’t fired and suggesting that the network is in cahoots with Jim Bob.
