Audrey Roloff Slammed For Endangering Baby With Ski Stunt: You Could’ve Killed Him!

Many Little People, Big World fans have been hesitant to take Audrey Roloff’s marital advice because, well, she’s in her twenties.

A lot of fans are also reluctant to take her parenting advice, for similar reasons.

But right now, fans are nothing short of appalled and frightened by Auj’s idea of parenting.

Skiing with your one-year-old baby strapped to your body with no helmet? That seems like a recipe for disaster.

“Ember’s second time on skis and she’s rockin it,” Audrey captioned a video of her and the family on skis.

She gushed about her three-year-old: “I can’t believe how much she’s improved!”

Parenting experts say that the best age for children to learn to ski is around 5, but apparently younger children can begin to learn the basics.

“Also this harness was so clutch,” Audrey raved.

She was carting one-year-old baby Bode around in the snow.

“And,” she added, “even has a little pouch in the back for some chairlift snacks.”

“And yes, I hiked a little ways up the bunny slope with Bode in the carrier,” Audrey acknowledged.

she explained that she did so “just so I can tell him he was on skis when he was one someday.”

Few people can say that they began skiing so early, that’s for sure.

“He slept though the whole experience though ha,” Audrey noted.

Hey, better a baby who’s comfortably sleeping than not having a good time.

“We’ve got some grommets,” she added, referring to the ways in which her baby was anchored to her body.

Audrey was obviously receiving a lot of criticism almost immediately, forcing her to update her caption.

“Context: I’m more confident on skis than I am carrying Bode up the stairs in our house,” she admitted.

Is that … good? A lot of fans are not convinced.

Mom-shamers and other critics have flooded her comments on Instagram.

Audrey is being slammed for being “reckless” with Bode’s safety.

Others chide her for doing something “so dangerous” with her baby.

“That is wrong and horrible on so many levels,” one commenter observed.

“And,” the mom-shamer continued, “just proves that all you care about it social media and not your kids!”

The critic then implored Audrey to “For once put your kids before your content! Just horrible.”

Others noted that just as with many safety precautions like seatbelts and helmets, it’s not just about Audrey’s confidence and skill.

Rather, it’s about others — including beginners, teenagers, and people who might be drinking while skiing.

Carrying a baby up the stairs may be nervewracking, but your risk of someone else colliding with you and knocking you over is very, very slim. Those odds go way up on the slopes.

Meanwhile, other fans recalled Audrey’s seeming reluctance to take the COVID-19 vaccine, citing “safety concerns.”

How in the world, they asked, could Auj think that a widely available vaccine that basically everyone on Earth is going to take over the next year or so is dangerous but that baby-on-board skiing is not?

A lot of people like Audrey, but find it hard to support or even understand some of her decisions.

Isabel Roloff Avoids Instagram After Feud with Audrey: I Need a Break!

It is no secret to Little People, Big World fans that not all Roloffs think alike.

Jacob and Isabel are outspoken about good causes. Audrey and Jeremy have their own ideas about how the world should be.

Earlier this month, Isabel took aim at Audrey for promoting her book in the wake of the Capitol attack instead of speaking out.

Now, Izzy is taking a step back from her online feud with her sister-in-law.

Taking to her Instagram Stories in the wake of her indirect back-and-forth with Auj, Isabel had something to share with her followers.

“Hi, I needed some space from this space,” she wrote to her fans.

“My anxious breathing happens on and off,” Isabel explained.

“Different things trigger it,” Isabel continued.

Anxiety, anxiety disorders, and similar struggles can be brought on by all sorts of causes.

“But honestly,” Izzy wrote, “interactions with people on here can send me spiraling.”

“And,” Isabel added, these interactions can “make my anxiety worse than anything.”

“An obvious sign I should pull back,” she observed.

We all need social media breaks from time to time, even if for some of us, those breaks seem to only last as long as a night’s sleep.

Isabel Rock IG - taking a little break, spiraling, anxious breathing

“Just going to take it day by day,” Isabel expressed to her fans and followers.

She concluded her post with an affectionate “Love y’all.”

It was sweet of her to keep them up to speed on her plans. Some stars take unannounced social media breaks — which is their right, but fans sometimes worry.

As before, isabel did not directly address Audrey or any feuding within the greater Roloff family.

She didn’t give any actual indications that this was about anything politically charged or even one specific person.

And, of course, it might not be. It is only natural that sometimes, coincidences happen. This could always be one of them.

But fans were quick to point out that Isabel’s need to step back and take a breather instead of engaging on Instagram came on the heels of some sisterly conflict.

She and Audrey are on opposite sides of the political aisle.

Often, they — and especially Izzy — can find common ground. But in the wake of a horrific attack on the US Capitol by people who don’t seem too far removed politically from Audrey and Jeremy, Isabel had to speak out.

Meanwhile, Audrey herself was deafeningly silent, even posting to defend not discussing the attack on the capitol.

She went on promoting her book, leaving some to wonder if she was as horrified by the attempted coup as everyone else … with some speculating that she might have preferred if it had worked.

To be clear, however, fan speculations aside, Audrey has said a lot of things that are justifiably unpopular, but she has never directly condoned the violent overthrow of the US government.

What is interesting is that Izzy is often the one who plays peacemaker when Jacob, who shares her progressive values, feuds with Auj and Jer.

Shortly after Jacob’s return to the Roloff world, Isabel helped Audrey to promote her shirts in a post that they knew would get attention — a solid olive branch.

But there are some times when making peace right away isn’t the right thing. Regardless, whatever has troubled Izzy on Instagram, we we wish her well.

Isabel Roloff SLAMS Audrey: America Was Attacked! Stop Promoting Your Book!

On Wednesday, January 6, armed white insurgents stormed Capitol Hill in an unprecedented attack on the American government.

Though the attempted coup failed, the subject of the heartbreaking attack by white nationalist Trump supporters has been on everyone’s lips … well, almost everyone.

Audrey Roloff has adamently refused to directly mention the insurrection to Little People, Big World fans.

And her sister-in-law is calling her out.

Last week, Audrey told her fans that she refused to be “pressured” into commenting about the attack in DC.

“While I think there are so many important issues that we, as influencers, can speak out on and move the needle on…” she began.

Audrey then stated that “just because someone isn’t sharing about something, doesn’t mean that they’re not for it or they’re not against.”

“I just think we need to be slower to speak,” Audrey added vaguely.

“And,” she commented, “I think what’s happening in D.C. right now is terrible.”

That line was almost aggressively ambiguous, a detail that many fans picked up on.

“But me not having the perfect words to speak to something going on right now,” Audrey continued.

“And,” she wrote, “throwing something up on my Instagram Story just because I’m pressured into it in my DMs to share about every little issue that’s a current event.”

Auj opined: “I just think… [those people DMing] should check your heart and realize we’re humans, too, and need space to process things, too.”

“And don’t condemn people for sharing things they always share about,” Audrey continued.

Notably, she had continued to promote her new book in the wake of the white nationalist coup attempt in what fans found to be a hurtful business-as-usual approach.

Audrey concluded by insisting that it’s not a “bad thing” that she continues to share things that fall within her “lane and space.”

Clearly, Isabel Rock — wife of Jacob Roloff — sees things very differently.

Izzy has of course been using her own platform to speak out about the attack, using poetry to cope while also directly addressing the issues at hand.

She also appears to have fired a shot at Isabel by way of her Instagram Stories.

Isabel Rock IG - if it's not "on brand" for you ...

“If it’s not ‘on brand’ for you to talk about things like white terrorism,” Isabel shared in a post, “your brand is bulls–t.”

She might not specifically have named Isabel, but many interpreted this as being a deliberate and specific dig at her sister-in-law.

That’s the trick with general statements like that — it’s easy to read as personal, even if you’re not thinking of anyone in your life.

Now, Audrey is partially right — not commenting doesn’t mean that you don’t personally care.

Many people do lack the language and confidence in what they can say to address all or part of national tragedies and other major events.

This is something that even politicians may struggle with. it’s part of why they have social media managers and speech writers.

But the solution here isn’t to remain silent and keep blogging about your book after just a few years of marriage.

Instead, the best solution is to share things that others have said. Retweet, reblog, and share to your own Stories.

If you’re not doing that … people are going to be uncomfortable and wonder why it is that this particular subject is so hard for you to address.

In Audrey’s case, well, fans already know that her political leanings tend to be both fairly extreme and on the conservative side.

Just last year, Jeremy attempted to demonize both the Democratic Party and the historic civil rights protests in a scathing reference to “rioters and looters.”

Audrey herself has referred to living among a “twisted generation,” appearing to take a swipe at fellow Millennials whom she may believe are insufficiently Christian.

This has led Audrey and Jeremy into numerous conflicts with Jacob and Isabel, who are considerably more mainstream in their views.

Jacob is outspoken and sometimes takes a hostile tone with family members after his explanations fail to sway them to use their platforms more responsibly.

Isabel often plays the peacemaker. But who will play peacemaker for her and Audrey after this conflict?

Chris Marek Sells Home for HUGE Profit: I’m Ready to Marry Amy!

Amy Roloff is happily engaged to Chris Marek, who has helped her settle in and decorate her new home for the holidays.

Things are getting even more serious — and Chris just sold his bachelor pad for a massive pile of cash.

Recently, Amy showed us all a look at Chris helping her to hang up decorations for Christmas, one of her favorite holidays of the year.

This wasn’t just a sweet gesture between partners — Amy is disabled while Chris is within the average height range.

She had no place climbing up an aluminum ladder that isn’t designed with her body type in mind. Chris did a good thing by hanging the lights himself.

But Chris wasn’t just doing a favor for his beloved fiancee.

He is preparing to move in with her — and they’re looking to get married some time next year.

(The COVID-19 pandemic has really made things incredibly difficult for a lot of people’s plans … except for some absolute monsters endangering their loved ones instead of postponing)

Now, Chris has sold his home … for a steep price.

His three-bedroom, two-bathroom Oregon home was up on the housing market for all of three days.

Chris himself acted as his own real estate agent for the sale.

His asking price for the residence was $430,000.

It sold for $460,000 in such a short amount of time.

That is, for those of you who don’t love doing math, $30,000 above his asking price.

There’s more to it.

Back in 2003, he bought the house for just $168,000, before the housing market was the unwinnable nightmare that it is today.

That is, again for the math-reluctant among us, a profit of $292,000 — when not adjusted for inflation.

That is a tidy profit, which is relevant not only to Chris but to how fans may perceive him.

For the longest time, a vocal minority of Amy’s most intense fans have considered Chris’ intentions to be dubious at best.

He’s been called a creep, a fame-seeker, and worse for his relationship with Amy.

But maybe as fans see that Chris is doing very well for himself, selling his home for nearly half a million dollars, they could adjust their view.

Don’t get us wrong, Amy is worth more than $4 million according to online estimates, thanks to her business and creative projects and to her reality TV career (and her portion of the farm).

That said, Chris isn’t hurting for cash and clearly has no need to “use” anyone, Amy included, in order to live comfortably. He’s already doing that.

Moving in together is a huge step for couples of any age. Younger couples are still figuring things out, older couples may be set in their ways.

For Amy and Chris, this represents not only a relationship milestone, but a huge step for Amy.

She spent years living alone in the house on Roloff Farms. Before that, she’d spent decades with Matt. This is new territory for her — and it’s exciting for them both!

Amy Roloff to Fans: Look How Chris Saved Christmas!!

Little People, Big World star Amy Roloff and fiance Chris Marek aren’t just sharing their lives — they’re sharing their home.

And this year, Chris is going all out to help Amy have the picture-perfect Christmas decorations of her dreams.

Amy Roloff has taken to Instagram to show off her home’s decorations … and her man.

“And the Christmas season has arrived in full glory upon my house,” she writes in the captions.

Beside the array of seven photos, all visible below, Amy gushes: “I couldn’t be happier.”

“The house is decorated and the lights are up,” Amy announces.

“Christmas – filled with so much Love Hope Joy…” she expresses.

Two of the photos, in particular, show Chris rising to the occassion — literally, ascending an aluminum ladder.

“I love this man,” Amy raves in reference to her fiance.

She writes: “Chris is so willing to help out and tackle all projects.”

In this case, that means getting seasonal and festive.

Amy notes that Chris has done many things to help “including climbing ladders to put up the Christmas lights.”

Disabled people can accomplish many things, defying countless expectations and preconceived notions.

But when you’re a man of average height engaged to a grandmother of Amy’s stature, it probably makes more sense to volunteer to do the ladder-climbing and light-hanging.

The other photos show her indoor decorating choices, most of which were likely done by Amy’s own hand.

“There’s just something about Christmas that puts joy in my heart and thankfulness,” Amy raves.

“Now,” she concludes, “it’s time to bake cookies.”

Amy also includes a plethora of tags with her post.

“#christmastime #joytotheworld #nativity #christmaslights #bakingcookies,” the tags begin.

The list of tags continues: “#jesusischristmas #storyofamyrandchrism #evergreen #christmascaroles”

Amy’s sense of style for her seasonal decor fits her exactly, and we don’t mean that in a shady manner at all.

She is a white Christian grandmother who just spent decades living on a farm, and has an estimated net worth of over $4 million.

Her choices for decorating her home are going to reflect that, and we wouldn’t expect it any other way.

Individual members of the Christian faith may hold different opinions over what is the most significant holiday in their religious calendar.

Many would say Christmas, for both religious and secular sides of the holiday that has overtaken our culture for generations.

Even those who celebrate the purely secular side of this hegemonic holiday enjoy the gift-giving and often the emphasis on family and charity.

Chris and his relationship with Amy have been more than a little divisive among Amy’s fans over the years.

Some are convinced that he is after either her money or her fame, or both.

Unfortunately, these fears seem to be rooted in ableist disbelief that a man of average height would be interested in Amy without an ulterior motive.

But people fall in love every day, and that includes able-bodied folks and members of the disabled community.

Seeing Chris helping Amy to decorate her home could certainly help thaw out some hearts.

‘Tis the season for viewing others with charity, after all. Will her fans cut Chris some slack?

Isabel Roloff Quashes Pregnancy Rumors, Reveals Disordered Eating

Jacob Roloff’s wife Isabel Rock isn’t afraid to share with fans, even when it comes to the painful realities of marriage into a complicated family.

Now, she is quashing pregnancy rumors … and opening up about her past struggles with disordered eating.

On Monday, November 16, Isabel Rock took to Instagram to share a post.

The photo is of her and her handsome husband, Jacob Roloff.

She captioned the pic: “Just thinkin’ about what our babies are gonna look like.”

Young, relatively newly married women tweeting about the looks that babies might have are going to stir speculation.

“Y’all this was NOT a pregnancy announcement,” the 24-year-old later clarified in her Instagram Stories.

Isabel then assured her followers: “The internet will be the last to know when I am.”

In another post, Isabel had more to say: “I don’t know who needs to hear this but… you don’t need to be at the same weight you were when you were fourteen.”

“For a long time,” she reveals, “I have had to remind myself that I was still growing at that age.”

Isabel writes that she has had to remind herself “that I was still developing, and I was also starving myself…”

Isabel now correctly affirms: “it’s nothing to strive for now that I am older, happier, and healthier.”

“This is recovery from an eating disorder,” she acknowledges.

“We give ourselves these unattainable goals,” Isabel observes, “and wonder why we are continuously unhappy.”

“I remember taking the second photo,” Isabel says in reference to this pic, “and thinking that I was fat in it.”

“And,” she recalls, “I had plans to go on a diet.”

“Now I look at it,” Isabel states, “and I can see that I was literally wasting away…”

“My body has taken me on 8 mile hikes, my body has held the hands of those I love,” Isabel states.

She acknowledges that “my body has given me so, so much.”

“And still I spend so much time trying to change her,” Isabel marvels, “or wish that she were smaller.”

“Here is your reminder as we go into winter, hibernation mode and seasonal depression season,” Isabel notes.

(For those of us who enjoy reduced sunlight and cooler weather, it can be easy to forget that some people’s good moods literally rely upon sunlight)

“And,” Isabel laments, “the little voice in our heads may start telling us that all the extra food we are eating is unnecessary.”

“I just wanted to remind whoever needs to hear it, your body is fine exactly as it is, today, right now,” Isabel declares.

“You need to eat,” she correctly notes. “You can rest.”

“Please give yourself all of your unconditional love,” Isabel implores her fans and followers. “You are worthy of that.”

Disordered eating is pernicious, cruel, and potentially deadly.

It relies upon distorted views of our own bodies, and it is constantly reinforced by toxic aspects of our society.

We applaud Isabel for sharing her story with her fans and followers. If it helps even one person, then she has transformed someone’s life for the better.
