Teen Mom OG Trailer: Drugs! Pregnancy! Medical Emergencies!

It’s that time again, friends!

A brand new season of Teen Mom OG has just begun, and the coming weeks will be filled with episode after episode of just piles and piles of drama.

How do we know that?

Well, one, it’s Teen Mom — drama is kind of the whole point.

And two, MTV just released a brand new trailer for the season, so we have a better idea of what we can be expecting.

And friends … it’s going to get messy.

The trailer kicks off with some cuteness — a clip over at the Baltierra home with baby Vaeda hitting her big sister in the cutest way possible, and Ryder cruising off on a scooter.

But they don’t waste any time getting to the good stuff.

After Ryder scoots away, we see Cory tell Cheyenne that he and his girlfriend are expecting a child of their own.

And although Cheyenne has been extremely supportive on social media, she doesn’t seem super pleased upon hearing the news.

In another scene — maybe about the pregnancy, maybe not — she holds her head in her hands and says “Oh my god!”, so we’ll have to see how that turns out!

Down in Chattanooga, Maci is spending some time with a friend and talking abour Ryan.

The friend asks her how Ryan looked (we imagine they did a drop-off or there was some kind of event for Bentley), and she answers “In my opinion, he was 100% not sober.”

Remember, Ryan was addicted to heroin, and we guess according to Maci, he still may have a problem.

Sad, right?

And speaking of Ryan, the next clip we see is of him yelling at his parents while Mackenzie (Standifer, Mac McKee comes later) stands by.

“I’m tired of you getting on my ass because I have an order of protection against me with them,” he screams.

It’s honestly probably the most animated we’ve ever seen him.

You’ll never believe what comes next — it’s Amber crying on a couch!

“Honestly when I heard those audios I was ashamed,” she told Gary, who didn’t seem super sympathetic.

Which is fair — remember how awful those audios were?

Amber was out of her mind, threatening to kill Andrew and calling him all sorts of horrible names and bragging about punching him in the face.

She should be ashamed.

Next, Andrew confides in a producer, telling him “I never wanted a broken family.”

As if starting a family with Amber Portwood could have ever had a different outcome.

Over in Michigan, Catelynn and Tyler are, once again, talking about having another baby — and Tyler only has one thing on his mind.

“I just want a boy,” he complained, and so Cate looked up some info about gender selection.

She read that it would costs approximately $18,000 to guarantee their next child would be the boy that he’s so desperately wanted, and as she tells him, “I ain’t paying 20 grand for a kid.”

Tyler looks frustrated, but we don’t hear his thoughts on the matter because the trailer cuts quickly (and tragically) to Mackenzie McKee having a talk with her mother.

“How bad is this?” she asks Angie, who admits that things are “pretty bad.”

They were, of course, talking about Angie’s cancer, and since this scene was filmed several months ago, we know just how bad it was.

Angie passed away in December.

This was touched on in the trailer, too — we see Mackenzie crying as her husband holds her, and we hear her say “After losing her, I will never be the same. Something bad is gonna happen.”

From then on out, we just see some quick little bits of drama — Cheyenne scolds Cory for not showing up to something she planned, Maci tells Taylor that something is “going to be a catastrophe.”

Tyler tells Cate that he things she’s “just afraid of failing,” and we’re actually not sure what that could be about, which is rare these days for this show.

And to wrap things up, there’s some footage of the film crew scrambling around in a panic as an ambulance arrives, because apparently “Amber just fainted.”

Seems like it’s going to be a fun season, right?

Teen Mom: How the Cast Members Make SO MUCH MONEY … and Who’s the Richest [UPDATED]

One of the cool things about being on Teen Mom is that you make a lot of money.

Like, a lot.

The moms and the original dads make hundreds of thousands of dollars per season, if you can even believe it, and they also get to travel for free if MTV is filming, which is pretty neat since we’ve been seeing a lot more vacations on the show recently.

But besides the show itself, cast members are pulling in crazy amounts of cash from all kinds of wild and crazy places.

“Like where?” you may be wondering.

Well, wonder no further …

[We’ve updated the list for 2020 so that you can enjoy the slow financial declines of Jenelle Evans and Farrah Abraham. You know you’ve been waiting for this!]

1. Dang

Teen mom threesome
As we’ve said, the original cast members — the moms and the dads of their first children — all make the same amount, which is somewhere in the neighborhood of $350,000 to $400,000 a season. But what else does everyone do?

2. Amber Portwood

Amber portwood plastic surgery photo
Let’s start with reviewing Amber’s side hustles — this will be the easiest to do, because she really doesn’t have any.

3. Not Much

Amber portwood on the insta
She shares articles on her Instagram page, which brings in some money, and she did appear on that one season of Marriage Boot Camp a couple of years ago, so that’s something.

4. A Quick Hobby

Amber portwood cant chill
For a little while there, she got into flipping houses with Matt Baier, but she hasn’t done that since he’s been gone.

5. Forever Haute

Amber portwood deals with matt baier
She did have that sketchy clothing company for a little while, Forever Haute, but she hasn’t talked about it in a very long time, and the brand’s Facebook page hasn’t been updated for a year and a half, so it’s probably safe to say that that’s done.

6. Well …

Amber portwood mugshot 2019
Right now, she’s facing years in prison after assaulting Andrew Glennon, so she’s probably not thinking so much about her next business venture, you know?

Catelynn Lowell Warns Fans: Don’t Expect to See Much of Carly Anymore

We’ve all seen the shocking moment of Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra’s surprise Vow Renewal. Now, that is being explained.

But Catelynn is also warning fans that they’re not going to see as much of Carly as they usually do. But why?

Catelynn opened up to E! News this week about why fans will notice that this season is a little different when it comes to Carly.

“The summer is coming up and if we were to have a visit,” Catelynn warns, “it would be during the summer.”

“Viewers got to see that last summer,” she observes.

But Catelynn explains that this was “because we were filming in the summer when we went to go see [Carly and her adoptive parents].”

“Obviously she is a part of our story,” Catelynn affirms of her firstborn.

“So when things come up on camera,” she reasons, “we talk about her as much as we can.”

“We are in the process of talking with her parents about having another visit and if we can make it all work for everyone,” Catelynn reveals.

She adds: “Then we will definitely try and do it.”

But there are more barriers to viewers seeing Carly on their screens than just logistical concerns about scheduling a visit.

“Carly is getting older,” Catelynn notes, “and she’s about to be 11.”

“And,” she continues, “it’s gotten to a point where her parents want to keep her private.”

Catelynn quickly adds that this is something “which we respect.”

“But another part of it,” Catelynn reasons, “is that she’s older.”

Carly is older “and she’s going to be explaining to her friends what her adoption story looks like from her view of it.”

“I think it’s important for her to be able to share with people going through it,” Catelynn expresses, “and share her story.”

That makes a lot of sense.

“And her parents aren’t on a TV show,” Catelynn reminds everyone, “and they like to have a private life.”

She notes that this is something “which I completely understand.”

“And it just comes from respecting their wishes and what they see for Carly and Carly’s future,” Catelynn explains.

She continues: “And her being able to tell her own story when she’s ready.”

Catelynn has also offered an explanation of the surprise renewal of her vows with Tyler.

“We had a lot of bumps in the road,” she acknowledges.

“We had that separation,” she notes, “so I just kind of wanted to renew our vows and have a fresh start and new beginning.”

“We’re open and honest with each other,” Catelynn says of the rules that she and Tyler use to keep a healthy bond.

“We don’t ever call each other out with each other’s names,” Catelynn adds.

“We’ve put in a lot of work and learned tools over the years,” she says, “and that’s why we are so open with the show and don’t hide anything.”

“It teaches us things and teaches the viewers things,” Catelynn reasons.

“But I feel for our relationship, it’s huge for communication,” she states. “Communication and trust are two huge things.”

Catelynn has also revealed that Tyler would like to one day have a son.

“My baby fever has been through the roof,” Catelynn admits, “but Vaeda is getting bigger and is no longer an infant.”

“One day we want to have another child,” she predicts, “but we’re not like jumping on it yet.”

“But,” she confesses, “it’s something we’re thinking about.”

“Nova says that she wants another brother and another little sister and I told her, ‘Girl you are out of your mind,” Catelynn says with a laugh.

She concludes: “I have a feeling she might jinx me.”

Teen Mom OG: The Arrest of Amber Portwood. The Aftermath.

Amber Portwood has been arrested for domestic violence.

Granted, this is old news for anyone that has followed the Teen Mom OG universe even semi-closely over the past several months.

But the return of this MTV franchise on Tuesday night focused almost entirely on Portwood’s alleged assault last July against then-boyfriend Andrew Glennon, taking viewers behind the scenes of what was going on at the time.

On the show, Portwood confessed that she regretted the way that things played out.

As we saw, her ex — and the father of her daughter, Leah — Gary Shirley was Amber’s main support system while she coped with life after the incident, admitting flat-out she was “in shock” over what transpired.

Viewers also got to witness the rest of the Teen Mom OG cast learn about the arrest — and everyone was pretty worried, most notably Catelynn Baltierra.

After much deliberation, Amber decided to let Glennon continue living in her home with their son, James, who was very much present when she supposedly went after Andrew in a fit of rage, leading to her arrest.

In the aftermath, Portwood moved into a rental home by herself.

And while she was still able to see her daughter due to her strong relationship with Shirley, Amber was really struggling with being away from James.

“Every time I see Leah I just think about James. It just hurts,” Amber told Gary through tears.

(Editor’s Note: Amber was legally banned from seeing her son, thanks to an order of protection, following her arrest. She is is now allowed to have supervised visits and recently opened up about James.)

Still, Amber tried to put on a brave face.

She actually spent a lot time with her daughter, heading over to Gary and his wife Kristina’s home to see Leah off for her first day of school.

At one point, Portwood picked up on her daughter’s nervousness and grew concerned it was her own anxiety that her child was inheriting.

“Instead of happiness, complete joy and excitement, there was too much anxiety and nervousness mixed in with it,” Amber said later of Leah, adding:

“It’s my daughter — I don’t want her to go through anything like that.”

For an understandable reason, of course.

We’ll be seeing and hearing plenty more from Amber this season in regard to her legal and personal situation, but there were some more pleasant Teen Mom OG developments on the premiere…

… like how Catelynn and Tyler renewed their vows!

In Hawaii to celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary, the couple basically got re-marrried, which came as a huge surprise to Tyler.

Why did Catelynn spring this upon her husband?

“I decided to do it because of the year we had prior,” she told Us Weekly this month, referencing the couple’s separation in 2018 and all the obstacles they’ve overcome and adding:

‘It was like a new beginning and recommitting. We are stronger now.”

Elsewhere on an emotional and busy premiere?

  • Maci Bookout and Tyler McKinney went to the woods for a family vacation amid lots more drama with her ex and first baby daddy, Ryan Edwards, and his family.
  • Mackenzie McKee attempted figure out whether or not her marriage to Josh was worth saving, following rumors of his infidelity.
  • Cheyenne Floyd celebrated her long-distance boyfriend, Matt Walker, moving to Los Angeles to be closer to her.

You can follow our link to watch Teen Mom OG online if you need to catch up on anything you missed.

And you can tune in to MTV every Tuesday night at 8/7c to watch new episodes.

You better be staying inside and isolating yourselves these days, so what else are you gonna do, right?

Might as well meet here each week to talk about these wild and crazy ladies, no?

Catelynn Lowell Shocks Tyler with Vow Renewal: Watch Now!

What the f-ck is going on?

These would not typically be the words a woman wants to hear from her man immediately prior to a re-commitment ceremony.

But Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra didn’t take part in a typical re-commitment ceremony late last year.

As you may have read about already, Catelynn and Tyler took a trip in 2019 to Hawaii in order to celebrate their five-year wedding anniversary.

Baltierra, of course, was well aware this trip was taking place.

Once they arrived in the tropical paradise, however, Catelynn arranged quite a surprise for her husband the the father of her daughters: a gorgeous, romantic, special vow renewal ceremony.

It will be featured on the upcoming season of Teen Mom OG.

However, you don’t need to wait that long to see the surprise play out.

Courtesy of E! News, MTV has released an extended sneak peek of the event, as the clip featured on this page opens with Catelynn blindfolding Tyler.

After making sure he can’t see a thing, she leads him to a private destination near the ocean blue water.

“What’s going on? What the f-ck is going on?” Tyler asks his wife. “What’s happening?”

His questions would quickly be answered, of course.

“Catelynn decided to surprise you with a recommitment ceremony and so that you can begin a fresh start,” an officiant says in the footage, adding:

“So go ahead and grab a stone and what we’re going to do is blow into the stone. Anything you’ve been holding on to, anything from the past that needs to be cleared… and then we’ll throw them in the ocean.”

Tyler and Catelynn, as you also likely have read about, have plenty from theeir past to clear away.

Catelynn has suffered from depression and contemplated suicide.

The couple has given up one child for adoption and lost another to a miscarriage.

Tyler asked for a 30-day separation at one point amid rumors of a divorce.

And yet: Here they are, still together, still in love, renewing their vows and emphasizing their feelings for each in a unique way in Hawaii.

“I decided to do it because of the year we had prior. It was like a new beginning and recommitting. We are stronger now,” Catelynn previously told Us Weekly of her decision to surprise her husband in this manner.

She added:

“Whenever you go through things as a couple and come out on the other side, you are always stronger!”

That certainly does appear to be the case here.

Catelynn concluded in the aforementioned interview that she and Tyler are “in a great place” these days, which is welcome news.

Not only do they have a toddler at home, not only do they have a baby at home… but Catelynn wants to get pregnant again! Already!

If any twosome can handle such chaos, this one probably can. They’ve proven so over the years.

It’s that time of year again, friends …

Time for one Teen Mom show to wrap up and another to begin!

It feels like Teen Mom 2 has been airing for so long now, and while it’s been fun to see what that crew has been up to, there’s just something special about those OG girls, you know?

1. What a Ride

Maci catelynn amber and cheyenne
When we last saw the Teen Mom OG girls in the last season finale … well, let’s just say a whole, whole lot has happened since then.

2. A Look Back

Amber portwood stares
Amber, of course, comes to mind first — in the finale, we saw her complaining about Andrew and how he doesn’t understand her struggle with mental health. Yep, that’s how long ago the finale was filmed.

3. Oooh

Amber portwood mugshot 2019
At the end of the episode, MTV shared the news of her July arrest without any actual footage of it, of course — the posted a headline about the events of that night and Amber’s mug shot, then went to Gary and Kristina for a quick chat about what happened and what might happen next.

4. Hey, Maci!

Maci bookout on the gram
Down in Tennessee, Maci was helping Bently, who’d been having trouble focusing in school. She blamed the issue on everything that’s been going on with Ryan, which seemed fair, and got him an appointment with a therapist.

5. Surprise!

Ryan and mackenzie edwards pic
Oh, and we found out that Mackenzie Standifer was pregnant with her second child with Ryan Edwards, which was … a choice.

6. Carly Time!

Catelynn lowell with ty
Catelynn’s segments in the finale revolved around a visit with Carly — so exciting! The drama was that she and Tyler were pretty late to a zoo trip with her because they were trying to make a scrapbook for her and they left everything to the last minute. However, Cate said that Carly loved the scrapbook and that they had a great time together, so that was nice.
