Amber Portwood Demands Andrew Glennon Pay Thousands: He Accused Me of Abuse!

The ongoing legal struggle between Amber Portwood and Andrew Glennon has included alarming accusations and a lot of bitter feelings.

There are very serious issues at the heart of their custody battle, some of which include reasonable concerns about James’ safety.

We all remember how Andrew once implied that Amber’s infamous violence may have been directed at her son at one point.

Now, Amber is demanding that Andrew pay her thousands of dollars over that post.

“You hit your baby boy? Really?” Andrew Glennon’s Instagram Story read back in August of 2021.

He did not actually name Amber, or even the boy in question.

But it is only natural that people would conclude that Andrew was accusing Amber of abusing their won, even if he did not say so.

Andrew accusing Amber

Now, The Sun reports that Amber Portwood is going after him in court.

She is demanding that her ex be held in contempt of court and required to pay $5,000.

In her court filing, she says that Andrew “violated” the law when he shared this “negative” Instagram post about her.

According to Amber, Andrew violated guidelines by “posting negative allegations about a parent on online forums.”

She claimed that this is something “which is harmful to the parties’ child.”

In this case, the allegation is that any badmouthing that either of them do in public is detrimental to James’ well-being.

According to Amber’s filing, in August of 2021, she told Andrew that their child, James, had a “sore on the inside of his lip.”

Per the documents, “After the parenting time exchange at 7:53 PM, Father accusted Mother of hitting James in their communication.”

The filing continues: “Less than 30 minutes later … Father made an Instagram post that stated, ‘You hit your baby boy? … Really?!'”

During the March hearing, Andrew denied that the deleted Instagram Story was about Amber.

But Amber wants him held in contempt of court.

If she gets her wish, Andrew will be required to pay her attorney’s fees — giving him 90 days to hand over $5,000.

Notably, this conflict is not about the allegation that Andrew allegedly made towards Amber.

She’s accusing him of making a negative public statement about her.

Some might say that by identifying herself as the perpetrator in his vague post, she’s telling on herself, but that might be splitting hairs too finely for the legal system.

It is not surprising to hear Amber accused of domestic violence.

Some may think that she only targets the men in her life — first Gary Shirley, then Andrew Glennon — with abuse.

But Teen Mom viewers remember Amber angrily encouraging Gary to use violence against then-little Leah Portwood, so evil of this magnitude is not unthinkable.

Obviously, we cannot help but think of a recent, obnoxiously well-publicized celebrity trial in which one party was sued for defamation.

In that case, as you may recall, an actress acknowledged that she has become associated with domestic violence stories.

Her ex’s victory over her during the lawsuit might not stand up to appeal, but seems likely to inspire other lawsuits against people who speak out similarly.

Unlike, say, Marilyn Manson’s lawsuit against Evan Rachel Wood, possible action that Tory Lanez might take against Megan Thee Stallion, or others, Amber is a woman.

She also took a plea deal following her domestic battery of Andrew during their relationship, so she’s not fighting that accusation.

But despite these differences, the if you talk about me even indirectly, I will take you to court vibes are eerily similar.

That said, this is also a custody battle. For better or for worse, they are both James’ parents.

Maybe James making an accusation like that … however indirectly … violated some court agreement.

But honestly, most of us are more concerned about James’ actual safety than we are about quibbling over last year’s Instagram Stories.

Andrew Glennon Has Recording of Amber Portwood: She Threatened to Slit My Throat

No one is more proud of Amber Portwood’s growth and accomplishments than Amber herself.

As wonderful as that is, it does not erase the past — or make it any less relevant to how people view her, or to how the court rules on custody.

Amber’s violent past is not in question, but Andrew Glennon says that the court does not yet know the extent of it.

In court, he recalled an incident where Amber threatened to slit his throat in his sleep — and revealed that he has the audio to prove it.

Amber Portwood and Andrew Glennon continue to duke it out in court.

Andrew hopes to move to California, where he has job offers on the table, and wants to take 3-year-old son James with him.

Amber is fighting that, hoping to keep James in Indiana where she lives.

The Sun reports that Andrew offered testimony to the judge about an alleged incident that took place months before Amber’s domestic violence arrest.

On April 15 of 2019, Amber allegedly threatened to do bodily harm to James in very explicit terms.

Andrew provided the court details … and offered up an audio recording.

“The audio ends with her saying ‘I’m going to f–king stab you,'” Andrew testified.

“She said she will slit my throat in my sleep,” he continued.

Those are extremely alarming and specific-sounding threats, if Andrew’s allegations are true.

Amber’s attorney hit back, demanding to know from Andrew if Amber had made these alleged threats after telling him to get away from her.

Andrew replied: “I don’t know.”

The attorney then suggested that Amber was “not aware she was being recorded,” prompting Andrew to say “no,” indicating that he believes that she knew.

That particular exchange at first appears to be about whether the recording is legal.

However, Indiana is a one-party consent state, meaning that if even one person in a conversation consents to being recorded, it is legal to do so.

We are not legal experts, but are unaware of any specifics in Indiana law or in Andrew and Amber’s situation that would make the recording inadmissible even if Amber didn’t know about it.

Andrew’s team asked that the audio evidence be played in court and entered into the record.

Amber’s side of course fought back, asking the court to refuse to admit the evidence.

The judge ruled that the audio will be “admitted over the objection of the mother,” indicating plans to “listen to the recoding after the conclusion of these proceedings.”

The judge clarified: “I will be listening to them outside of the record.”

The significance here, beyond the judge hearing it, is that Andrew’s attorney will be able to ask questions pertaining to the recording’s contents.

In turn, Amber’s legal team will be able to bring up the audio recording as well.

This matters because evidence must be admitted by the court in order for it to be fair game.

One cannot have one or both sides of a legal struggle constantly referring to something — a book, a recording, a piece of art — if the court has no frame of reference.

Assuming that Andrew’s description of the audio recording is accurate … this sounds very bad for Amber, and is a reminder that the attack before her July 2019 arrest was not an isolated incident.

Amber Portwood Completes Probation: That’s the LAST Time I Attack a Baby Daddy!

Teen Mom viewers are keenly aware of how troubled Amber Portwood’s history have been.

But even Gary Shirley has praised Amber’s transformation, noting that she’s a better person now than she was even a couple of years ago.

It looks like the courts agree.

Amber has successfully completed her probation following her 2019 attack on Andrew Glennon. Let’s hope that it sticks.

The Sun reports that Amber Portwood wrapped up her 906 days of probation last week.

The Teen Mom OG star has now been discharged by the court of Marion County, Indiana.

She was sentenced to probation in October of 2019, just three months after her domestic violence arrest.

Of course, considering the horror show that led to that arrest in July, Amber’s sentence involved more than simply waiting out the clock.

She had to fulfill the other terms of her sentence, which of course included completing substance abuse and mental health evaluations.

Amber also had to pay a $1,285 fine.

Amber has had to undergo random urine and breath examinations at least once a month since her October sentencing.

According to court records, she has obliged, submitting 21 negative drug tests without missing a single scheduled test or testing positive even once.

That doesn’t just mean no use of illegal drugs, but also no alcohol whatsoever.

There was more, and in some ways, this may have been the most important part of what was required.

Amber was instructed by the court to complete parenting classes and a Batterers’ Intervention Program.

Court records show that Amber complied — but that’s not all.

Amber actually reflected upon her experiences in the Batterers’ Intervention Program in her recent book, So, You’re Crazy Too?

“One program that has really helped me has been the Batterers’ Intervention Program,” she wrote in her book.

“Maybe it was the timing of it all,” Amber speculated.

“I was finally ready to accept responsibility for my actions,” Amber wrote, “and learn ways to keep the actions from happening again.”

She continued: “Whatever the reason, I learned a lot from this program.”

Amber explained: “They teach you the power of holding back and the value of walking away from conflict.”

Honestly, that part — the beginning — sounds like a generic I’ve learned my lesson line of dubious sincerity.

Then, however, it gets more personal.

Amber talks about her upbringing led her down a path to become an abuser herself.

“Where I grew up, it was a sign of weakness to walk away from conflict,” Amber explained.

She affirmed: “This program taught me that walking away from a potentially explosive situation is actually a sign of great inner strength.”

While no background or personal history could ever excuse abuse, it can explain behaviors and help people process their motivations and choose a better way.

It wasn’t just what she learned in the program, but her attitude going into it, that helped Amber to make changes.

“I was determined to fulfill my probation and eager to take anything I could get out of the classes I was mandated to attend,” she reflected in her book.

“I started to learn other ways of coping with fear and danger and intimidation through this program,” Amber added.

“Although I know this is a lifelong battle,” Amber acknowledged, “I am hopeful my days of mug shots and court appearances are behind me for good.”

We certainly hope so, too.

Nothing can make Amber’s past misdeeds go away, but she — and only she — has the power to make sure that history does not repeat itself.

Additionally, court records show that Amber did not violate the no-contact order that was in place to protect Andrew Glennon.

That order has now ended.

For a long time, now, Amber and Andrew’s direct contact has been exclusively about their son, James.

Amber’s charge of Domestic Battery has now been dismissed. (Hopefully, it will be her last)

Instead, the charge on her permanent record is an Alternative Misdemeanor Sentencing — a Level 6 Felony.

Long story short, it looks less bad in the long run when people do criminal background checks.

Catelynn Lowell Launches New Personal Site: Cate Magazine!

Not every aspect of Catelynn Lowell’s life is able to be shown on Teen Mom OG.

The show features an ensemble cast, and time is a precious commodity.

Still, with Catelynn and Tyler’s social media antics and their real lives, of course they have more of themselves to share.

That is why Catelynn is launching her very own magazine to keep fans up to date … and maybe make her social media presence a little better.

Catelynn Lowell has announced Cate Magazine.

This online-only project is in conjunction wtih Richie Media Corp.

The plan is to share news about her life, family, and Teen Mom with “more than 7 million engaged followers.”

Catelynn Lowell Cate site - banner

“Our family is extremely excited for this new business adventure,” the blurb on the Cate Magazine site reads.

“We love our fans and feel honored by their support,” the statement affirms.

“With the new CATE brand, our hope is to give more love to those who have been with us over the past decade,” the site explains.

Catelynn Lowell Cate site - blurb

“So be ready because this baby is ready to rock!” the Cate Magazine site teases.

The site is already off the ground.

Even shiny and new, it already includes links to various articles, some “exclusive” while others are arranged by topics, like “reality.”

We can already see Catelynn offering parenting advice, being a mother herself.

Additionally, she and Tyler have detailed their renovations.

And there are entire sections of Teen Mom related content, with more to come in the future.

The idea is that this is a site where Catelynn can share what she wants and reach fans directly.

Enjoying the sales pitch? Great! You can go check out Catelynn’s online venture.

But some of us want to take a close look at what exactly this is.

See, for years, Catelynn — alongside numerous other reality stars, including some fellow Teen Mom cast members — has been big into clickbait.

We don’t mean that she reads it or writes it or even publishes it herself.

Instead, we mean that she allows her management to post clickbait to her Instagram Stories.

Some people misuse the term clickbait, referring to any article (especially if the entire article isn’t somehow contained in the headline) as such.

In reality, clickbait is more like “oh no, it’s time to say goodbye …” over a picture of a reality star in a hospital bed, but the pic is from when they got their tonsils out and the story is about buying a new car.

When people of low-to-middling fame share these, it’s a way to monetize their social media following. They get a little money, but fans get furious.

In theory, this site could be a solution to that.

Catelynn does have millions of followers. Some of them might want a no-nonsense look at what she really wants to share.

But is that what they’re getting?

Some of these articles already have some goofy vibes.

We’re not saying “clickbait” exactly, but vague “so sweet!” headlines and others debunking “divorce rumors” aren’t exactly giving people the inside scoop.

A personal website often implies behind-the-scenes looks and exclusives, not aggregating existing stories about one person so long as those stories are flattering.

Still, it’s a new site and maybe it will grow with time.

We could also see it really change if Catelynn and Tyler say goodbye to MTV forever … which is always possible, in the long run.

At the very least, we’d love to see Catelynn’s Instagram Story become less of a “swipe up” minefield.

The post Wha?? Teen Mom OG & Teen Mom 2 Being Combined Into One Show With Half The Casts Fired: REPORT appeared first on Perez Hilton.

Amber Portwood: I’ve Boned More Than 40 Guys and Gals! I’m VERY Demanding!

Amber Portwood’s new book is filled with a lot of details about the Teen Mom star’s life.

Not everything gets filmed by MTV. A lot of Are You Crazy, Too? has hair-raising stories from Amber’s past.

Viewers may think that she practically lives on her couch, but Amber has made plenty of time for her bedroom, too.

In her memoir, she opens up about her sexual history, referring to having had more than 40 sexual partners.

Amber didn’t just cover the simple stats of how many men and women she has slept with over the years.

She also spoke about how much sex she likes, when she wants it, and what really drives her wild.

Fans will of course remember when Amber came out as bisexual last year. Obviously, her book discusses the women who have shared her bed.

“I have had sex in my short 30 years of life with over 40 men and some women,” Amber wrote.

There is some ambiguity to that sentence, but strictly speaking, she’s saying that she has slept with at least 41 men and at least 2 women.

Either of those numbers could potentially be considerably higher, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that they are.

Truth be told, many would be surprised to know how far above average that is.

Did you know that the average person has only had 7 or 8 sexual partners in their lifetime?

Before you ask, yes, that statistic includes Millennials.

We can of course remember that, for every sexual superstar whose body count is in the triple digits, there are people with zero to two partners bringing down the average.

That is okay! Sex is a personal decision, not a grade on a test or a competition.

Honestly, Amber’s sexual history (numerically speaking) sounds very reasonable, and also not surprising for a beautiful reality star.

Amber also shared that, frankly, not everyone can keep up with her long enough to stick around.

“When I am in a committed relationship,” she divulged, “I like to have sex four or five times a day.”

Before some wonder if that’s a realistic ask, we should remember that there are many types of sex, and not all of them have to involve a penis or Olympian stamina.

“I am certain, of course, that this is part of a mental disorder,” Amber said, likely referring to her bipolar disorder diagnosis.

One of the classic symptoms of a manic episode is a significantly increased sex drive.

“But sometimes I think sex is just a healthy part of life,” she said accurately.

“And my love of sex is an attribute, not something to be cured,” Amber expressed.

She is once again absolutely right.

Someone not wanting sex at all is not a disease. Neither is wanting it all of the time. Sexual desire, like so many things, is on a spectrum.

Amber noted something that countless people in the mentally ill community have observed: being medicated has drawbacks.

“Low sex drive is a side effect of antidepressants,” she noted.

“I still really enjoy sex, of course,” Amber affirmed, “but it takes more work now to get me going.”

“I am pretty sure this side effect of my medication is the Universe’s way of slowing me down,” Amber joked in her book.

We would like to think that the universe does not, in any sense, have a vested interest in killing anyone’s sex drive.

There are a lot of problems in the world. Horniness is simply not one of them.

Amber noted that sex isn’t just fun — it has actually improved her life dramatically, in the long term.

“My love of sex landed me on a show about teen pregnancy that pays my bills to this day,” she pointed out.

“So,” Amber reasoned, “it’s hard to think of my desire for a lot of sex is a dirty secret to be kept locked up and not discussed.”

To be clear, we think (we hope) that this is an endorsement of healthy human sexual expression.

Not a recommendation that others become parents as teenagers in order to follow in their footsteps.

In case there was any doubt, becoming a parent when you are in high school is not a healthy expression of sexuality.

“But clearly I needed to learn — and I am still learning,” Amber continued.

She is learning “that it is possible to have too much of a good thing.”

Amber added that this is true of “(even a great thing like sex).”

Amber touched on (pun not intended) Dimitri Garcia, whom she “dated” when he would make trips from Belgium to see her.

According to her, she rocked his whole world in terms of her sexual desires and creativity.

“I like to call my Belgian lover ‘Pretty Dick’ for obvious reasons,” she wrote. Well, good for him.

“He calls me ‘Baby Love.’ I think I introduced him to a whole new world, sexually speaking…” Amber noted.

In addition to some extremely explicit details, Amber also shared that she introduced Dimitri to love biting … something that most people discover on their own.

We hope that Amber’s honest discussion of her sexual history will inspire others to love themselves a bit more. Sexual stigma is brainrot.

Amber Portwood Scores Courtroom Victory vs. Andrew Glennon Ahead of Custody Trial

Just a couple of weeks ago, the court-ordered drug tests for Amber Portwood and Andrew Glennon came back.

Both were cleared, but that’s only one small part of their ongoing custody war.

Amber has scored a recent victory in that struggle, albeit a small one.

Is this minor setback for Andrew a stepping stone for Amber to take more control over 3-year-old James’ life?

The Sun reports that Amber Portwood filed a motion recently regarding her ex, Andrew Glennon.

The motion was requesting that Andrew be given less time to her “Interrogatories and Request for Production of Documents.”

In other words, Amber is demanding that Andrew file his official response, including documents, by February 28.

That makes it less than three weeks after the date on which he was initially served the request for documents.

Amber’s legal team argued that the “requested answers and documentation are necessary” to prepare for the upcoming custody trial.

In other words, this is the custody equivalent of filing discovery, and Amber wanted to move up the deadline on Andrew.

Andrew’s team filed an objection to Amber’s motion.

Their response to her original request will be used at trial, and they have a lot of things to go through.

Andrew’s attorney made some solid points about how shady it was that Amber filed at the last minute like this.

“Respondent filed her discovery requests on February 7, 2022,” Team Andrew noted.

The attorney detailed “which include 26 interrogatories and 20 requests for production of documents.”

“Respondent has had years to conduct discovery,” Andrew’s team noted, “but has waited until the last minute to do so.”

Meanwhile, Andrew’s legal team added that they had served Amber with discovery months ago, in October of 2021.

The attorney claimed that she has “yet to answer.”

Andrew’s team argued that granting her motion would “be rewarding [Amber] and counsel for [their] negligence to this matter to the detriment of [Andrew.]”

However, for whatever reason, the court sided with Amber.

Andrew has to turn over all 26 answers and produce all 20 documents by February 28.

That can be a lot of paperwork to sort through in a limited time … which may have been the point.

Andrew replied with a filing of his own.

His team is asking the court to order Amber to “submit full, complete responses to discovery” that were sent last year.

“Respondent’s responses to discovery are necessary for adequate preparation for a final hearing in this matter on March 2 and March 3, 2022,” he argued.

The judge granted Andrew’s request.

Amber was assigned the deadline of February 14 — how romantic?

However, court documents indicate that Amber provided the documents in time.

This, of course, is just a tug-of-war over discovery documents ahead of next month’s custody trial.

The two have had previous legal scuffles, including Andrew’s accusations that Amber was once again using drugs.

During a custody dropoff, he perceived alarming behavior that made him fear that Amber was high — possibly, he speculated, on meth.

For some reason, it took months before the court ordered the two of them to submit to urine tests.

Both results came back clean … though, of course, urine drug tests only show results from recent days (at the most).

We hope that Amber is well and remains sober.
